Fantasy Tyranny of King Valerian - A Fantasy GroupRP (Closed and Over)

Birdsie

The God-Emperor of Mankind
(This RP is a sequel to a 1x1 I've had with @Paint The Wind . If you RP for long enough, you might discover all the secrets.)

He was sitting on his throne, bluntly and arrogantly watching the kneeled monster.

It was a Minotaur Child, a few years old at most. He smirked and looked down on it, sitting on his throne. His white hair and teeth, just as white as snow were reflecting the light, blinding the Minoutaur slightly. He opened his mouth and drank some wine from a silver chalice.

Then he opened his mouth again and said "I've got my verdict. Execute this filth." as the Guards took the Minotaur away, he Smirked.

King Leon Valerian... the Tyrant against Non-humans.

He believes anyone, and anything non-human is scum.

He has no respect for them, an Adventurer took the quest to stop him.

But she'll need friends... will you help her?

Arabelle Leighten was sitting on a stool in a tavern with a beer in her hand and a cloak with the hood up over her. She was staring down at the table, when someone handed her a note. She nodded at them and opened it. "A young minatour was killed by the King." it read. She crumpled it up in her fist and dropped it into the ground. She stood up and left the tavern, leaving money on the counter.

Once she was outside she mounted her horse, her hood still up and hiding her face. People were whispering in the streets when they saw her. "The Adventurer" the called her, for no one knew her real name. It was too dangerous for her to give her name out. She could get killed.

She had worked alone for years but finally she decided to stand up and fight visibly against the tyrant King. She needed help though, but she didn't have any. She decided to ride through the night and stay at a tavern in the next town, hoping someone would want to help her there.

I am: King Leon Valerian Forrester

I am at: The Castle in the Capital of Rivannia

I am with: No one.

Valerian got up and looked into the Mirror, he couldn't sleep.

He walked off onto the Balcony, with only his pants and boots on. He looked down at the peaceful City, minding it's own business.

He thought about what happened several years ago and returned to his bed, lying on it staring onto the ceiling.

He looked onto the right, and then left, and back onto the Ceiling. He closed his eyes and once again tried to fall asleep.

When Arabelle stepped into the tavern, she would hear various rumors about the town. Some talked about the local witch able to do some incredible healing and brew working love potions and other tonics. Other rumors talk about a snake like monster browing the woods at night, stealing supplies from the locals. There was talk of a reward out for the monsters head.

Bailey tossed and turned trying to get comfortable. The window down cast shadows on the stone walls of her room. A rumor has been going around the castle that "The Adventure" was seen in a town near by. Bailey sat up and got dressed before heading to the training yard. Her daggers were what she was training with tonight.

Valerian realized he'd get no sleep... it was sunrise soon anyways, right?

He put on his clothes and decided to take a Walk around the Castle, maybe ask the Guards about their day?

He walked out of his room and saw a few Guards patrolling the hallway, he asked them a few questions and allowed them to return to their duty.

He continued downstairs towards the Training Yard.

"Good morning, Ms. Hall." Valerian said with a calm, bored and tired voice. He looked at her and said "Any rumours going around, lately?"

Bailey grunted as she landed another hit on the trained dummy. It feel, she picked it up and moved to a different one, a more stable one. Sweat began to from and as she tried to do a more complex more, she lost her footing and fell. She lay there with her eyes squinted shut, breathing heavily. After a minute or two she got back up, dusted herself off and tried the move again. This time she executed it correctly. She smiled, feeling good that she had. She then heard a familiar voice "Hello your hiney, and yes," she turned to face the king "The Adventure is back,"

Valerian observed her fighting, quite unimpressed but still observed as he had nothing better to do.

In his arrogance he decided to start 'training' too, just to show everyone around how superior he is.

He unsheathed his sword, and with one swift strike, he cut the training dummy, seemingly no damage to it was done.

He looked at Bailey, smiling and said "Can you do something like that?"

After he was done speaking he poked the Dummy's chest and it collapsed into two pieces, one of them falling on the ground.

Arabelle heard talk of this monster and decided to search for it, she had nothing else to do. She went into the woods with her swords drawn and an alert expression on her face.

Bailey smirked, her eyes glowing slightly. Her form became translucent until she wasn't visable. Valerian raised an eyebrow "No, but I can do this" Bailey said , as she became visable behind him and in her hand the kings ring. It looked bigger than it was in her slender hands. She placed it in his hand, and closed his fingers around it. She smirked, and walked back over to the weapons rack.

"And can you perhaps do this?" he asked, casting a huge ball of fire into a Training Dummy. As soon as it hit, it exploded with great power, there weren't even Ashes left, and everything around where the Dummy stood was burnt to ashes, with fire in some of the places.

Valerian smirked, waiting if she has any more tricks to show to him.

"So you really are challenging me?" She said, chuckling. Valerian crossed his arms, waiting. "Alright," a small breeze filled the training yard, as two black direwolves appered beside her. She raised her arm and flicked her hand twoards Valerian. The wolves approached, growling. Bailey smirked and followed behind them. Her footsteps echoed, and gripped her dagger.

((I am GTG. I'll be tomorrow so we can end this.))

Valerian smirked, aiming his Sword at the Wolves, shooting Bolts of fire at them from the sword's tip.

((Kk, that's fine))

The wolves dodged the fire bolts, weaving around them and the falling back. Valerian smirked thinking she was done, before realizing there were at least 6 swords in mid air, pointed at him.

Thalia slithered quickly not far from the village using the trees and bushes for cover and had an illusion spell just in case she needed to disguise her self quick. She was picking herbs for her potion's, a risky task but she was always careful picking times were there were rarely any humans about. Most were too afraid of her anyways.

Arabelle walked through the brush. She wasn't planning to hurt this beast, whatever it is. She kept her swords out and pointed out but she didn't have a threatening air about her. "Hello? Is anyone there?" she called.

Thalia ducked away quickly behind a tree at the sound of the voice. She peeked slightly see an adventure type with swords drawn, she frowned seeing another human after head. Her snakes hissed clearly threatened by the presence and she tried to hush them."Quite..."She muttered stroking her head snakes gently before taking a deep breath and casting a spell that made her look human. She couldn't keep it up for long so had to get rid of her quick. Once done she stepped out."who enters my home?"

She stood with her arms up to protect her but her stance was relaxed. "I am a humble Adventurer, and I wanted to see who was in the woods that the townsfolk speak of. I am not here to harm you, on the contrary. I want to protect you. You must stay away from the village, soon the forces of the horrible King Leon will come here and kill you if the townsfolk speak so much of you."

Ari had heard reports of a snake demon in a forest. It was his job to check it out, and, if it were hostile, end it

Ari walked to the front of the forest and summoned his snakes, a team of incredibly toxic snakes. "Find this demon and keep on guard for other hostile snakes in the area." They hissed their approval and slithered off

Not 3 minutes later, he got an alert from one of his snakes. The scent of a human was near. He got close and noticed it was one called "the adventurer," conversing with another human. It couldn't fool Ari though. He used the same type of magic as this person did. This was the demon

Ari's snakes were getting agitated at the presence of the other snakes and their master. "Keep still, dumbasses. We're supposed to be on a stealth mission here."

Thalia smirked at the warning of the adventurer, she seemed quicker than most towers she tents to meet. "It wouldn't be the first time, young one. The spirits have always been kind to their servant on that regard, the allow me to escape long before trouble and fight when I need to. You are kind to consider a a recluse like myself. "She spoke in the mystical tribal manner of old which always seem to impress most of her idiot customers. Soon though she sensed the snake approach followed by its master and frowned at the masters treatment of the snake. "One must not mistreat such loyal and smart snakes."She called out to the hidden man. "Step iout I am not one to bite... turn people to stone but not bite. Also my snakes would be grateful for the company of others."

"Leon's forces are strong and fast. They will find you, and they will kill you. I don't want that to happen to the innocent, so I came to warn you. Heed my warning or not, but I must go. I'm going to stop Leon." she said, raising her swords when the woman heard something in the brush.

Ari scoffed."These guys are making mistakes that, if you were a hostile, could get us killed. Of course I love my familiars, but they tend to mess up at the worst possible times."

One of the snakes hissed in disappointment. The snake woman may or may not understand, but the human girl definitely wouldn't "We're sorry. You're just the only snake master we've seen in a while. It was definitely a cause for alert"

Ari sighed. "Alright then. Since this wasn't a hostile, I'll let this one slide."

"The king Valerian told me to search and maybe destroy, but you don't seem like a hostile, so I don't have to put you down."

"I have been hunted by you humans since before you two were even your parents privates. I know their intentions and have seen what they csn do. And people call me a mindless momster."She said said almost darkly before smirking when hearing the snakes speak. "I wouldn't call myself a snake master more... a distance cousin. "She said to the snakes sweetly."I suppose there is not much need for a disguise is there."She said letting the spell disipate and showing her true self. Her snake hair seemed still at first before stirring at the slumber, they were at first confused before they looked curiosly at the snake master and his snakes, unsure of what to make of them."Say hi to our new friends sweethearts don't be shy."She saI'd to them and they seemed to obey. Thalia turned her attention to the man."Try having your familiars attached to you... at least you can hsve skme space from them."She said knowingly before turning to the girl."You really are a curious one. Going against a king with an army on your own for creatures that would sooner kill you."

"I don't care. They don't deserve to be killed. They haven't hurt him, a Minotaur child age 4 at most was just brutally murdered. I need to stop him. I don't care what they would do to me. I have nothing to live for, if I die I'm okay with it."
