Realistic or Modern Truth or Dare?

At a large party, a group of teens decide to play truth or dare. There are the obvious dares, like kiss the cutest person in the room or prank call the school principal. And there are the obvious truths, like who a person likes or if they've ever done drugs. But what happens when the dares get out of control?

Liana walked to the party with her friend, Max, "This is going to be so much fun!" She exclaimed to her quiet friend. She was excited he decided to come with her, for he wasn't the most talkative person. Liana hoped this would help him crack out of his shell. She was excited about the party herself too, she had heard about it around town and decided to go, Li was a social butterfly, it was hard not to like her she loved to make people happy and tell jokes. Li could tell that his party was going to be a good time.

Max pulled down on the hem of his long sleeve, covering his hands down to the middle of his palms. He was not nearly so enthralled by the idea of 'partying' with people around his age, but he knew it would be a good experience and possibly inch him closer to coming out of his shell a little bit. He walked a little bit behind and to the side of Liana, watching as the energetic girl looked all around the party before glancing back at him expectantly. "Yeah. Looks great." he replied, trying to see just how many people were there.

In preparation for the party Will took a shower and put on some casual clothes. He walked outside and got into his car, which was a gray 2014 subaru legacy. He had not been to many parties before and the thought of going to another enthralled him. He drove for about 5 minutes before arriving at the party. Seeing that there were already a few people there he got out of his car and walked into the house it was being hosted at.

"Come on Em! Ya ready?" Jason's southern accent yelled to his younger sister "Coming!" Emily yelled back as admired the dress that her mother bought her. It was simple but nice. Emily loved it. Emily quickly grabbed her clutch and raced out her room and outside her house. There waiting was her older brother, Jack. He was there eating a apple messily "C'mon" Jack muttered and Emily obeyed. She went over and hopped into his rusty truck. Emily finally got to the party and she was nervous. "Thanks" Emily said and Jack drove off. Emily entered the house and butterflies formed in her stomach. Emily looked around with a confused look on her face. Emily walked backwards and bumped into someone. Emily squeaked and turned around with a surprise look on her face. It was Liana and Max "I'm so sorry!" Emily began to speak with a scared look on her face "I'm Emily" She said softly

Lyric pulled up to the party,her friend,Isabella,dropping her off. "Chow baby." She called out to Lyric. "Bye." She said before walking into the party. She was wearing a black crop top,high waisted shorts with a belt,and a tan cardigan to go over it,incase it got chilly in the morning hours.


She walked into the house,running a hand through her hair,a joint already pressed to her plump pink lips. She looked around the room through her long lashes,recognizing Liana,Max,and Emily. She walked over and attempted to socialize.


"Hey guys,what's up?" She asked them

Liana sighed at Max, "C'mon! It'll be fun!" She said before Emily bumped into the two teens, Li turned around to face the girl that had bumped into her, she noticed that she didn't really know her, "Oh!" She exclaimed, "It's fine! I'm Liana by the way, but you can call me Li." She then turned towards Lyric, "Oh, hey Lyric!" she said and smiled.

Max stood further behind Liana to hide, despite the fact that he was quite a bit taller than she was. There were suddenly a group of people around them. He rubbed his nose and glanced away, to the side and toward the floor. "Max" he answered monosyllabically. Between the people animatedly chatting and a few kids dancing or drinking unknown things out of plastic cups, he was already beginning to feel antsy.

Lyric smiled a little at Liana. "It's been a while since I last seen you." She said. Lyric had been with Isabella in Spain for the last month,only getting back yesterday just for the party.


"I missed you,crazy chick." She said laughing lightly then looking at the others. "This party is already lit." She said,smirking lightly

Emily just stood there awkwardly. Since she just started school yesterday this was a massive step from homeschooling. Emily just stood next to the guy named Max "So..." She murmured to Max. To be honest, Emily was very excited about this party. She was suppose to be here with her older brother but it seem as if he ditched her "Bastard" Emily thought to herself silently "So what now?" She asked everyone, not sure if they heard her

Li smiled at Lyric, then turned back to Emily, "Well, I'm not really asure, do you guys wanna play truth or dare?" She laughed excitedly and looked around the group of people, hoping one of them would say yes. Liana loved party games as much as she loved talking, and that was a lot.

"I would love to play truth or dare." Lyric said,in a challenging tone. It was probably one of her favorite party games,aside from spin the bottle and 7 minutes in heaven. What? She's 17...she's a horny teen.





"So..are there any specific rules in this game?" She asked

"Shouldn't we get more people first..?" he spoke quietly, glancing at their four person group. The three girls seemed more excited at the choice in game than him, and he figured finding some more people, and not being the only guy in the game, would both be good plans.


He had never played truth or dare, but the game seemed pretty self-explanatory.

"Yea," Li turned towards Max, "I guess that would be a good idea." Liana was hoping that Max would feel more comfortable as the party went on, for he did seem a bit, well, uncomfortable.

Carter shuddered, the sight of so many people in one house was making him feel uneasy. He didn't like crowds, not the slightest bit, but one of his friends had insisted he come to the party and wouldn't take no for an answer. What pissed the male off even more was the fact that upon arrival, his "friend" had disappeared from his side and he was left alone. Carter had a look of discontent as he tried to steer his way around the groups of obviously drunk teenagers, attempting to avoid contact as much as possible.

His eyes fell on the familiar face of a ginger teenage boy, looking almost as out of place as he was. A small smile found it's way to his face as he brought up his half hidden hand, waving Carter over. It would be nice to have someone else he knew. He wasn't sure if he'd been seen, but he didn't want to leave Liana's side either.

Blair arrived a tad later than the others... But it would be alright. She walked in with an aquamarine sweater, light jeans and brown combat boots, her brown/reddish hair left down and straight. She tugged on the hem of her shirt, looking around. She wasn't used to so many people...and this loud music irritated her. She was invited by Liana... convinced after being asked over a million times. Swallowing thickly, she made her way through the crowd as if she wasn't even there, squeezing through places and such. She couldn't find Liana... Why was it so hard? Of course, because Blair has the best of luck.

Carter had taken notice of the not so subtle wave that seemed to be directed his way, but for good measures he turned around slightly and made sure no one had been behind him at the time. Post confirmation that the wave had been for him, the male's mood seemed to brighten, evident when the scowl that had been on his face just moments before was then replaced by a small but warm smile. He made his way towards Max, putting up a single hand as a form of greeting.

Drake ran up the street.He was late.Very late.He didn't mean to be late though,he just lost track of time or something like that..Anyway,he was late.Sometimes he could be quite forgetful.But,other times,he would have a good memory.He just kept running,and eventually he reached the party.He walked in quietly,and just blended into the crowd.He looked around for someone he knew.

"I'm just going to get a drink. I'm quite thirsty" Emily said to the group then left in a rush. Emily began searching for a bar or something to drink "Do you know where the kitchen is?" Emily repeatedly asked but failed with an answer. Music blaring throughout the house, It was one of the popular girl's house and she went full out with a DJ on stage and everything. Emily continued to search until she bumped into someone again. Emily turned around and blushed bright pink "I'm sorry!" Emily squeaked

Drake felt someone bump into him. "Hm?No,it's fine.I'm ok." He said and smiled at her. "Wait..Have I met you somewhere before?You look familiar.." He said and looked at her. "I'm Drake by the way" He said and put out his hand.

Liana looked around the party to see Blair running around looking a bit confused, "Blair!" Li called to her friend and waved her hand.

Melanie moved around a couple making out on a couch and she mentally gagged, making her way through the almost packed party to get to the main bar. She was downed in a maroon off the shoulder crop top to show off a good amount of skin for the night, skinny black jeans, combat boots, a casual beanie, and straightened hair. She had spoken to the girl who owned the house, at school, apparently her parents were out of town. Oh well. Melanie managed to get where she wanted and she smirked at the array of drinks before her. "Just one won't kill me....I'm still an aussie, and Aussie rules."

It didn't take long for Melanie to have her beer, and not very long after that to remember about Carter. "Oh, Shia LaBeouf, I left him stranded," she hissed at herself. Melanie had been quite able to persuade Carter into joining her to the party for a good night out, god knew they both deserved it, and leaving him alone would not look good on her report, intentional or not..... She passed the main dance area again, still enjoying the rave music, also catching sight of one or two familiar faces, and was now on the hunt for one of her best friends.

Seeing that Liana's attention was now elsewhere, Max moved a bit closer to Carter. "The girls want to play truth or dare." though his eyes stayed steady, the discomfort he felt was clear. He brought his hand up to the back of his head, scratching there nervously. "I...haven't played, but LiLi wants me to open up more and it isn't a bad idea." Max mumbled.

Adam sat on the sofa alone, slightly drunk. He had a red solo cup in his hand but with only a mouth full of beer left in it. He took the last swig and stood up rather quickly. He swayed but caught his balance by grabbing on to the arm of the sofa. He pushed off and stumbled slightly towards the beer keg.
