Zandyrr was on his break, sitting ontop of the Empire State Building and watching the clouds roll by. 'So many more souls to collect...' he thought. He ran his hair through his dark hair. He was used to this thing by now. He began to enjoy his job alot more. He glanced at his watch, checking how much more time he had. 'Thirty more minutes' he thought.

(Please tell me if you're interested in the role play through an OOC before replying.)

Silver walked on the streets of New York. Something caught up her attention. She looked up to the Empire State Building. How strange... She tought. Anyways... she tought before walking away from there. She had been there for one week and she was still learning from the humans. She stopped at central park and looked around her.

Zandyrr felt something. It was a strange presence. It seemed as if he should have been weary of it, yet wasn't actually worried at all. He looked down at where it seemed to be coming from. 'Must be nothing' he thought. He checked his watch once more to see that his break was over. Then he heard a racket from the street below him. He smirked and thought 'Another soul'. He swooped down from his spot and landed beside a large mess of cars. He wasn't worried about the mortals, as he knew they could not see him. Some had swerved and some had been damaged. There was one in the middle that had been completely wrecked. He knelt beside a body that was hanging out of a door. It was beaten up and bruised.

Silver looked up at herself in the water. Brown/Dark long hair... Green eyes... She smiled. I did not changed at all... she tought. She walked back somewhere and saw an accident. She gasped as she felt something strange and saw the demon.

The presence had become stronger. He didn't like how indecisive it had made him. Now wasn't the time to pay attention to it, though. Deaths had a tendency to be on tight schedules. He put his hand on the body's forehead, muttering some vowels and unknown words. He could see an essence part from the body. Once he was sure he had finished collecting the soul, he turned around to see where this presence was coming from. She had a certain aura coming off of her that he had never seen. He had heard of her kind before. Fallen angels. Some had been recruited by the leaders of the underworld to collect different kinds of souls and carry out different tasks. Thing was, he had never seen one before. He walked towards her and stopped beside her. He asked, "Have you ever seen a soul collection take place?"

"No..." she said. She was not very sure of what he was talking about. Demons always had this manners that she never understood. She looked around her. She felt uncomfortable near that being the demon was.

Zandyrr knew that it was his job to inform her of the concept. "Would you like for me to explain?" he asked. It was complicated. Everything involving life and death seemed to be complicated.

"Why not?" she said. "It looks complicated somehow," she said. "Am I wrong?" she asked with her natural soft voice. Silver seriously never heard about any of these things.

Zandyrr chuckled lightly. "I was just as confused. You fit right in, asking that question." He checked his watch. The next death would be in another hour. He had time. He would have to walk there, though. "I'll explain on the way. Sound good?" he asked, looking over at her. She was actually kind of cute. Her green eyes seemed to be filled with innocence. He wondered how she had ended up here.

She nodded and smiled. "Of course," she said. "On the way for what?" she asked. Silver had always been like that, asking questions.

Zandyrr smiled at the girl. He had already grown a liking for her curiosity. "On the way to collect another soul in an hour. It's in central park. I'm not sure how the death will take place, but I'll have to be ready for anything there." He looked back, hearing police sirens and ambulances. "What's your name?" he asked.

"Silver," she said. She putted her head down as she head the sirens. "I can't endure this sounds..." she said like to herself. "Oh and... You will not mind if I ask you your name right?" she asked.

Zandyrr smiled. "Not at all. My name is Zandyrr," he said. He turned around and saw policemen making a barrier line and people rushing around ambulances. "Yes, we'd better leave now," he said, walking along the sidewalk toward central park.

She followed him. She was keeping her head down and she was not saying anything, what is extremely rare for her. She was lost in her toughts.

Zandyrr had already begun explaining the whole process from life to death to Silver. He then looked over and noticed Silver had been keeping her head down on the walk. She seemed a lot more quiet now. "Is something wrong?" he asked.

She looked back at him. "Oh... No, I was lost in my toughts... Sorry..." she explained. She continued walking.

Zandyrr considered this. He decided to let her wander in her thoughts. He was quiet the rest of the way to central park. He checked his watch to see that they had fifteen minutes left. He pulled his book from his inside jacket pocket to go over the information they had about this death. The book contained the information gathered about the schedule for today. Some information wasn't in it, though. So he had to use his senses, mostly. "Here we are," he said. He didn't know who was going to die, so far.

"Here we are for what?" she asked, her curiosity had camed back. She was trying to understand but she was seriously loosing her time.

Zandyrr smiled once more, closing his book. "For the soul, of course. It seems this one will be murdered without even seeing it coming." he noted. He looked around to see where the person could be. The only one around was a little boy sitting against a tree.

"Oh... Okay..." she said. She was still not understanding but mabye she would after... Could it be this little kid? she asked herself.

Zandyrr saw that she seemed confused. He thought about explaining, but then decided that she would see soon. Zandyrr looked up to see a grown man, maybe twenty- eight, hiding in the tree. Ten minutes later, the death had come just in time. The man leaped from the tree with a knife and slit the boy's throat. He ran off out of the park.

Silver looked at this. She remained motionless for some time. He is just... Dead? she tought to herself. She looked scared. This is awfull, she tought.

Zandyrr just watched this until the man was out of sight. He walked to the little boy and knelt down beside him. He put his hand on his forehead, repeating the incantation from before. He looked over to see that Silver had been watching this, seemingly scared. He remembered the first time he collected a soul. Blood everywhere. He wanted to interfere, but knew that he could not. He would be sentenced to a painful death if he did. He had learned to accept the cruel world. He stood up from where he was kneeling. He figured he could further teach her later. It took him some time to take it all in as well.

"This is... So awfull." Silver said. Pain and death are everywhere... I just can't flee them... she tought. Her hands started shaking.

Zandyrr walked over to Silver. He actually wasn't sure what to do, honestly. He had never taught someone like this. He decided to let it pass. It wouldn't make it any better to say anything, he figured. He remained silent.
