hm for a Citizen-type character would them being a former investigator be allowed? I have clear reasons why they wouldn't be an investigator anymore already.

Just put it on your sheet if what you're looking for is not already full. Note that sheets with special things are looked through a lot more thoroughly.
 
More of a concern than a question.


I'm not sure what Posting rates are expected for a Hosted Project but the activity rates for this Rp doesn't seem amazing and a fair few seem to have just made a Character profile and just disappeared into the endless void. Is there anything going to be done to address this or anything?...

Yes, most definitely. I am myself not amazingly happy with how it's going, but I'm trying to come up with things. I'm kind of overburdened at the moment, but an event should start soon (it depends on one person, more or less) and I've gotten the wonderful Bandit, who I think made a positive impact so far. It's entirely possible that some sort of reform will come and change things up, but it's gonna get better, I would hope.

If some people are truly inactive or choose to go inactive, does their spot in the rankings open up for other people?


E.G Someone with an S spot / Special class Investigator spot has been or gone inactive, does that mean the space for that ranking open up or does it just decrease?
 
Because I have been offline for quite some time now due to personal reasons... I'll tell you in private but don't like to spread the word around everyone.


The thing I've noticed that my character is back to Pending so I'm now curious if I'm still accepted?
 
@Prizzy Kriyze @Sunbather @The One Eyed Bandit Besides the use of NPCs as fodder in combat, to what extent are we allowed to involve NPCs? For example, the CCG currently has a shortage of high commanding officers, so could we use NPCs to move the action along (as in give commands, especially with the recent roleplay development)? I can see how it can easily extend into iffy territory though, so I'm curious about the regulations for this.

You could write stuff like "The Special Investigator leading the mission commanded XYZ to do so and so", for sure. Just dont flesh them out too much. And of course, if needed by another player, they may die.
 
This seems to have been asked before, Is this Hosted Project still alive and Kicking?


I noticed that while going around and lookin at everything that a lot of people who showed interest at first seem to have disappeared or those saying they'll join but never actually did anything. Looking at recent posts as well it looks like two of the Gm's are no longer participating but still marked as Game Masters, are they away or has it just not been updated?


Oh and this might be an unfair observation given its the holiday season and all, but this looks likes its lacking in numbers in comparison to the other Projects who have like 25 people or something. Will there be any efforts to revitalize this and undergo some sort of recruitment process?


Sorry if this comes off as rude or anything, I just want to know whether joining this will be productive or not. @Sunbather

It's most certainly still alive. I definitely let it die down a bit but for a few weeks, it's been going fine, I'd say. We currently have three GMs, those being Prizzy, Bandit and I, with Nyx being AWOL, unfortunately. Shoot happens.


I don't think many HPs have 25 active players, though I'm fairly certain Fairy Tail is doing such numbers as may a few others. From participating in others, I can safely say it's rarely so many people being active though. I'm somewhat happy with having around 10 truely active players at the momen tbh, with hopefully more people coming along. And as you said it yourself, holidays and all.


I semi-regularly bump the interest check, something I intend to do a bit more often after New Year.
