Two Gentlemen of Castile

Seriously? I thought the user handle was anything people wanted and that there were hundreds of Johnnys. Was Valentina taken when you did yours? How was your day?
 
I didn't try just Valentina cause I use myvalentina as my user handle for almost everything online if it's not already taken.


It was good. I slept in, went to work the usual. My cramps were only really bad when I got up, but then my aunt gave some tea and I took some advil it was a normal day after that. I do have work in the morning though :P
 
Did I do my post right and is it okay? I'm still trying to figure out when to cut off for paragraphs. What is a normal day at work for you? Standing at the cash register, stocking the shelves, and mopping the floor? My days have been so lackluster lately. I need to get out in the sun and maybe go see a movie. I kind of want to see Terminator Genysis and really want to see Dope. I forgot! I was really sick yesterday, like had such a monster headache that I threw up after taking tynenol. That wasn't a great time, throwing up the bitterness of pills mixed with tang orange juice. Do you have vacation time or anything? Sorry, I'm just trying to start a longer conversation so it isn't just constantly coming up with questions/answers to interrupt the RP.
 
Yeah. It's readable. I try to write like it's an entry in a book, like paragraph breaks and dialogue separate. But I mean as long as it's readable it should be good.


I clock in, and in the mornings I make sure certain things are working properly and all the lights in the coke machines are turned on. Then I hang out behind the cash register all day, unless they do need me to stock shelves or something else. I greet vendors and write checks and answer the phones and stuff, it's all pretty boring. I'm mostly on my phone, like I keep it right next to the credit card machine so it's out of sight.


I'm supposed to get two weeks off soon. We haven't decided what we're doing yet but me and some friends were talking about going down to South Padre Island. But I also want to go to California to see my brother. I don't think I mentioned it but he's engaged and about to have his first kid like in a month.


I really want to go see Dope. We almost did but then we saw Insidious 3 instead but it was so dumb. It was so dumb it ended up being funny so I didn't regret paying to see it, but I certainly regret seeing it instead of dope lol.


Do you know what might have caused the headache cause that sounds awful. I was really sick all week and I totally lost my voice over the weekend but I still went to work, with like a whisper voice lol, but I did miss work last friday.
 
Do you think you'll be able to reply to the RP at work? LOL I'm sure this could be a good distraction for those boring hours. That's what sucks about work that isn't difficult, there's more thinking about how much time you have to be there.


Take me to California too! We can meetup there and then I'll have someone with me. I've been wanting to visit California to check it out and see what it's like, but I don't have anyone that can go, and I don't want to just go alone. I'd feel like a weirdo.


I think it was just a bad reaction to the tynenol, I don't know, but I was okay after hurling/vomiting 4-5 times consecutively. Did you figure you what might've been wrong with you?
 
Maybe. It's easier to RP here then it would be on tumblr and stuff so possibly. It's just there's always stuff happening I suavely don't get long uninterrupted moments so that I could respond. It would still take a while per response. But I could try.


Yeah I'll tell you when I figure out if I am going. My cousin wants to go too so maybe we can get some cheap group tickets and hotel rooms like my family did when we visited in november. I'd love to go this time without my mom, but maybe she might tag along, again I'm not too sure yet whether it's gonna happen.


I should've gone to the doctor cause it could have been something really bad. I don't know I took some antibiotics and just rested and I'm better now as far as I can tell. I'm still coughing a little bit, but nothing too bad. I just hope nobody else gets it, it was bad for a couple of days there.

Just keep me updated on the plans to go. No worries about your cousin or mom going, I don't mind. What I really want to do is see job postings and see what's out there for auditions too. Oh, and Congrats!! You're going to be a tia, that is really exciting. Is your brother going to still stay out in California and start his family there?


You probably should've gone and got some medicine to clear up anything else in your system or find out if you're contagious. You can still go, or wait to see if it comes back, if it comes back then go for sure. How is your brother David doing? Crystal told me they went to a protest together, so I hope he's liking UNT.
 
Yeah sure. I have to go to sleep now, but I'll see if I can reply at work tomorrow. I work from 8am-3pm.


Yeah I know but I'd rather it just be me and my cousin, cause I want to do stuff without being watched over. Yeah my older brother is staying out there for a couple more years, because he wants to make sure he gets the experience he needs to get a better job when he comes back to Dallas. He said maybe a two or three years more in Cali.


Yeah I am going to go to the doctor. I've been meaning to go get some bloodwork done and just get a check up. I just didn't go. I'm lazy.


David is okay. He's having his own problems that he's trying to figure out. Depression and anxiety too, but school and structure is helping him some. He really found good groups and extra curricular activities to be a part of so I'm sure he's liking it a bit. It was fought his first year but I think he's getting a good routine.
 
Sorry for the late reply, yesterday was a long day. I bought a new television, a headset, and the blu ray release of Spirited Away. My last TV crapped out when I was watching The Fall on Netflix, it didn't explode or not come on, but the picture was messed up. My mom said it's because of the games, highly doubtful considering I hardly ever game and only use the PS4 for netflix/movies. How was your day?


It takes a little while to get your footing in Denton. My first semester wasn't easy with a wild roommate and adjusting to being independent. I remember taking classes I thought were cool, which they were, but didn't provide much progress to my grad plan. That's one thing I hate about college, how you pay so much money to attend and are suppose to be there to learn, yet you're basically in High School again with classes you're "supposed" to take. Lame, but still a fun experience. I'm sure David will find his tribe of people soon enough, plus he has you and Crystal to help him out. Just encourage him not to give up, but still support whatever decision he makes. Oh and remind him it's college, not high school, so you can always go back!
 
Oh yeah no problem. I woke up late today and went to work. It only took me so long to respond was because I had a really killer headache when I got off of work so I took some pills and now I'm feeling better.


Yeah David is doing okay, it's just a lot of nervousness over his future. He's aggressively tackling school as in taking a lot of classes and doing everything he can, but at the end of the day he worries what's gonna happen after college. I'm super happy that he does have me and crystal cause I know my depression hit hard that first semester when I didn't really know anyone at school so I hope it helped he had a couple of people there to fall back on if he needed to.


California plans look like it might be pushed to September. My brother says to wait and give them some space since they'll be super busy when the baby is born.
 
It's cool about California, there is always other times. Do you want to skip ahead to the arrival at the kingdom in the next post? Or do you not skip at all?


Did you do anything for 4th of July? I went to see fireworks and went to a party, so I didn't get a chance to reply then, and the next day I wasn't feeling up to do anything. I did start watching The Tudors on Netflix, the episodes are so freakin' long, but I like medieval history so it's all good.
 
Oh yeah we can skip whenever. I was wondering whether they should drop off their cargo at the near by port city and maybe that's when they meet up with the theater troupe? Or they have a secret hearing with the king and queen who order them to pretend to be part of the theater troupe. Idk what do you think?


I almost went to denton to see Fireworks with david but he had work to do and I wasn't up for the drive. I worked that morning and it had been really busy so I was tired and I just stayed in. I started watching Twin Peaks, omg that show is really weird. Like it's campy and written to be like a dumb prime time soap opera with a lot of intrigue and back stabbing and secrets and melodrama, but then it's just plain weird.
 
How about they've already dropped their cargo and are going to the castle/palace to have a meeting with the Prince? That way we can establish more of the relationship between them and the royals. During the meeting with the prince we can get the mission to infiltrate a troupe that has stolen some precious jewels/equipment?


I should check out Twin Peaks, that's been on my list for a while now.

Twin peaks is weird. Like really dated but almost on purpose idk. I was interested to watch it because i think David Lynch is brining it back
