Tako Otoko
Very attractive, very single.
If anyone isn't familiar with Tokyo Ghoul, here's the basic plot:
Japan (specifically Tokyo) is mixed with humans and a species called Ghouls. Ghouls hunt humans and only eat human flesh in order to live, giving the impression to others that there monsters. However, there are a small bunch of Ghouls that don't like the lives they live, creating a small coffee shop named "Anteiku". Anteiku strives to help Ghouls who don't want to kill humans in order to live and help them fit into society. However, there is a small cost, which is labor to the coffee shop. Meanwhile, a group called the CCG (Commission of Counter Ghoul) are working to eliminate all Ghouls and make Tokyo a safe place, not realizing that there do exist peaceful Ghouls. Us Ghouls strive to live and show the CCG were more than just monsters, we want to be treated like humans also.
Any questions regarding the plot can be asked and will be answered.
Now, Ghouls obviously have to protect themselves, which is why they have there power called the "Kagune". A Kagune is composed of RC cells, which flow just like blood, can become as solid as teeth and can be described as "liquid muscles". This is a list of the Kagune available to the user:
Ukaku
Ukaku kagune is spread out like feathers and is released from the shoulder area. The kagune is lightweight and can be used to deliver high-speed attacks against an adversary. The kagune is suited both for short-distance and long-distance attacks. Altogether, ukaku-type ghouls have a high chance to end the battle after a short time. Can also shoot a barrage of projectiles.
However, releasing the Rc cells extremely decreases stamina. Thus, ukaku-type users lack endurance and are at a disadvantage if the battle drags on for a long time.
Koukaku
A Koukaku kagune is metallic and released below the shoulder blade. This is achieved by a high density of RC cells. It is heavy and extremely robust. Of all the kagunes, they have the greatest sturdiness and are especially suited for defense. Normally, they are generally shaped into armors or shields. But on the offense, they can be shaped like melee weapons such as drills, hammers or blades. Due to its high weight, a koukaku's speed is inferior to all other kagunes and the kagune is hard to wield.
Rinkaku
A Rinkaku kagune has an appearance similar to scaled tentacles and is released at the back around the waist. A rinkaku has powerful regenerative abilities and its peculiar appearance and structure yield a superior striking power. A rinkaku excels in brute strength.
This type's regenerative power is a result of the RC cells easily binding together. Their RC cells are more similar to liquids. However, this means that the binding force among the RC cells must be weak, therefore making the kagune very brittle.
Bikaku
A Bikaku kagune typically has a tail-like appearance and is released around the tail-bone/coccyx. It is good for medium-distance attacks and has decent offense, defense and speed. Thus, they have no notable strengths or weaknesses like the kagune based on other RC types, meaning the kagune itself is treated as a surprise "trump card."
A bikaku has better speed and durability against the brute-force, brittle rinkaku, allowing them to cut off the rinkaku's kagune. However, a bikaku will be overwhelmed by the faster ukaku user and will lose against the ukaku's long-range attacks.
Any questions regarding Kagune can be asked and will be answered.
Now, CCG has there own set of unique weapons to fight against the ghouls called "Quinque" Basically the quinque is a weapon that is fashioned from a ghoul's kagune. The quinque can be made into various shapes like axes, guns, shields or blades to a degree, but most still retain some characteristics of the original kagune.
To make sure nobody goes over kill with there quinque if they choose to be part of the CCG, you are allowed only one shape for your quinque or one kagune type quinque. If you'd like to change, be sure to give a good explanation why and make a scene in the Roleplay on how your quinque breaks or gets destroyed.
Any questions regarding Quinque or CCG can be asked and will be answered.
Here comes the fun part, rules:
-You are only allowed up to two characters for this roleplay. I hate seeing people play five different other people at the same time, and I'd like to keep it simple.
-If you'd like to kill off your character OR kill off someone else's character, you must first ask permission of said user and notify me. I will give you the OK shortly once you notify me that the user said okay to killing there character. Also, this is where a second character could potentially jump in and take your lead. Be sure not to kill both of your created characters if you made two, that way you have someone to portray.
-Grammar is HIGHLY appreciated. Your grammar does not have to be perfect, but it needs to be put together well enough so that I, and everyone else, can understand what you're saying. If you cannot follow this simple rule, you will receive notification that you need to improve grammar. If you're still not typing properly after the notification, you will be removed from this roleplay without second thoughts.
-Please make sense with what you type. Numerous RP's I've seen get ruined by these kinds of
posts:
Anything like this will NOT be tolerated in this RP.
-I encourage getting detailed in fighting scenes. Ghouls can take a gruesome beating and heal quickly. Feel free to add as much gore and detail as you can in the fighting scenes, I highly recommend it.
-Please be nice to others. If someone is trying to jump in the RP, give them a chance. Most of the time people leave because nobody is accepting them into the roleplay, which I find rude and selfish. IF there post doesn't make sense, jumps in out of nowhere and ruins your scene (a good example would be jumping in the middle of nowhere during your fight scene, ruining it if the post is not made up cleverly or well written ), then you may ignore them until further notice.
-Have fun! I'm not a dictator or anything, I'd just like to have a nice clean RP with a friendly environment, with tons of gore and death.
Input would be greatly appreciated, should this be a thing?
