TiMER Roleplay one-on-one

I opened the door, a little bell going off. I waved to the woman at the front desk. "Hey, can we set her up in the back for a timer?" the woman nodded and began to get out some paperwork and we followed her to the back, where a metal dentist like chair sat with a place to put your arm.

She did all of the necessary paperwork and eventually sat down in the chair setting her arm in place. A woman came in and started to sit the thing in place, her being careful to make sure that everything was in order as she did so. The woman said after a while, "Okay all set," she released Mio's arm and then added, "You're ready to go."

Mio sat up and looked over at the woman, "That was easier than I expected..."

The thing flashed and turned on, and I waited anxiously for something to happen.

(If they're soulmates it will flash and make a bunch of noise, but if not a time will show up)

(This will most likely be my last post for about two or three hours, but come back at 8 Central Time)

For a moment the thing just sat there doing nothing at all, Mio thinking that it might have been broken or something. Although after a moment it started to flash and make a really annoying noise, her cringing at the racket that it was making. Mio said with a scrunched up nose, "Does this thing have a volume button ?"

(('s all good))

(I'm back! xD )

"Oh my god! Mio! Do you know what this means?! " I covered my mouth in happiness as my timer started going off in sync to hers as well. I shook her shoulders happily as I laughed nonstop.

Mio is shaken back and forth as the girl gets super excited, her shaking her head unsure about what the fuss was all about. She replies with an unsure expression on her face, "Uhh...they both have a really annoying ringtone..."

"Mio. It means that you and I," I pointed to the both of us. "We're destined to be together." I hugged her tightly.

She double blinks looking at the girl as she pulls her in to a hug, her quite taken aback at this whole situation seeing as how she had just met this girl. She shakes her head and says with a sort of unsure expression, "But I don't even know you..."

"Nor do I know you, Mio, but we're destined to fall in love at some point." I smiled and released her from the hug.

"Umm, yeah sure..." She wasn't so sure about the whole falling in love thing but this girl didn't seem to be a bad person so she could at least hang out with her. Things were going a bit fast but she figured things do happen for a reason so mehh. With that in mind she starts out of the door and on to the sidewalk, her looking back for Eva.

I followed hurriedly after Mio. "So, where are we going now?" I asked her, worried that I had somehow managed to upset her mood.

"I was going to go back to my apartment," she simply said as she kept on walking, her looking back at the girl and adding, "I guess you can come along if you want."

I began to step in sync with Mio. "I guess I have nothing better to do. I mean, if t's fine with you?" I looked quizzically over at her face, which frustratingly I couldn't read.

"Yeah sure," she simply said her glancing over at her seeing that she was staring at her face. Mio thought to herself as she walked to the apartment, 'Do I have something in my teeth..?'

"No, it's just a bit frustrating." I sighed. "Usually I can read people's emotions like I know my own thoughts, but when I look at you," I looked up at her. "There's nothing. I can't see a thing."

She steps in to the elevator and holds it open for Eva, her then asking as the doors close behind them, "Sometimes it's better to not know." Mio pauses and then says with a light smile looking over at Eva, "Not knowing makes things exciting."

I looked down at the elevator floor. "It can also make things scary for the other person." I looked up at Mio. "That other person is me. So, if something's wrong, will you tell me?"

The elevators door beep and the doors open, her looking back at her as she exits the elevator, "Something's wrong?" She pauses for a moment as she makes her way down the hallway to her apartment, "No...I don't think there is..."

"Okay." I nodded to mostly myself, reassuring myself that nothing was wrong. "Well, that's good news, then."

She opens the door to the apartment, it being rather barren in reference to furniture and so on. It was clean but there wasn't many things other than the necessities. She sits down her bag by the door and slips off her shoes sitting them by the door, her looking back at Eva as she walks into the living area, "Make yourself at home, it's not much though."

I smiled a bit. "It's a blank canvas. You can do with it what you wish." I sat down on a small couch that was in the middle of the room. "It's beautiful in all of it's simplicity."

Mio double blinks and glances over at her as she sits down, "School and necessities take up my money." She pretty much just scrapes by on the stipend she receives from scholarships, but other than that she pretty much has no extra disposable income.

She simply shakes her head in response, making her way into the small kitchen area which was connected to the living area, "No I do not." With that said she opens the fridge and asks as she removes a soda, "Would you like one as well?"
