Two Different Worlds - (PartyRocker1013xLyraDark) [Inactive]

"One is at the Empire State Building," he said. "The other being here. We're going to have to make this quick since there are 30 minutes in between the deaths." He checked his watch and his eyes widened. "Come on! We only have fifteen minutes!" He quickly ran for the door.

She followed, going the quicker she could since she had an headache. "I hate tight schedules..." she mumbled to herself.

They had come just in time. Only two minutes early. He looked around and then looked up at the building. "Oh dear," he said. There was a man leaning out of the window, standing on the ledge. A crowd of other people had started to notice it, as well.

Eventually the man finally jumped off, landing on his head. He broke his neck and a horrible crunch was heard. He clenched his fists when he heard it. It reminded him of the sound the bodies made against the gears at the factory. He knelt down beside the body, and repeated the incantation. He checked his watch. "If only we had more time," he grumbled.

"We only have 30 minutes until the next death and we have to find this person in the hotel," he said, already walking away from the crowd of people around the dead body.

"I couldn't find anything before we left," he said. "I'm just hoping we have a lot more luck when we get back." When they reached the hotel, he began to walk up and down the halls, feeling for which room may be the right one.

Zandyrr couldn't pick up anything. There was just a small feeling when he reached a certain door. He checked his watch. 'Please tell me this is the right one,' he thought. He put his ear up to the door. For a second, it was complete silence. Just then, he fell back onto the floor when when he heard a gunshot and someone barreled through the door. "Damnit!" he yelled.

He quickly got up. He yelled at the person running down the hall. "Do you not know a more subtle form of murder?!" He got himself up and opened the door. There was blood everywhere. There was a beaten up woman with plenty of unhealed scars, fresh bruises, you name it. She had blood all over her body. The sight even made him cringe a bit. "Silver. First lesson: Soul collections." He reached for his spell book, looking for the right page.

She blinked. Come on Silver! Prove that you are strong! she tought to herself. She waited for more information about what she will do.

Zandyrr found the incantation. "We must be quick about this. Deaths have a tendency to be on a tight schedule. Kneel down beside the body and place your hand on it's forehead," he instructed.

"Repeat after me" he said. Zandyrr began to sound out the incantation. He heard loud footsteps rushing this way and distant sirens. He was pleased to see when they finished the incantation, the soul's essence depart from the body.

He heard the footsteps getting much closer. 'Damnit' he thought. "We have to go. Fate can't keep us hidden from the mortals for long," he said, grabbing her hand and running down the hall.

She took her head with her free hand. Her headache was growing intensly painfull. She tried to hide it. It was not the time for now to complain about her headache.

When they finally got back to the hotel room, Zandyrr just leaned against the door. He was panting by now. He looked up at Silver and smiled. "You did a wonderful job, Silver," he complimented her.

"Thanks..." she said before leaning her back against the wall and sitting on the ground, now holding her head with her two hands.

Zandyrr didn't think it was that bad. He'd never actually had a headache in his life. He'd heard about how they felt, though. He felt helpless, not knowing what to do about it. He sat down beside Silver against the wall. "Anything I can do?" he asked.
