the dm explained it like this "thokk plus 6 intelligence (btw plus 6 is like ridiculous op for DnD) and plus 4 strength (wizards shouldn't have that but like muscle wizard) combined into such a powerful magic muscle attack that the punch broke through into the realm of magic and ripped the spell apart
