Time to forget. Except, you don’t know that you are forgetting. Not until, you can’t remember.

Suicide has become an epidemic in the United States, the rate of suicide has tripled in the past century, most of those suicides come from teens, ages 13-17. They came up with a solution, it’s called Safe Assistance. No one knows what happens in this program, what they do know is those who go in, come out as a completely different person. Their memories are gone. They are cured, or so they say. You are only safe from them, once you turn seventeen.

You have just been put into Safe Assistance, maybe someone called in an anonymous tip about you, maybe your parents got worried, maybe you said something in school that was concerning. Whether your depressed or not, they don’t care, if you get in, you will never come out the same. You get taken away by people in suits you don’t know and are drugged until you wake up in a hospital room with nurses that are just a little too nice and a security guard that hovers just a little bit too close.

Safe Assistance

The general public doesn’t really know what goes on in this program. They just know that the person that comes out is ‘cured’ but they can’t remember who anyone is outside of their family and some of the friends they met inside. You are always under close surveillance, always cameras and always nurses hovering. If you don’t abide by what you are supposed to do, you get drugged. If you don’t eat, you get injections. If you refuse to cooperate, you are put in a solitary room, unable to interact with anybody else except the doctors. The rules are rather simple, and if you follow them, you will get out soon enough.

Rules:​

1. Members of our team, hospital security and police, if necessary, will work together to control you if you are being violent or abusive. You may be criminally charged for violent or abusive behavior

2. We may give you medications to help calm you down

3. Anything that can be used to harm yourself (pills, razors, knives, sharp objects) will have to be handed over to staff for safekeeping

4. All belongings may be searched for unsafe items when you are admitted and when you are returning from passes

5. Staff may search your belongings and your room at any time if they suspect that someone has unsafe items in their possession

6. Drugs and alcohol worsen mental health problems and are not permitted in the facility.

7. Staff may search your belongings and your room at any time if they suspect the use of drugs or alcohol

8. All medications, including vitamins, herbal remedies, lotions, creams, and over-the-counter medications must be authorized by the treatment team

9. Medications must be stored in the nursing station for safekeeping and your nurse will provide them to you when you are supposed to take them

10. Smoking is not permitted in the building or on the grounds

11. If you arrive with smoking materials, your family can take them home or you have option of storing the materials with the security department for safekeeping until you are discharged

12. Nicotine gum and nicotine patches can be ordered by your psychiatrist to help you cope with the non-smoking policy on the unit

13. If you exhibit good behavior more privileges will open up to you during free time

14. These privileges will be cancelled if you are not acting safely or responsibly at any time afterward

15. Initially, you are required to wear clothes provided by the facility, you will be allowed to wear your own clothes once you have been assessed and your belongings have been searched.

16. Talking with other patients is permitted and encouraged in common areas. You may not under any circumstances allowed in each other’s rooms.

17. Romantic and intimate relationships are not permitted between patients. These kinds of relationships bring up very intense emotions, which may be very difficult to handle if you are already going through mental health problems. If you are found being romantic or intimate with another patient, you both will be separated and/or one of you will be transferred to a different facility.

18. You are expected to show tolerance and respect for any of these differences in both patients and staff, just as they should show you the same tolerance and respect

19. You are not allowed any visitors that are not in the program until you are discharged.

20. No cell phones allowed and will be taken away upon entering

21. Your name band must be worn at all times

22. You may use television and stereo system during free time as long as it isn’t too loud

23. Eat at meals and if not, you will be given an IV with nutrients. If you pull out the IV, you will be sedated and restrained.

24. Lights out at 11p.m. If you are having difficulty sleeping, alert a nurse and medication will be given.

If you are placed in Safe Assistance, they see you as infected. Therefore, they will remove the parts of you that are infected.

I beg all of you, please don't try and fight me when for example, I am trying to do a time skip, or a patient gets sedated. I will play this smartly and it won't me constantly but literally if I listed it in the rules of the facility as a consequence, you gotta know its coming but I will let you know beforehand and I'm even willing to discuss it with you if you have a different idea. Trust me, I want to see this idea blossom since its something I have wanted to do for a long time. I will do the best I can with being the GM and trust me, if you feel as if I could do something better or you have a concern about something, address me. I can take criticism and I am open to suggestions. Please and thank you!

The yellow pill. This is given to you with a paper cup filled with water. You are expected to take it before every psychiatrist appointment. When you ask what it is for, they say it's to relax you. When you take it, it is like a sense of calm filling your body and you are inclined to answer honestly what is asked of you.

The green pill. This is given to you with another paper cup filled with water. You are expected to take it right after every psychiatrist appointment. They say it is just another relaxer. When you walk away, you won't realize it but you can't remember what you talked about in the appointment.

The purple pill. It is not seen around and doctors won't be the ones giving them to you. If you want the pill, it comes at price. Are you willing to pay for it?

The black pill. This will only be given to you once.
