I'm a bit confused on what you mean...

So... It's almost the exact same as Psychie. Since you didn't start with the original group, and created a character after the arrival of Mor'do and Elizabeth I've decide that both yours and Psychie characters will start in the Keep where the players were going.

Here is the story for you:
1. Some way some how you were in Greenest when the attacked happen. The reason is yours. (You can be traveling through Greenest when the attack happened. You could have been traveling to Greenest and saw the attack after it happen. You could have been with the Caravan but left later than the rest. )

2. You have made it through to the Keep, you have met Castellan Escobert the Red. A shield dwarf and the Master of the Keep. You both were on your way to the lone tower in the keep to talk to Governor Nighthill when Castellan heard a knocking from a supply closet. He went in, moved some stuff and started to unlock a trap door. The rest you can read in the thread.

3. You can be in the room when they come in, or you can be outside waiting for the dwarf, or you can move on to attempt to find your way towards the Governor.

Syvvaris just an idea: For the sake of narrative cohesiveness, can you have the DMPC's just go off and do something to explain their absence rather than just make them disappear. I just feel it's kinda wrong for them to vanish when they were so instrumental in the opening sequence. Could it also to be possible to find the corpses of the PC's that ended up vanishing inexplicably? LOL

I do not plan on having them disappear, like they have kinda in the past few posts. There will be somewhat closure when you guys split. It's just there wasn't much for them to do and I'm letting ya'll take over...

I was also debating on seeing how far you guys would have gone without me posting... (Translation: At some point you do need to let me post before continuing)

1. Just reread the spell and you're right Escobert shouldn't have heard that.
2. His words will still stand because you snapped and Escobert is standing right above you (maybe a foot or so away)
3. Message is a verbal spell and Escobert rolled a 17. He would have seen you say something and not hear it when he's not that far from you.
4. So it's more of him figuring you're using magic. (Also if you are dressed like those pictures you post, he has a good idea you're a magic user.)

edit: It is a whisper, so it has to be verbalized in some capacity. But am I allowed to flavor things up? Or should I just say I use a spell to avoid any technicalities?

He opened the trap door and only took a step or so back. You were still in the ladder when I posted, which means he was pretty much standing over you.

You are able to flavor up spells as long as it doesn't add or copy affects of other spells or abilities. With Message, you have to "vocalize it". I won't allow it to be telepathic because there are spells and abilities that to telepathy.

Theres an IRL invention that does it. I forget what its called. Its a sort of one directional speaker. Only the person its pointed at can hear it. Screw magic. We have SCIENCE.

So Escobert wouldn't have heard what you said but magic would silence the message to anyone but the intended person.

Perception also means sight also.
He saw your mouth move. Plus when mor dr spoke no one would have heard him. When he clearly was speaking out loud.
