"Psst. Hey you. Over here." A hooded figure beckons you towards him, leading you down a small alley you hadn't noticed before in the marketplace. The market itself was severely crowded today, and it was amazing you managed to weave your way through the rush of people to follow the figure. Why you were following him, you don't know. Perhaps you were bored, perhaps you had your own malicious intent for the figure, perhaps you were genuinely curious. Hidden in the shade of two stone walled buildings, the figure starts the conversation with a question. "King Roman. He's a pretty terrible king, wouldn't you say?"
It's a risky question. The royal guards were everywhere these days, constantly watching, constantly listening. They could be right around the corner, listening to your conversation. Hell, this figure could be a royal guardsman without you knowing, and convict you for treason, which was punishable by death. But something about the question gave you a thrill, a thrill to know more about where this was going. You nod your head.
"I thought so," he states ominously. "Meet me at the local tavern tomorrow night. I've got something to say you might be interested in hearing." With a quick motion, the figure had moved out of the alleyway and melded into the swarms of people in the market. You never even got his name.
Will you go?
Heya all! Another 3am idea from Noivian! This one focuses around a medieval-esque era in a fantasy world, were everyone is only half human. This is more aimed towards kemonomimi and nekos. There are social classes based on your species, with nobles consisting of the divine and infernals (angels and demons), the majority of the population consisting of animals and mythicals (as in unicorns and jackalopes and the like), and the lowest class consisting of beasts and other barely functioning monstrosities, along with hybrids (a person who is one quarter wolf and one quarter dragon would qualify as a hybrid, for example) and other rejects. There will also be some D&D elements, mostly relating to how your character fights and their access to spellcraft, but dice will not be used. There will be customizable magic spells, items, and abilities, but everything has to be ran past me before you use it, and if you try out any magical crafting, I'll be deciding the outcome of the crafting.
The goal of this role play is to remove the kingdom's current king from power. There's backstory to this role play, but feel free to add your own as you want to. Anyone interested?
