Tree of Souls

[Ricia]

The travel to the new town took a week or so. Jubei learned about her companions. Gambet use to be a Lord's son. He decided he wanted to join the guard then be a lazy snob. He meet Rivet in a chase for thievery and befriended him instead of turning him in. It was a mutrial relatioship of helping each other for a few years before Gambet decied they should try traveling and bouting hunting. So Gambet and Rivet were childhood friends. Mia talked with Jubei on occasion and she showed a bit more emotion when Jubei did.


The most fun was when they all enjoyed dance at night around a fire.

Jubei smiled and laughed the travel was easy on her she was having alot of fun. She talked and was gettng bolder by the day she danced and sang a bit for the boys though it did make her emberrassed of her form. She could not wait to get back to weight. She told stories of her old msters funny failed parties and emeberrassing funny stories.

 

[Ricia]

Eventually they made it to down.


"There is a huge river on the other side of this town. I hear there is a heavy toll to cross it.. so we might want to be sparing and be doubly sure we catch out guy here." Gambet told them.


"Yeah i'll find him." Rivet assured them.

 

[InsaneTruth]

"Why.. is there a toll?" Jubei asked

 

[Ricia]

"Because its an easy way to make money for the greedy lord here no doubt." Rivet said.

 

[InsaneTruth]

"How aweful... to have to pay just to cross a bridge," she said softly

 

[Ricia]

"That's the world for you hun." Gambet said with a sigh.


"Yep. Lets go get a inn." Rivet said.

 

[InsaneTruth]

"Ok," Jubei said softly she looked to Mia "Its sad the world is so harsh... tolls to go places... slavery... and so many other things... but theres alot of good to counter it all right?"

 

[Ricia]

"Perhaps. Sometimes I don't know if there is really a good an evil. Those are just name on something." Mia told them.


"Yeah.. ok.." Rivet said rolling his eyes.

 

[InsaneTruth]

"well... will find out what I think one day," Jubei smiled "but for now I'm just really luky and hppy,"

 

[Ricia]

"Well on that note. Let's go find an inn Jubei. We'll leave Rivet to go do what he has to do." Ribet got of his horse and handed the rein to Gambet. Letting him take it. Rivet waved bye before leaving.

 

[InsaneTruth]

Jubei nodded "Ok, good luck," she wished Rivet and went to Gambit's side.

 

[Ricia]

Gmabet lead Rivet's horse with Jubei still on it so she didn't have to stear. They eventually found an inn called the Foggy Forest. Which was fitting since they were in the middle of one. "Stable these guys will ya?" Gambet told the stable boy. He grabbed all their stuff and even passed some off to Jubei to carry.

Jubei had no problems carrying all she could she liked feeling helpful. "Foggy... forest," she read the sign "kinda a fitting name," she giggled

 

[Ricia]

Gambet grinned, "I agree. Though I think we might need a bit more fog."

 

[InsaneTruth]

"How do we get more?" Jubei asked

 

[Ricia]

"What? Fog?" Gambet asked, "Uh.. I don't know... mother nature?" He chuckled.

 

[InsaneTruth]

Jubei wondered who that was she heard the woman called on alot but she never met a mother nature.

 

[Ricia]

Gambet went to the bartender and ordered a room, where they went up to get settled. "Ah.. whos turn is it for the bed. Either yours or mine."

 

[InsaneTruth]

"Go ahead," Jubei said "I like the floor," she smiled putting the things down and in proper places.

 

[Ricia]

"Alright. If you insist." Gambet said, though he did roll around and lay on the bed. "Ahh... I think I'm going to take a nap... you can take a few silver an explore the town if you want." Gambet told Jubei.


Mia perked up some at the thought of spending a bit of alone time with her master.

 

[InsaneTruth]

"Ok," Jubei said though she'd not spend any coin if she didn't have to. "Lets go see the town Mia!"

 

[Ricia]

Mia smiled and got up, "Ok!" She said a bit excited. She followed Jubei out of the Inn.

 

[InsaneTruth]

Jubei smiled "Its been a while since we've been away from the boys huh?" she asked Mia

 

[Ricia]

"Yes. It makes me a bit excited. What do you wish to do master?" Mia asked Jubei. "Will you teach me to dance a bit more... or should I teach you how to write a bit more?"
