He kept running till he was stopped. Jubei would recognize the man was the leather armored one who they saw two days ago, "Let that child go."
Jubei of course got a knife held against her throat. Behind them the guy in the armor showed up. "Halt! You have no chance!"

"Now let her go.." The man in the armor said.
"Both of you let me go or this girl will get it!" The man shouted.
Though a moment later Mia zipped past the man in his white metaled armor and kicked the man with the knife in the head. There was the distinct sounds of his skull cracking. Jubei was suddenly dropped along with the knife. The man hit the ground with a heavy thud, his skull partially knocked into his head. "Don't look master." Mia said softly. "Come this way." She tried to get Jubei to walk away.
"Both of you let me go or this girl will get it!" The man shouted.

"Ah yes.." The man coughed a bit, "Right. We can do that... Rivet, go take care of that man. I'll meet you back at the inn." He looked at Jubei again, "My name is Gambet. That is my companion Rivet. Come this way... we'll get you some proper clothing.. looks like your child has more clothing then you. Much nicer too." He pointed out.

Jubei held Mia mostly for comfort and was content to do so she was just scared half out of her life she didn't dare star at the body. "ok... thank you" she didn't even correct him on Mia not being her child

Jubei looked at him "Ok... thank you," she said "Lets look Mia," she told the galvent. She went to look at breeches and shirts to wear when traveling and undergarments too. Then she'd look for a dress to dance in both big so she could fill out and not need new ones.

Mia pointed out ones she thought looked pretty, but the galvent was attracted to bland nature like colors over bright vibrent ones.

Jubei got a neutral dress because with her so small it would be the best to hide it. The pants were drown and the shirt was a light green like her eyes. the undergarments were plain Jubei did not have extravagant taste either.
