I was wondering if anyone would like to do an rp with me, based in an mental institution. Of course this would be the first year for the mental institution and this would be a trial and error type thing, where they would be accepting very few patients- only ones that they think have the most severe mental illnesses . Using them as guinea pigs for the treatments they are going to use. And some of the patients try to escape, but to no avail. And it seems that this institution is inescapable. So besides enduring the treatments and torture, the patients try to find away to escape...


If anyone is interested, I'll give more information about the mental institution as well as what treatments are going to be used. And if anyone joins, if they have any suggestions for treatments, don't be afraid to suggest them!
 
Personally, I'd prefer 1x1, but I'm fine with a group roleplay as well. I usually go for 1x1's because everyone always tends to go too fast in groups and leave me behind. So, if we do a group roleplay, could we possibly keep it small? But if not, we could settle down on 1x1. c:
 
I think it would be best if we do 1x1 I was hoping you would say that xD I don't like groups that well either, because the same thing happens with me too. But before we begin, so we don't do the same type of mental illness, I am going to do a character with DID (Dissociative identity disorder) a.k.a. multiple personality disorder.


Here are the treatments that will be given since it will just be us:

  • Electro shock treatment
  • Ice Baths
  • Psychotherapy
  • Sedatives & Tranquilizers
  • Solitary confinement in a sound-proofed cell.
  • lobotomy- "a punishment"
  • Hypnotism
  • Art Therapy
  • Anti- psychotics and Anti-depressants


Those are all the treatments I can come up with, if you have any ideas for more, don't be afraid to suggest them. Eventually I will come up with more through out the rp.
 
Alright, that's good haha. I'm not sure what my character will have just yet, I'm researching a few right now though. Also, you have a preference to play a guy or a girl? I'm fine with either, though I usually am better at playing the guy, lol. I don' know if I'll be able to come up with 'treatments', sorry xD
 
lol well I usually play as males, but for this I shall play a female, I need more practice at playing them. And playing a guy is perfectly fine. I was going to ask you if you could. And I will be taking care of the NPCs. lol that is why it took me so long to reply I was researching treatments and DID.
 
Ah, okay. x3 That sounds good to me. And how old will they be? Under eighteen? Or older? Sorry if I ask too many questions, I just like to know what I'm doing. xD


Alright, I guess my character is gonna have Anterograde Amnesia. Here's the definition: Anterograde amnesia is a loss of the ability to create new memories after the event that caused the amnesia, leading to a partial or complete inability to recall the recent past, while long-term memories from before the event remain intact. Basically, he struggles to remember anything after the 'incident'. I'll tell you what happened to him in his History that caused this. c:
 
Would you guys mind adding another person a 1x1x1? If not I understand. Love the idea though.

lol you're not asking too many questions. Age wise it can range from 17-23. and alexisjade sure you can join, it's ok with me. Is it ok with you Alivia ? 
oh and your mental illness is good too. xD It can be basically any mental illness.

For plot twist a nurse or staff that tries to help patients escape, whatever you want im willing to play.
 
lol xD If you wanted you could make multiple illnesses xD . So I guess I should give more info about the institution....

St. Agatha's Mental Hospital, it has just become a 'new' mental institution. t had been built in 1952 as a private mental hospital of St. Margret's Mental Hospital . About a year after starting out as this hospital, one of the patients set fire to it, because they couldn't take anymore torture and also wanted to commit suicide. Which the patient succeeded in. So they had to shut it down. A mysterious figure bought the building and decided to rebuild the entire inside. Once rebuilt, they had opened it as another mental hospital. As I said at the beginning, this will be the first time St. Agathas will be opeing it's doors and accepting very few patients. 
Male or female, it doesn't really matter. And we can have a nurse, who is a NPC try and help the escape. 
Oh and just to let you guys know, if you a have any more questions before I create the rp, feel free to ask. xD Oh and it may take me a little to create it because I need to clean my room. 
So how should the turns go? Since this will be turn based.
 
lol since I like to lead, I will make the first post, then it should go you and then alexisjade. I am in the process of making up a character.
