Fantasy To Reset the World (Accepting Again)

"That's nice of you!" said Keline. "The house in question is on Tradersstreet, next to some of the knights' villas. But I suppose you don't know where that is, being new and all...Just follow me and I'll walk you there." She smiled and gestured for them to leave.

In the darkened shade of the alley, near the back was an old dusty wooden door. Beyond this door rests the feeble man who was in the drawing of Orizo's paper, sulking in the corner of the room. His face reads with terror as he hears a rustle coming from the outside, he had a candle lit in his hands, his fingers shaking as he didn't blink for a instant. His breathe heavy as he could hear the sound of a hand touching the doorknob. Beads of sweat dropping from his deprived face.

-tink-

-tink-

-tink-

The doorknob chimed from its old rust, the door slowly creaked open. The darkness of the outside alley way seeping merging with that of the room, all that was visible was the image of the greatly anxious man, he seemed to be on the brink of losing his sanity awaiting what he deemed the end of his short lived freedom..The creaking of the door continuing until the door was fully open, only the man's gasps were heard as he squirmed with anticipation.

The gust of whistling wind that breezed through the doorway was enough to jolt him to his feet, trying to muster the little bravery he had he kneeled down to his side, grabbing a long piece of broken dirtied glass. Aiming the point of the glass weapon to the doorway he screamed out into the darkness,

"COME ON YOU SON OF A BITCH!!! COME ON!! FACE MEE!! YOU'LL NEVER TAKE ME BACK ALIVE!!-.."

He huffs catching his breathe, his teeth nearly chattering. No response was given..the door slightly knocked against the wall as the darkness peering through the open door only mute to his fear filled challenge.

The man's knees quaked, as stepping even a foot out the room was unthinkable, up for no debate in his mind. He stood, sweat and tears filling and covering his eyes he dipped his head down wiping his face. Blood dripping from the man's hand, having been gripping the glass much to firmly. Taking deep breathes he looks back to the vacant doorway..still..nothing there. He almost believed he was going mad, questioning his belief if anyone really had found him.

He seemed to be calming down, but slightly, too unnerved to be comfortable for an instant. He took a few steps back, unable to keep his eyes off the doorway. His back felt like it hit a wall, he coughed a little stunned the wall was so close to him, he most likely was unaware his surroundings..that was all..that had to be it. Then suddenly, he realized, he was able to hear breathes other then his own. Freezing in place like a statue he slowly turns his head, trembling like a dog in the cold. What he saw behind him, was a hooded figure, standing centimeters from his body, ..there was a mutual silence in the air before finally speaking, "..........you'll be coming with me.." The words made the man scream loudly in terror it would echo through the alley way.

----

A group of citizens heard the cry of terror and rushed to the scene, bursting through the door to find an empty room, on the floor was a blood stained piece of glass, which right next to it was a dimly lit candle. The individuals muttered a few words amongst themselves in slight confusion. The candle slowly dimmed away only leaving a long tail od smoke to rise from it, Orizo's deed..done.

Mark stood up from his seat and stretched out his arms. "L-Lead the way." he said, following the woman's steps. I wonder who the patient is? Maybe someone he knows? Mark wondered, he never really studied medicines and doesn't know how to use them. He'll probably just ask later.

It was nice having someone to walk with. Keline did almost everything alone these days, and only now realized how lonely she was.

They walked outside the center of the city, through some narrow alleyways, and then reached the house. “This is it,” said Keline.

She knocked on the door. There was no answer, so she called out loudly “Master Arron?” No answer again, the slave owner was not inside. She pushed the door, and surprisingly it opened.

On the bed lay an elfish girl who was very pale. She moaned and rolled around, clearly in intense pain.

“This is my patient,” Keline said to Mark. “I don’t know who she is, she won’t give her name." She paused. “Her slave owner treats her badly, but apparently he cared enough to call for a healer. I don’t know where he’s gone.”

Mark looked at the girl, he was saddened by this. Are humans really this abusive? Is that why most of the elves are mad at them? He thinks before facing towards Keline again. "I-Is there any way I can help? How?" the boy asks, determined to help the girl.

@Pashpu

"Hmmm," Keline said sadly. She took out her medicine pouch and rummaged around. "Could you hold her still while I give her some herbs?" Keline took some mushed herbs from her pocket and mixed it with a little water from her canteen. "Whatever illness this girl has is beyond me. The lifestyle these slaves live is not good for health unfortunately."

Mark nodded, going to the girl and held her. "This is horrible... I don't like it. I-Is there some way we can stop this slavery? " he asked, quite naively. There must be a way to stop this continual capture of other races. "Humans and the other races should be equal... No one is superior to the other, we should be all balanced. But why...?" he whispered, thinking deeply.

@Pashpu

"I agree. And I had since a child, even though most of my human friends always accepted it," said Keline, as she fed the herb mush in the girl's mouth. The girl gave a small shudder. "But slavery is such a huge part of this system. It's horrible and cruel, but the stability between the rulers depends on it and so does the source of labor. Without a great revolution, I don't see what can be done." She sighed, and checked the girl's head for her high fever.

Then she looked outside the window to see if the slave owner was arriving. No one was there. But in the next house over, there was a candlelit room, and two people were talking. She immediately recognized the thief girl, and the knight from the other day. What were they doing here? Then the thief girl turned her head and made clear eye contact with Keline.

Lana glanced at the human healer she had encountered earlier in the day with her hands folded over each other and talking about her idea with Arwyn she hadn't been paying too much attention to the time. She stood from the table and moved to the window pushing it open with her hands and climbing outside still unwashed and in her old clothes.

She walked over to the two now noticing the half blood she had pick pocketed earlier and adjusted her hair slightly. "Hello you two fancy seeing you here," She spoke in a calm voice almost pleased in a way as it saved time scouring the city in the morning to offer up her plan at least to elf.

"Tell me," She lifted up her sleeve and revealed a burned in mark she had received years ago by her original owner, "How does the plight of the slaves make you feel..." She asked this question folding her arms slightly and watching them both carefully.

@Ami the breadling

"Ah, yes... The road to inner harmony isn't really easy. Even I was once a hot-headed young adult who didn't quite understand my emotions, which my mentor taught me. He believes that fighting is not just for defence or attacking or hurting someone. It's about this sense of serenity, unity and harmony, you can channel all your inner energy into your attacks... It helps you... Achieve a state of zero thoughts, only then, can you hopefully succeed in the art of warfare."

"But as they say, one step at a time, provided that you're a quick learner. First of all, one should calm his mind completely, no anger or no emotion, only a blank mind. And don't forget to take deep breaths. That's what my mentor taught me, before or after taking or delivering a hit, one should breath, don't let your anger take over you, or you're bound to lose." He said, quoting his mentor in the process, so, he in one of his multiple endeavours became a mentor? Well, ain't that ironic, hopefully it would be better if he wasn't to get assassinated by a group of renegade elves.

He returns back to reality because his thoughts were driven away as Mark's attention was caught by the thief who stole his reward from earlier. Her appearance confirms her to be a woman, Mark took note of that inside his head. He laid the elf girl down, giving her a smile before observing the thief's scar. He gave the woman a confused look, she must be planning something, Mark established that. He gave the woman a response in a low tone to avoid waking up the girl, "I-It makes me feel horrible". He closed his eyes before opening it a second after. His expression changed into a more serious one and he questions the thief. "Why did you ask us?".

(I guess I'll restart my post)

Arkady leans against the wall of his shop, waiting for any clients, patients or.... new victims. 'Meh... nothing new' he thought, but heard a voice in the back door. "Do you have any of the 'good pill'?" it was a man, probably between thirty and forty years old. "Depends on which pill you're talking about my good sir, why do you ask?" he smiled turning around to face the man. "My wife... s-she was a slave that escaped her master... when they found her.... they killed her, I can't live anymore, I heard you were selling Cyanide pills, I will buy it" The man looked down while speaking, clearly sad "I will do it as a favor..." Arkady gave the man a pill. "Thank you..." the man spoke up before walking away.

A girl grasping a book wearing a white hood and golden locket appears in front of the man, she smiles at him as a floating and shining white orb returns to her. "Sir, death is not always the answer. You shouldn't blame yourself for the death of your wife, she wouldn't like it if you end yourself just because of her. Please think this over." the girl taps the man's shoulder and slips a bag full of gold onto his pocket before proceeding to the back of the shop. The hooded girl lowers her head and knocks on the back door, waiting for a response.

@An Unknown Person

The man just sat down, staring at nothing, thinking about her words. 'Why did I do this?' he asked himself, while the shop back door was slightly open, the man wearing the crow mask stared at the girl. "Do you need something?" he asked, now fully opening the door. "I'm Arkady, the owner, you? and what do you need?" he asked the hooded girl, stepping aside, he let her go inside his store if she wanted, thinking that she was a patient visiting his store for the first time.

@EXPMIRACLE

Lana looked at the Elf girl they had been carrying before going up to her examining if she was alive not having noticed her right away as she had been more focused at the two others. "Is she alright?" She asked in a concerned tone before coughing once and looking at the two again. "I've had an idea to fix everything... In a way, the slavery, the technology that is becoming more developed, the human kingdoms themselves would rumble from it. I want to convince the gods, nay challenge them and defeat them to earn the world on which we live a reset." She explained this while looking at the other elf shaking her head slightly, "I grow tired of seeing the world in which we live as an unequal land, so I will try to get the gods to reset the scales, the lives of many in this world would be extinguished, an act some would call evil. But, I know that my goal is one of goodness and righteousness but, I know that sometimes others may brand me as evil for thinking or wanting such a thing. I ask you my Fellow Elf though you contain blood of humankind in your gains should you feel trapped between the lands of Human and Elfin always feeling different just because of the blood that flows through your veins? And if you trust this human she may of course join if she is of like mind about the plight of those who are Lesser than their kind." She spoke passionately about her desire and goal she had come up with. Even if it could be impossible to achieve, she believed she had to try for the world could not shift toward mass equality on it's own, nor could it over time as the centuries have been built using this system. She wanted to achieve this dream and though she appeared outwardly as dirty, with her clothes partially torn in places and her face a mess, inwardly just speaking about her goal and desire made her feel more important than any even herself had ever considered her.

Arweldyn sheugged at the weird actions. "Friya jumped through windows too, back then, so thats probably some elven thing.", she said before heading to her bathroom, taking a shower. Sebastian waited in the hall, for the cause that Lana could return.

Putting down her hood. The girl observed the store before looking back at the masked man. "Do you have any medicines for cold and fever? This is an urgent task I am assigned with." she said, putting away the book she was holding. The girl wore a smile on her face as these medicines she asked wasn't for her but for someone else. "My name is Sierra by the way."

@An Unknown Person

Mark placed his hand onto the sick elf's forehead, he replied to the question quite sincerely. "I... I don't know, but I hope she gets well soon". He listened to the girl's explanation. At first it seemed funny and made him giggle a bit, but afterwards it concerned and interested him. "S-Summon the gods? Ha... Ha... That's impossible... But...", the boy looks back at the girl elf. This was very laughable and is certainly impossible. But this could save many lives, even if it means killing them and putting them back again. He smiles at the thief and said, "But I know that anything is possible. I-I will join forces with you then. If it's alright with you". He placed his hand on his back, introducing himself. "I-I don't think we introduced each other yet, my name is Mark Ray Phantasmo. Y-you can call me Mark".

"Lana Valentine, Thief by trade and wannabe hero to the oppressed." She commented with some flair as she bowed to Mark. "I know it sounds impossible but it's either we attempt the impossible or let everything continue as it has, plus..." Lana trailed off while looking at the three in front of her. "Plus, what is Impossible is only Impossible because no one has ever achieved it before, so we must hope to achieve it." She said not letting something so small as it being claimed impossible strike her dream down.

"Sure, give me a minute." Arkady opened another door to a small room where he kept the medicine and a few other things ( *Cough cough*Poison *Cough cough*). "Where?...where?...oh, here it is." he could be heard talking to himself while searching for the medicine, returning to Sierra a few minutes later with (*Read this part with Louis voice from L4D*) a tablet of pills and (*Finish reading with that voice *) a mug of coffee. "20 gold for the medicine...and do you accept some coffee? the best medicine I say..." he joked about the coffee part, but gave her the mediciine anyways.

@EXPMIRACLE

Sierra bowed down, giving him 40 gold. She intended to give him that. The medicine was placed into a small bag she had hidden under her hood. "Thank you sir." the girl said with bits of joy onto her tone. Exiting the doors, a wagon approaches her and a woman servant greets her. Sierra removes her hood and entered the wagon, leaving the kingdom in haste.

@An Unknown Person

"Thank you." Arkady couldn't help but smile 'She is probably one of the few 'rich ones' that aren't plain idiots.' he thought when the wagon appeared as he put the purse inside a small box, which was almost half, after that, he left the box on the top shelf and sat down on one of the chairs in the storage room, removing his mask and leaning against the wall once again, waiting for another client.

Abe was having a mild case of migraine, while most calm people would've managed it easily, he was exactly the opposite. He was silently cursing this headache of his, he was extremely frustrated, annoyed and most importantly, he was disgruntled. Still, he managed to keep his cool but he wasn't sure how long he was going to be able to keep it. He was after all, one very moody man, he's either really friendly or really angry. He thought of this one solution, actually the only solution to keep his cool and not go on a rage-fuelled rampage, go to the local doctor.

As he was walking, he happened to see an assortment of slaves and humans, which was very common, you could say he was the odd one out from all this cloud. He was walking and walking and walking till his temper was going to a milder level, but he noticed this hobbit out of the corner of his eyes, he turned to face him, who also seemed to turn and face him.

Both were facing each other.

"I suppose your on your way to the doctor, just an assumption, though." The Hobbit said.

"Well, I actually am going to the doctor." He replied. "Gotta fix this splitting headache." He finished as he looked at the hobbit.

"I'm going to the doctor too, I've suffered an injury on my arm, I have roughly patched but I'm intent on getting it properly fixed" Nathan replied, with a pretty ordinary look in his face.

"Good, then we share similar goals." Abe said, moving to his destination.

They were walking for a while until Abe gestured for them to stop, they had reached a pharmacy.

"I need some meds for my headache." Abe said as he made his way to the destination of his, once he reached the Ares, he opened the door, until he met this guy.

"I need some meds for my headache." Abe stated to the guy, obviously hoping to get a medical relief from his constant head pain.

The chirping of the cicadas was audible, as a young male made his way through the mostly empty streets of Seogas. It was incredible how such a busy kingdom was capable of turning so quiet at night. Not that it bothered Noah, the peaceful silence reminded him of his homeland. He used to go on long walks with his father back when he was still a kid, it never got boring gazing at the scenery of Ankrath. The mountains, the rivers, calling it beautiful would be an understatement. A sigh managed to escape his lips as Noah continued his trip down memory lane. Even though he'd never admit it, the boy did miss Ankrath sometimes. Eh... No point in looking back. He thought, brushing the subject off. The distant sound of a wagon rolling across a road was able to be heared, but Noah paid it no mind and continued his way. "That's a little too dark for my taste." The boy mumbled to himself after entering an alleyway. Noah clenched his hand into a fist for a brief moment, but quickly opened it again. A small orb of light flew from it, brightening the area around him. "That's better." A pretty basic spell to say the least, but it got the job done. He continued his way.

Keline laughed at Lana's idea. "I don't know what you're talking about, with summoning the gods and all...What gave you any...evidence...that the gods really exist?" She paused as Lana glared at her. "But count me in. I'm always willing to help the slaves and ...yeah, I've really grown sick of this system. Whatever it is you want to do, I'm with you." Keline couldn't believe she was actually saying this. But it made her feel great to be part of some cause greater than herself, and she wanted to be a hero.

"Where's your knight friend, Lana?" Keline asked. "Is she also part of your plan?"

(Sorry, I was playing Half Life 2 Episode 1 and 2 , didn't notice you replied xD )

When he heard someone inside his store, he quickly put the mask back on, opening the storage room, he noticed it was not a human. "Thank the gods, you're not a human." he spoke, removing his mask and revealing Elven ears and a few scars on his right cheek. "I'm Arkady, the owner, and yes, just give me a moment, " he returned to the storage room. "Cold, fever... oh, here it is" when he finally found the right tablet, he waited a few extra seconds in the other room before returning. "It will be 27 gold, anything el- oh wait, I'm out of it, sorry my good sir." He looked down, looking ashamed, but in reality he was trying to not smile.
