Fun facts:
Paraxons: These beings are car formed based Cybertronians and have doorwings on their backs. (Ex, Bumblebee) And when these wings are touched roughly, shot, scratched, hit, kicked, ect then they will feel it more than most parts of their frame and feel pain. A gentle touch, however, will trigger physical reaction to where it isnt pain but more so of a happy or pleased reaction.
Audial fins: These serve to help a Cybertronian talk if they cannot move their mouth. Sound still is heard as well as the voice but, again, the mouth does not move. Furthermore, these are very sensitive. The reaction will depend on how the fin is touched, roughly is not a good idea for the Cybertronian sporting these fins will react violently out of pain. Gently touched the Cybertronian cant help but a physical reaction such as a shutter or shiver.
Sparklings: It is not similar to how humans reproduce, it takes two sparks to make a third smaller one. If the sparkmates wish to have their own sparkling the sire will have to give some of his own energy to the carrier in order for the smaller spark to form beside the carrier's own spark. While the spark gets stronger and then ready for extraction, it will give the carrier's spark a small pain flash that is unique so the carrier knows. When the sparkling's spark is extracted from the carrier's chassis via opening of the chassis it is placed in a pre-built frame.
Sparkmates and bondmates: There is a difference. A bondmate is two bots that have no yet merged sparks, and sparkmates have. How this happens is when they decide to move from bondmate to sparkmate the two will get close, in which their chassis cavity will open, even proto-form plating being moved aside to show the bare spark. The two embrace each other, hugging would be the common form. This makes the sparks touch and it takes a few minutes or so until the sparks form a bond with each other and they become one. This experience could either feel calming or euphoric depending on the bondmates. If one leaves the other for a long while and then meets up with his/her significant other then the sparks will pulse, wanting to merge again to strengthen the bond. Although it sounds set in stone, its not. The bond can be shattered if one of the sparkmates merges sparks with another.
Proto-form plating and armor: If you arent a G1 character, then you will have proto-form plating. This is the base of the frame, the flesh if you will. The armor on the Cybertronian can be removed to show this soft plating. Though on every single Cybertronian the helm, pedes, and servos are pure metal with no proto-form. In G1, it is full metal and the armor worn is their frame and hurts if scratched or any damage done to it. Proto-form plating is usually black, though it can come in gray or sometimes white.
