Silver waited. She waited because she didn't knew what she could do other than that.

Zandyrr then placed sticks along the lines of the star, gluing them down with a sticky substance. He pulled out a Zippo lighter and lit the sticks, withwhich afterwards a portal opened in the middle of the star. He turned to Silver. "Ready?" he asked.

 

[LyraDark]

"I suppose..." Silver said.

Zandyrr took a knife, cutting a tiny slit on the tip of his index finger. A drop of blood fell and landed on the portal, opening it up. Zandyrr led the way down a staircase, leading to the entrance.

 

[LyraDark]

Silver looked around quietly.

The underworld was, in a way, the same as a mortal would have depicted it. When they reached the entrance, the gate opened up automatically with no resistance. He led the way to a building, formed from the reddened soil all around them. He looked over at Silver, who was a lot more quiet now. "Got anything to say or ask before we head inside?" he asked.

 

[LyraDark]

"No..." Silver said. She was rarely quiet like that.

Zandyrr still thought something was wrong, but instead, he just dismissed it. He led the way to the Council's office. The tradition had changed so much since biblical times. Before they entered, Zandyrr leaned over and whispered to Silver, "Good luck."

 

[LyraDark]

"Thanks..." she said. She really didn't knew why she needed luck but she didn't asked any questions.

Zandyrr just paced around the portal nervously as he waited for Silver to come out. The Council ordered him to wait in the mortal world.

 

[LyraDark]

Finally, Silver camed out of the portal. She yawned. "My gosh i'm tired!" she said.

 

[PartyRocker1013]

Zandyrr grinned. "So you made it?" he asked.

 

[LyraDark]

"Yeah..." she said and yawned again.

 

[PartyRocker1013]

Zandyrr was overwhelmed with pride. "Yeah. We should head home. You must be tired after all that," he said.

 

[LyraDark]

She nodded. "Really tired," she said.

 

[PartyRocker1013]

Zandyrr led the way to the apartment, looking over at Silver from time to time to make sure she didn't fall asleep on the way.

 

[LyraDark]

Of course she did, she was really tired.

 

[PartyRocker1013]

Zandyrr just carried her the rest of the way again and laid her in bed when they reached the apartment. He layed down beside Silver as fell asleep.

Silver sleeped peacefully.

Zandyrr woke up the next morning, happy to see Silver sleeping. 'No dreams this time' he thought. He just watched her sleep until she woke up.

Silver woke up some time after. "What time is it?" she asked.

 

[LyraDark]

Zandyrr looked at his watch, seeing that it was 6:00. They'd woken up early. "Six o'clock," he said.
