"It really does look bad," he agreed. He held Silver down. "This is going to hurt," he warned. He began to use the tweezers to carefuly remove bullets that were in the holes.

It hurted of course but she did not let it look like. She wanted to prove that she was strong. She groaned silently.

Zandyrr finally managed to get all several of the bullets removed. Most of the bullets had just passed through her wing. "You took that much better than I thought you would," he admitted. He searched for a bottle of water and put it on a rag, cleaning the stained blood off of her wings.

She smiled. "Great..." she said. It was no longer hurting her. She was happy that her wing had a chance to heal.

Zandyrr began to gather everything up. He was glad he could finally help her for once. He sat down and looked up at the sky. It was near dark by now.

"Ugh... I'm not sure. My wing has to heal on it's own and the mortals will see my wings if I just walk out there," said Zandyrr. "Any ideas?"

Zandyrr layed his head back against the wall. "We'll just have to improvise for now," he said. He looked over at Silver an smiled. He was just glad to see her wellbeing.

Silver was lost in her toughts but she was trying to find a way to get out of this bad situation. "Yeah..." she said.

Zandyrr was thinking just as hard about what they could do next. Eventually, he closed his eyes and fell asleep. He was dreaming again. He was standing on the sidewalk when Silver had almost gotten run over.

Zandyrr couldn't seem to move. He saw Silver walk out into the road and get hit by an oncoming car this time. He sat up straight and gasped. He wasn't sure what he had just seen.

"Is everything alright?" she asked worriedly. Her green eyes were filled with the same worried tone that her voice had as she was talking.

Zandyrr looked over at Silver and felt a wave of relief wash over him. 'A dream' he thought. He smiled dryly at her. "Just fine," he said.

"Okay," she said. She then looked reassured. She then sat down and closed her eyes. She fell asleep.

Zandyrr smiled and watched Silver sleep. He checked his watch to see that it was midnight. Once more, he fell asleep some time after.

Zandyrr stood up right away when he heard a loud honk, his reflexes causing him pulling out his scythe. He looked around to see how silly he looked. They were still in the alleyway.

Zandyrr pulled his book out to see if it would give him a challenge with his broken wing. Just one death. It would be in a few hours. "Damnit," he said. He clenched the book.
