Travers Crofton, is an ambitious, calculating, and logical man with a near-eidetic memory, and a near obsession for perfection. Traits which have served him well in his role as the Commander of Imperial Intelligence.
Bio:
“Travers Crofton” or Cypher Three was born in the Galactic Outer Rim, and grew up on the streets, where he survived by using wits and the occasional burst of brutal violence. Later in life, he managed to crawl his way to the head of a local gang, the “Black Drifters” by arranging for the former leader to be killed by a rival gang.
While attempting to expand his operations to Coruscant, Travers was noticed by Imperial Intelligence and caught after an intense firefight in a busy spaceport. After Intelligence went over his file he was given a simple choice. Serve or Die. Needless to say, Travers chose to serve. He rapidly rose up the ranks in Imperial Intelligence due to his memory and drive
Travers inherited the command of Imperial Intelligence after Lord Vader “removed” his predecessor for failing to prevent the destruction of the first death star. Travers had proceeded to reorganize the entire department of Intelligence. Travers later gained Lord Vader’s favor by keeping him updated on the general whereabouts of his son Luke. Travers later cashed in this favor, by asking to be trained to combat force users, seeing the Jedi as a persistent threat and refusing to be completely helpless against them. After undergoing brutal training from Lord Vader, Travers is able to effectively combat force-users by using specifically designed chemicals delivered by grenades or darts to disrupt their concentration, and can briefly fight a jedi or sith in single combat.
Weapons:
Travers utilizes a customized T21-ZX Longarm blaster as his weapon of choice, due to its high accuracy and exceptional cooling system. He also carries a number of vibroknifes, and a Q11-34 Handheld blaster as backup. In addition, he has access to a number of experimental weapons, such as a wrist-mounted poisoned dart launcher, plasma grenades, a portable shield generator that creates a force field when dropped, and carbon nanotube armor capable of withstanding a lightsaber strike.
