Regarding the Moon Band:
- Barrier Generation allows the user to create tangible psionic constructs such as shields and platforms. These can repel kinetic forces such as a punch or thrown object, as well as thermal/ electromagnetic attacks, but there is a limit to their durability dependant on the scale of the construct (Ie. A small barrier that surrounds one person will be tougher to break than a larger one that shields multiple people).
- Shadow Generation allows the wielder to use manipulate existing shadows into a physically tangible, mobile object which is shaped by the user's will (Ie. They could manifest as hands, a blade, etc). The shadows can be stretched/ expanded to an extent, but must remain connected to original source or else they'll dissipate. Strong sources of light (Ie. A bright flashlight, flames, or the midday sun on a clear day) would weaken them.
Regarding your first point, that'll be revealed in due time yesPsionic as in related to the other telekinetic powers? Can they be fused for teamwork shenanigans?
Can Barriers still be used offensively, such as launching constructs at things? Can the barriers be moved around or are they set in stone (har har)?
Eh, I'm almost done with my character, though I think it matters little, there are over ten people with 7 slots so it's up to clarinetti to choose who to accept. I say you go on and submit your own cs for Mars. Picking the one left open will let you have a sure chance of being accepted. Though I don't have a problem if clarinetti allows two Mars.I see. Mqueserasera would you be open to parlaying for Mars? Pretty please?
Mm, you're toeing the line on that last note good sir, but let me put it this way. I have a rough idea for a potential group finishing move, but if you all wish to collaborate and put forth a team super move, I'll show you what I'm considering and we can discuss it. I'll still have the final say if I think it's too OP (Which I doubt will be reached, since the finisher deserves some extra oomph), but I'd try to primarily base the call on group feedback. What do you guys think? We will make up our own super attack as a group project or do you already have ideas?
would you let us surprise you with one?
If there's a few planet slots left vacant, I'll either fill the slot with a character of my own or else save it to be filled if/when we get through the current arc (Akin to having an nth ranger join after the initial squad is established). Based on the current responses, it seems we'll have 5-7 players right now, and my plan is to roll so long as there's a min. of 4 active participants, so I feel we're in decent shape.Well, if anybody asks me, I'd rather work on the super move after we start and get a good feel of the feeling of the rp-in-practice, as it isn't that important.. until we actually need it, which is fairly far off I'm sure.
Also, what's the policy if we're missing some of the planets?
I appreciate your enthusiasm, friend. I’ve just got to get through to Friday (the joys of finals season) and then I’ll be getting around to officially accepting sheets and such. Ideally we will get the IC live and moving early next week.I just wanna post. Someone come wake me up when it's time for posts.
If you could send a draft this weekend, that would be good, but if you’re having some issues with code don’t stress about it. As Brax said the codes only for when it’s formally posted on CS page, and I’m happy to help with that once we’ve discussed your characters info. When's the character sheets due? I'm hitting a rough patch and having difficulty with the bbcode template.
Nice, thanks for the heads up. Do what you need to do and feel free to send it when you're readyI'm almost done with my character. Just need to flesh out history and that bizz
