History : Brief. At least two paragraphs
Ellena. A mystery to the masses. Like a forsaken book shut tight out of fear of what may jump out of it. One would be suicidal to put a knife to her back, if you believed the gossip spilling from any mouth. Many rumours cover what her story was before she became what she is today. And none of them are close to a happy subject - not even scraping by.

Apparently she was incarcerated into Maximum Security at her colony for 12 Charges of First Degree Murder. That's what the more colourful side of the discussion normally talks about. Following it through, you may also find out that she could have been a slave to the well-off. Maybe that'll explain why she's one of the most notorious Captains in the business - even before she set up her crew. But one thing's for certain, though: you screw with her and you'll find that you've got a nice casket waiting for you six feet below the grass.

One of the colonists in her colony used these for hunting, she stole theme and used them to wipe out all of the other colonists and steal the ship that was docked there to become a space pirate.

History:
Kruger's background doesn't exactly extend from a story of a loving family on some sort of pleasant tropical resort world - not at all. He wasn't raised as a compassionate soul, or some tech-savvy genius ready to change the galaxy for the better. Kru's origins relay from the Novus Ordo - some sort of neo-Roman Empire. His existence was solely for the blood sport of glorious gladiatorial combat on the sands of the colosseum. Kruger is a man who is no stranger to battle. He had seen plenty of conflicts during his ten years as a slave to his master. Each drop of blood made Kruger more aware of reality. Each broken bone made it more clear that life was a cruel game, and he was just a pawn about to be sent off for a task that can yield no benefits. The more Kruger realised this, the more he became aware of what his purpose in life was: simply to kill, and nothing could change that.

It took a 26 year-old Kruger to finally earn his freedom. His right to his own life was made even more clear when he was hailed the victor of the 24th annual Blood Tournament. Any gladiator deserving to break his shackles always reigns victorious in the arena. And Kru made sure that he would never succumb to the seductive grasps of surrender. Life is forfeit when a man drops his sword. It took 123 bodies to pay for a warrior's freedom. Kru never cared who they were - it was either him or them. With the liberation of this one gladiator, employment was found within the Solis Militibus: a faction of Mercenaries who's origins always traced back to the arena. Kru may have even stayed, if not for the treachery of his good friend and Commanding Officer, Stelladom Marshall Green. The actions perpetrated by this man are truly unforgivable. And ever since, Kru has sworn to bring this volatile creature down to his knees and put a round right between his sights. Though piracy may not have been the most practical solution, it certainly will be the most direct.

Weaponry:
SA96SM Battle Rifle - A favourite of any wishing to dispatch their targets with relative ease. The Smit Arms '96 Varient Super Magnum boasts a magazine of .45 calibre ammunition ready to remove any potential threats breaching one's comfort zone. You would normally only find this kind of gun in the hands of a mercenary who's in high-demand, rather than in the grubby mitts of a wandering space pirate.

Arderedem - a weapon completely unique to Kruger himself. Arderedem is a sword like no other. It's blade consists of plasma magnetically contained, possessing a ceramic core, utilising an incredibly dense power source and employing a force field to protect against infrared radiation. It's almost like it's from a sci-if movie...

Previous Occupation : Bionics Engineer for Dahl Corp

History :

Before he decided to turn his life into one of crime, he was lead bionics engineer for Dahl Corps, being conscripted into his position after the company raided his planet, draining the planet's resources in months and killing 1/3 of the population due to work related 'accidents' and drone uprisings. He was sick of it, but he really didn't want to be dead. No, not him. So he joined up with Dahl, he used his previous experience as a bionics engineer to quickly ascend the ranks and gain more access to tech and more freedom within the flagship he worked in. So, he gained control of a large escape pod, and found himself running away from security with his team, and fleeing into a escape pod.

Sadly though, the pod was easily destroyed by the superior firepower of the U.S.S. Deltroxilus. The shards of the failed escape attempt landed on the lush planet of Eden-5, where many of the crew died on impact, except him, who miraculously survived via landing in a large lake. He emerged, broken, his arms torn off from the crash, barely alive on the shores. It was there that he was approached by a woman, who claimed herself to be called Annika. Strangely, she hadn't shown a lick of concern, but that was of no matter, she acted with haste and made sure to follow all instructions the engineer gave her. Turns out, she was recently repairing cars before his searing red comet came bursting into the atmosphere. Strange he thought. To think that people here would be willing to help a stranger. So he paid her one in return, journey the stars! Or at least the local bar.

Weaponry :

Arm-mounted Rotating Flechette Launcher
Having both arms torn off is terrible, so what's some way to make that better? I know, put a rocket gatling gun on your forearm! That should do the trick! Something that he personally created after the crash landing on Eden-5. It operates by spinning a barrel with multiple individually loaded gyrojets in each of the 55 barrels, which when activated, spin at incredible speeds and fire explosive gyrojets in rapid succession.

"Universal Remote"
With his trusty rifle at his side, the legendary Universal Remote is a weapon of accuracy and sheer force of explosions. She fires catastrophic depleted uranium bullets capable of tearing through most heavy armor. Unlike it's MG-50 cousins, this particular rifle has been modified to be able to shoot in a burst pattern with a single trigger pull, the sheer force requiring stronger parts and a stronger man.

Along with a holster for her pistol, Adrian has a holder for a military grade audio log that she listens to most of the time with a pair of headphones.

Previous Occupation : Former military test pilot and medic. Booted from the program after irreversible brain damage during a Contact Experiment.

History :
Adrian was never always a pirate nor was she always so... Odd. She was one of the brightest minds in the Galactic Military's RnD Department and a rather skilled field medic. A surprising feat considering her background as a lowly orphan from a backwater colony. She managed to gain the attention of some scientist after he saw her scratch out shapes from a discarded medical science book. Mistaking her copying for a prodigy, she was taken in by the scientist who than began coaching her on medical science. Fast forward the years and Adrian has officially graduated from Military College with a degree on biochemical science, so maybe she is a real prodigy or just a fast learner. Other than the degree, she is also a certified pilot, clocking in around 200 hours of flight time, both simulated and actual.

All this changed one day. At the age of 23 with her promising barely starting, Adrian signed up for an attempted Contact Experiment with a newly discovered species of alien. After discovering that the aliens communicated via quantum brainwaves, Adrian was tasked with testing a special helmet that would allow communication. It was one small simple test but the moment Adrian put the helmet on and attempted contact, her mind was bombarded with a stream of information. The sheer amount of information caused permanent mental damage, leading to a swift personality change along with a penchant for odd and downright disturbing behavior. This led to her discharge from the military, abandoning her on her old colony. But a small fragment of her rational mind remained and that part of her is angry with the Military. This would lead to her becoming a pilot for hire, still able to use her pilot training and favouring those who strike against the Military.

AMR-88 Multi-Use Revolver - A favorite among peacekeepers. Fires various types of ammunition including expanding foam, armour-piercing, plasma rounds, high explosive, and regular bullets. Loved for its low tech and easy maintenance. Comes equipped with a targeting scope and laser aiming module.

M22 Vibrating Knife - A common self-defense weapon. The knife's cutting edge is enhanced by a vibrating motor turning a regular combat knife into a saw like weapon.

Monomolecular edge scalpel - A common doctor's tool used in surgery. It can cut without causing pain but Adrian uses it for... other things. The less you ask the better.

So she's an unstable psychopath and also an orphan?
I've never seen that before ever.
Nah, in all seriousness at least you did something with it as opposed to all the other 50,000,000 psychopathic characters.
 
For one thing you didn't do the whole "my parents died, I killed them. I've got s fifteen foot teddy bear and a fifteen foot knife stuffed inside of it" shit

I think Adrian will be an excellent character for this, definitely make it interesting when she's in one of her "fits"

Yeah. That kind of crazy is overplayed. Adrian's is subtle. She says and does weird things once in awhile and is more like a little kid with a morbid sense of humor than anything.

Well she's mostly just creepy. But she does like seeing people bleed. For the colour contrast.
 
Well then, I get the feeling that she and my character will get along juuuusst fine.
Maybe even my character, lol. My character killed all of her colonists for personal gain.
I'll probably have a better grasp on that when you post your character. :3

And I can already tell that she'll be close to the Captain. Maybe even treat her like a little sister due to their age differences. >:3
 
Name: Jack Quill

Previous Occupation: Intergalactic criminal-inventor, responsible for trading immensely dangerous weapons as business.

History: Initially a child-prodigy gone wrong, Jack was accepted into the Galactic Institute of Research & Development at a very young age. Eventually, he became one of the leading quantum physicist in the entire institute - that is until he got bored. He couldn't stand improving security technology, inventing practical and useful appliances for 'the good of mankind' and so he went rogue and started developing quantum weapons on his own.

It didn't take long for the institute to find out about it and since their first attempt to catch Jack, he's been on the run. Until he eventually came across a group of space-pirates while stealing ultradense-compressed-plutonium from a military base.

Personality:
As sarcastic and cynical as a person can be, Jack can be a bit, uhm.. crazy... He usually socializes normally although he can be pretty selfish and arrogant at times.

Weaponry: Although Jack's armaments are catastrophically destructive, they're quite impractical in most situations although they are known to have saved the crew multiple times from several extremely tight situations.
  • Anti-Inertia & Neutra-Friction Ray: Jack's legendary Anti-Inertia & Neutra-Friction Rays are (too mouthful to bloody say) technologies that defy the previously known laws of physics. As the names suggest, said weapon is able to diminish the static friction and natural inertia of its targets without reducing or tampering with their masses. Usually fired together, the Anti-Inertia Day is able to either make its target as soft as a feather, meaning an incoming projectile or even punch shot by said ray completely harmless and momentumless whereas the Neutra-Friction Ray is able to make its target slide uncontrollably and unable to grab on to anything. Note that that the Anti-Inertia Ray will not work on targets moving downwards towards a source of gravity. These rayguns are in the form of tiny cylindrical barrels residing inside Jack's sleeves and under the wrist, borrowing designs from the traditional Chinese 'Shushe'. Note that these rayguns are quite impractical given how much energy is required to power them (the entirety of TEPCO is only able to power it for ten shots or less before exploding). This means extremely dense and dangerous power supplies are required to power it efficiently.
  • Quantum Destabilizer: Although nowhere near easy to build and neither is it a physics-defying technology, quantum destabilizers aren't something new. Several large-scale ones can be found on battleships and prototype weaponry but what's impressive is Jack's ability to shrink that down into a little pistol-sized gun. Being obviously heavy as all hell, the Quantum Destabilizer is capable of shooting out a ridiculously high-energy photon beams, enough to destabilize its targets' subatomic structure. Again, this weapon requires an incredibly dense energy source as power. Additionally, Jack's pretty used to firing his destabilizer, making him a decent marksman with it.
  • Plasma Deflector-Shield: Pretty self-explanatory. Jack honestly doesn't know much about the tech, nor does he care. He stole it from a military base and that's all to it. It works great and he just leaves it at that. Being the extreme high-tech deflector shield that it is, it's able to deflect even tank shells and plasma pistols.

Name: Reina Dallow

Age: 29

Appearance: When out of the suit (as seen to the left) Reina will usually be wearing all black with her mustard-coloured scarf still around her neck.

Previous Occupation: Commercial Pilot

History: Reina used to be a Pilot for her family; a small familial group that ran a smuggling trade for black markets in several systems. It had been running for generations, and when Reina was born, she was specifically raised to do one duty: fly. It was a very successful business, the whole thing going under the radar guised as purely cargo ships for space-station and colony supply drops, and Reina lived well-off when she got to visit planet-side. Of course Reina's ships met competitors, and pirates too, but learning to fly when you've got something to hide led her to learning how to fly on instinct, and she has survived more chases than most.

Though with all criminal activity, authorities started to poke their noses into everything. They knew there was a black market, and they knew someone had to be transporting everything. It took them a few years before they started investigating the Dallow business, but with bribes to lose mouthed family members and a little bit of torture, the Dallow business was busted. Reina's ability to bullshit and lie through her teeth led to her walking away free of charges. Now Reina just takes odd flying jobs from different people, working under a 'freelancer' title.

Weaponry: Standard Bowie sheathed at the thigh at all times.

I think Dangerous Amputee and Bullshitter Aviator work better. Would you want to wear white when you're sweating in a suit? No, no one likes pit stains.
