A few days had passed, and now Lily was sitting at the end of her bed, watching as Ene played with a few images on her computer. In front of them, there were two dresses, one was long, and the other was short, coming down to a little above Lily's knees. Lily was uncomfortable with this to say the least. She had lived most of her life wearing only long skirts and shirts with long sleeves. Despite her continued refusal, Ene had forced her to make the dress anyway. Ene was now trying to get her to look at more dresses, while Lily sat there, trying to read a book.
"Why are you so excited about this?" Lily looked up at her, placing her hand on the shorter dress and watching as it vanished.
"I grew up in New York City. I was surrounded by dresses." Ene almost flinched as Lily gave her a weird look. She quickly remembered she was still 'Nen' and looked away.
Lily shrugged, moving into her wheelchair. "I'm going to wear this." She said, moving the dress on her bed. Ene looked sad for a moment, but she gave up. She watched as Lily left for her classes, jumping through a few computers to the student council room, glancing around to see who was in there. Meanwhile, Lily started to make her way to her classes, unsure of what else she could do. Sure, the dance was soon, but she wanted to ignore the feeling of dread in her stomach that kept building up.
