Lily nodded, she couldn’t disagree when Bright commented on people not believing she was a doctor. “That’s impressive...” she murmured, tapping her pencil against her notebook. When Bright told her her name was ‘unique and innocent’ she looked a little confused. “I thought it was a common name?” She tilted her head, maybe she was wrong, she had been virtually isolated for a large portion of her life. When she noticed Bright watching the surrounding nature, she did a double take, she didn’t say anything though, she didn’t know what she would say anyways.
"Well if it was common, I'd hear it about a dozen times by now. I've only read such a names on books or roleplay forums." Bright mentioned before looking back at Lily. "Anyway, just a curiosity question, what do you think about nature?" She asked before she saw a bird eat a butterfly. She didn't seem phased by it, as if she's seen something like that dozens and dozens of times before.

Lily’s minuscule knowledge of the internet failed her when it came to figuring out what a roleplay forum was. She didn’t bother to ask, as it probably wasn’t important. “Nature?” She moved onto the next question. “I grew up around it, so it’s kind of similar to home I guess?” Despite that, when she saw the bird eat the butterfly, she flinched. “Why do you ask?” She realized most of her sentences were ending like questions, but she didn’t say anything about it just yet. If it got annoying, it got annoying. Bright could ask her to leave at any time and she probably would.

"For some reason to me..." Bright started. "...It just gets pretty old. Sometimes it's refreshing to see every once in awhile but I've seen the same scenes many times to know what happens next and there's just nothing new to me." She shrugged before they reached the food hall and Bright opened the door for Lily. "Maybe it's just getting bland for me. But oh well, I've not seen nature at its finest yet. I hope I won't so I can't understand its true beauty to be tired of it." Once they were both inside, she looked at the menu on the walls for what food they were serving. "So what would you like to eat, Lily? They got bacon, eggs, sausages and... Cereal. A pretty basic menu, I suppose."

Lily looked at her. Bright looked a little older, but not that old. “How long have you been around?” She asked in a soft voice. She had lived in the woods for almost 14 years of her life and she still found things that interested her. She looked at the menu and seemed to ponder it. “I’ve only had lunch from here once,” she admitted, her small appetite not really helping her decide. “I guess I’ll get some eggs?” She looked over at Bright, still a little awkward.

Responding to the first question, Bright answered bluntly. "It may seem unbelieveable, but years no longer apply to me anymore. I'd have to say a few human's lifetimes. Plus lifetimes I had as animals. To be blunt, I've been reincarnation involuntarily due to a certain object in my possession." Bright then nodded at Lily's selection and got in line, ready to pay for the both of them. "Only eggs? A few sausages would go well with those eggs." Bright suggested.

Lily stared for a moment, before something clicked into place. “Oh!” She made a small noise. Despite whatever clicked together in her brain, she still didn’t know what to say. However, she didn’t see it as too out of the ordinary. She found it a little interesting actually. It felt rude to pry, maybe she could ask later, but now wasn’t really the time. At Bright’s suggestion, Lily seemed confused, she only nodded slowly, understanding what she was getting at. “Yeah...I’ll take that,” she said in a small voice, holding out a bit of money towards Bright.

Bright shook her head when Lily gave her money. "No need. I'm treating you, remember?" Bright said with a smile and paid for the both of them once they got to the front. Also, when they received their plates, Bright held both of them quite skillfully, almost like an experienced waitress. She then found a table for the both of them to sit at and eat. Once at the table, Bright gave Lily her plate which had eggs and a few small sausages. Bright was having both sunny side up and scrambled eggs, with a few slices of bacon and five small sausages. Bright then realized they had nothing to drink. She looked at Lily and asked her what she wanted. "Oh yeah, want do you want to drink?"

Lily frowned. The one time she actually ordered from the cafeteria she wasn’t allowed to pay. She felt bad about it to say the least. She wanted to hold her own plate, but seeing how Bright carried both of them with skill that she definitely lacked, she backed off. When she sat down, she looked at the food, taking incredibly small bites of it. When she was asked about a drink, she shook her head. “Let me take care of that much.” She said, opening her notebook and pulling out a water bottle filled with orange juice, it was still cold, and looked fresh. “Do you want anything?” She asked, straightening up and taking a small sip.

Bright looked in surprise and awe. So this one can just summon anything from a drawing in her note book? She wondered what else she could yank out of it. When she was asked what she'd like to drink, she supposed she can't refuse an offer. "Well... Some warm, light brown coffee would be nice, please." Bright said, smiling a bit guilty doubting the abilities of the note book and getting anything from it, let alone a very specific drink.

“Okay!” Lily opened her notebook, taking a pencil to it and drawing as fast as she could. The drawing was done in a minute, as she set it back down, she pulled out a coffee mug shakily, as if trying not to spill any of it. She set it down across from Bright, it was just as she had ordered. “Here!” She smiled, closing her notebook and tucking it away behind her. She was sipping her orange juice again, anxiously waiting for Bright’s response.

“Oh ok” Evan nodded at rin’s answer the next question had him laugh a little “well no just me like I said I’m kinda abnormal for a magic eating demon since I have magic.... my parents don’t they just eat magic... and where kinda scared of the spell theif.... so like it’s not a family thing if it was I’d probably have way better control of it...”

Bright blinked before taking the mug in her hands. It was indeed warm, just the way she liked it. She then took a sip before setting it back down with a satisfied look. "Noice." She said before looking at Lily, smiling. "Thank you."

Rin’s POV x2

Both Rins nodded when Evan explained that, though Tall Rin seemed to still be a little confused. “So your parents eat magic, but you can eat magic and then use the magic?” He asked, just trying to elaborate. Short Rin had finished with the makeup, and she was now starting on the hair extensions. While yesterday Rin had just clipped them in, Short Rin was taking more care to make sure they would stay there, she was humming softly, clearly focused.

Lily nodded, relaxing once Bright was satisfied with the coffee. “Thank you,” she murmured, putting her notebook away. After a few moments, she seemed to have a question come to her. It seemed like she could maybe hold it in, but the lack of a speech filter in her mind made her open her mouth and say it. “So you’re immortal?” She asked, before realizing how rude it could be. She bowed her head, quickly trying to apologize “SorryIwasn’tthinkingandthewordsjustcameoutpleasedonthateme-“

When Bright heard Lily ask if she was immortal, she wasn't offended by it. Of course, she had to cut her off by reaching over and poked Lily's forehead. "Boop." Once Lily was silent, she took a deep breath and exhaled, still maintaining her smile. "In a way, yes. I am immortal. As long as my soul is bound to the amulet I wear and some unfortunate individual picks it up after I die, my continuous cycle of dying and reincarnation will continue. Which is what I fear, who the next individual I'll overtake." At this point, her smile seemed more sad and broken. It was obvious enough that Bright had gone through this process many times before, but the thought of how many lives that were taken by him and where would their soul be after the amulet claims their body for Bright.

When Bright touched her forehead, she froze, like the way a cat does when you place something near or around its face. That had silenced her long enough for her to calm down and actually become silent. As she listened, the permanent smile on her face kind of drooped. “That’s...sadder then I expected.” She admitted, looking down at her lap. She hated the awkwardness that had settled down on her, hiding her eyes with her hair. She couldn’t find anything to say now. Her body was shaking in a way that would make someone think she was crying, while in reality it was just her trying to process what she had just been told, while at the same time maybe also kind of holding back tears. “This isn’t your time to cry!” Ene hissed from the bag, knowing exactly what was going on, despite seeming not being able to see what was happening. she had been trying to stay hidden, but she couldn’t just listen to Lily’s innocent childlike behavior and not say anything for a certain amount of time.

"It's fine really." Bright said before lifting Lily's head up by cupping her chin. Bright was seen smiling again, and it was genuine at that. It's the type of smile that said 'I am okay.' "Knowing I still have emotions means I'm still human. As long as I remain human, I can be satisfied with that." She said before sitting back down and began eating her breakfast while drinking her coffee.

Lily was caught off guard again by the sudden touching of her face. She stared at Bright, unsure of whether she should smile back or not. She could only nod, looking down at her breakfast. Her appetite was almost completely gone now, but she forced herself through it. Bright had bought it after all, it would probably be rude just to waste it. Now she really didn’t know what to say, the scars on her back were burning from the awkwardness, as if there were a million eyes on them.

When Bright finished eating, she leaned back in her chair and exhaled. "Ahh, that was good." She then looked at Lily which, she noticed there was a voice coming from her bag which she was curious about. However, she didn't want to ask about it since it might be too personal. She only looked at her empty plate and continued drinking her coffee, trying to finish it before it becomes cold.

Lily forced down the last bite. Despite not having an appetite, she had to admit that it was pretty good. It made her a little happier. She jumped when her phone vibrated, ignoring it the first time. However, when it continued, she had to pick it up and look at the screen, fumbling with the phone when the vibrating suddenly stopped. “I like to see from time to time,” Ene muttered. She looked at Lily, to see that she was staring at her. Ene tilted her head for a second, before realizing that she had forgot to change into ‘Nen’. “Shit.” Lily stared at her, unable to process how Ene was still in front of her, forgetting about Bright for a second. “I thought you died.” Ene blinked. “I thought we discussed that I can’t die, only Endelyn can, and she did.” Ene seemed a little proud of herself, but frowned when she was greeted with darkness. Lily had slammed the phone down on the table, the color draining from her face, still trying to smile and ignore what she had seen.

Bright looked up and saw Lily. She knew something was up with her phone. Seems like some friendship issues. "Are you okay?" Bright asked, concerned about Lily's health.

“Y-Yeah...I’m fine...” Lily looked like she was reliving something. She slipped over th phone, avoiding eye contract as Ene poked the glass. “She’s not fine.” she said, looking up and at who was currently across from them. Lily was still fighting ghost in her mind, shaking a little.

Bright saw that Lily was going through emotional pain and... Because of his past life experiences, he knew things that were not meant for the public eye and had to be contained. He knew some easy fixes for Lily that could ease her emotional pain quickly. One of them was a sentient orange slime which makes anyone it touches experience euphoria as well as the slime being overly friendly, known as 'the tickle monster.' But abusing such knowledge is out of the question. She got up and moved her chair next to Lily, so she could offer her a shoulder rub and some comfort. "There there... Everything will be okay. Just take a deep breath, and clear your mind of any worries or stresses you may have. I know we've only met just today, but I'm here to help."

"well sort of... fair as I know... I generate a volume of magic inside myself so far its been enough to feed me and keep the spell thief around since its kinda the physical manifestation off like the raw magic, at least that what I know, so... basically the spell thief tries to take someone else magic, since well I'm already full" he made air quotes to emphasizes his point "I need to send it somewhere... so basically I have to sort of throw up the magic... at least i think that's how it works, no ones really explained it to me at all, but ill give you an example.... so lets stay the spell thief takes you... splitting thing you would like probably be forced together again and then i would split instead... well that's how iv seen it work anyway"

Rin’s POV x2

Tall Rin nodded. “That makes sense. Are victims left without their power?” He asked, as if he was mentally taking notes. While Small Rin was essentially the right part of Rin’s brain, Tall Rin was the left, meaning that he was a little more used to overthinking and so on. He wasn’t asking because he wanted a way to defend himself, he was asking just out of sheer curiosity, that didn’t hurt, right?

Lily’s POV

Lily didn’t know what to say. The images were still fresh in her mind. When Bright offered to listen, she wasn’t sure if she could force the words out. She was quiet for a long time, Ene returned this silence, waiting to see what Lily would say. “She was dead. I saw them both die.” As soon as the words were out, she could see the scene clearly all over again. “Yet now she’s back? She was the one that didn’t die?” Only vague fragments came out, as if she was still restraining herself from saying anything mean. Fragments about about Endelyn’s body, about Ene. Eventually she just broke down, thrusting her face into her hands. “It-It’s...” she took a long hard breath in, getting the hiccups as she did so. “It’s stupid, right?”

Bright just continued to comfort her. She began patting Lily's head as she spoke. "This world is filled with things the average eye does not see, yet we see them on a regular basis. During my lifetimes, anything is possible. Just by slim chances and otherworldly phenomenons. Perhaps it's... Something else that we can't understand, is what you've witnessed?" Bright said, sharing her his actual experience in his past line of work. It was a weird one, in which none of it should be seen in the public eye.
