Please use the links above for your respective pack that you wish to join. Also, Black Skulls is currently off limits to apply to, aside from the one person who expressed interest in them, until Ithidin gets some more people. Thank you for understanding.
Ithidin needs high ranks, particularly an alpha.
Rules:
1. All RPN rules apply.
2. No killing off other characters unless you get permission from the other role player.
3. You may have as many characters as you can manage but do not make them just to kill them off.
4. Realistic face claims and real wolf images only. No anime-wolves or anime face claims.
5. If you are leaving the role play, your characters will be listed as missing for a week and then declared dead. Please notify scorpiodragon or SilverInu if you plan on leaving.
5. You get four warnings for bad behavior. Warning 1 is a message concerning your behavior and asking you change it. Warning 2 is a probationary period. Warning 3 is a week ban. Warning 4 is a permanent ban and you will be ignored, any posts you make will be ignored and and your characters will be automatically killed.
6. Wolves go into heat twice a year, once in the winter with pups born in spring and once in spring with pups born in summer.
7. Must be active in a high rank. If you are inactive, then you will be demoted to a middle or lower rank and another wolf can take their rank.
8. Either SilverInu or scorpiodragon can accept characters for either pack. Characters may not role play until they have been accepted.
9. High-ranks must be active 3 times a week.
6. You can be another animal besides a werewolf, but it it is once every ten generations and is extremely rare. There can also only be one other were animal per pack, unless you are an alpha and then you can have the possibility to have a second shift into another creature.
Pack Rules:
1. All lower and mid ranks must listen to and obey Alpha to Shaman Apprentices.
2. Harming a mother or their pups results in an automatic demotion to omega.
3. Harming or trying to kill a member of the high ranks is grounds for a trial and then a consequence such as demotion, a pack beating, having to live on the outskirts of the pack and eat after the omegas, banishment or death.
4. Loners should not be harmed and prevented from crossing into the territory but can step over the border and wait for a patrol to bring them in.
5. Rogues should be killed on sight for they are dangerous unless they can prove they can be nonthreatening and want to be part of a pack. Rogues will have to go through a probationary round and if they can prove within a month, they can be moved to omega. If they can further prove themselves then they can earn another rank.
6. All loners who are allowed to join the pack begin as subordinates until they get the trust of the higher ranks, a period of no less than six months and no more than eighteen months. Loners will be in the pack on a probationary basis and are not allowed very far into the territory.
7. The fighting ring is used for fights or minor disputes.
8. Alphas and Shamen or their apprentices cannot be taken lest it be declared a war. Shamen or Apprentice Shamen can be borrowed if an ally pack does not have a Shaman or Shaman Apprentice.
9. Rogues will do anything from kidnapping to petty theft and should be avoided.
10. If a pregnant female or pup is taken by another pack, it can result in a beating. If a loner takes it then it results in a beating and if the pup is injured or killed in the loner's care then it can result in a pack beating or death. If a pup is taken by a rogue then the perpetrator(s) will be hunted down and killed.
11. Mates are for life and should be treated with respect.
12. Omegas and Eta must show subservience to higher ranks at all times.
13. During hunting season (winter), teams composed of 1 delta or 1 gamma and 1 Upsilon, 1 Psi, or 1 Lambda will be sent out to hunt. If a Delta or Gamma cannot leave the pack due to other duties, then 1 Lambda, 1 Psi and 1 Upsilon will be sent out to hunt in teams of three.
14. Betrayal of the pack, attempted murder on the alphas, the murder of a mother or pup or working with humans or enemy packs is grounds for banishment or death, depending on the crime.
15. Lower ranks must seek permission from a higher rank but not always to have pups. If a lower rank mates without permission of an alpha, then their pups are taken from them and raised by other pack members while the lower ranks are punished.
16. The alpha pair are the main breeding pair of the pack, other wolves must prove they are able to balance their rank(s) and a family by fighting the alphas and betas (males) or deltas and gammas (females).
17. If a wolf breeds with a loner or rogue they can be punished as well as the rogue or loner by being beaten and chased out and the pack member will be demoted in rank. If a wolf breeds with a human, the human must be tested and put through a trial to be sure they will be quiet about the pack and keep their secrets. Wolves cannot make with other enemy packs but may mate with an allied or neutral pack with joint permission from the alphas and betas.
18. Pups are trained from birth to go to the bunker and remain there until an alpha or a high rank comes to let them out.
Black Skulls Traditions
1. We are a very traditional and family-oriented pack. Respect is a natural thing among our members and respect for the alphas is something that is custom and expected from visitor and resident alike. We share the load as we are a family and work together from the lowest omega to the alpha to create a home of harmony.
2. It isn't unusual for the members of the pack to have 2 ranks, one that is a major rank and one that is a minor rank.
3. It is a rule that the mothers and pups are fed first. The eating order, once the mothers and pups are fed, falls in order of rank from alpha down to omega. Despite pups being omegas within the pack, they are the future.
4. The pack may share food among each other, such as in winter and during ceremonies such as the birth of a pup, the graduation of an adolescent who has passed their training as a subordinate, or during a meeting with allies. In this case, everyone may eat to their heart's content and ranks do not apply in such cases.
Werewolves in Ithidin begin to change between eleven to fourteen years old when they reach werewolf puberty. This is brought on due to the change in hormones they experience as they enter puberty.
Ithidin Traditions
2) Expecting mothers and pups will always be cared for for they carry or are the life blood of the pack and will always be fed first.
3) When pups are ready to leave their child hood behind they must go through the right of passage where they are given a week to collect as much prey as they can. They are only given a month of training before they are sent out to gather as much prey as they can and each night a member of the pack will collect the prey and bring it to the pack house to be stored for a feast on the last night of the right of passage. no one is allowed to help and only weapon allowed is a knife.
4) Heirlooms of the family are passed down from one family member to another this can be a peace of jewelry or pottery. Depending on what the item is depends on who it is passed on to. Some of the items will be only passed on to the first born child unless it is a gender oriented family where it's passed on to the male or female. There will sometimes be more than one heirloom so if the family has more then one child at least two will receive an heirloom

Ranks from highest to lowest. The higher in rank you are, the more respect you get in the pack.
Alphas- (1 minimum, 2 max)
The leaders of the pack, they are first in command and their word is final. They are the most dominate wolves in the pack and reproduce only with each other, sometimes, but always, a mated pair. They take an interest in what goes on in their pack and if they have been away for any length of time look to the Beta to learn of what goes on in the pack. Alphas cannot challenged except in the case of a bad alpha for Black Skulls. Alphas can be challenged at any time by a stronger wolf but the challenge must be witnessed by a representative from each family in Ithidin.
Betas- (1 minimum, 2 max)
This rank must be earned.
Betas step in if the alphas cannot do their work or die. They are the bodyguards and advisers to the alphas and in charge of the warriors. They work to maintain peace and order in the pack as well as have solid say in important matters. Considered enforcers of the pack laws and will not hesitate to put others in their place. Backup the alphas in superior conflict.
Deltas- (minimum 1, max 7)
This rank must be earned.
They are the messengers of the pack, the go between among the allies and sometimes even the axis. They risk their own lives by doing so, but it is their duty and must make sure that those who need to know are told. Those who seek this position must be agile, patient and have an even temperament while speaking with other packs. They back up the superiors in times of conflict. They work to maintain peace and order in the pack as well as have solid say in important matters. The Deltas may go with the alpha or betas to negotiate treaties with other packs. They handle a lot of the smaller issues and serve as backup for the superiors in times of conflict. Delta are responsible for keeping the lower ranks in order. They are the lead hunters in the pack. They lead the packs hunts when the Alpha or the Beta when substituting tell them to as well as overseeing the warriors. They make sure that the entire pack is well fed and will not starve. They oversee as well, that the pack will have a well-balanced diet. They excel in combat and often do assassinations that the alpha asks.
Gammas- (minimum 1, max 5)
This rank must be earned.
They are the peacekeepers of the pack, using mediation between those who are angry with one another. The Alpha may take them with them to speak with another pack over starting a treaty. They make sure that no serious fights break out within their own pack. They may at times also work with the Delta. The Gammas are the voice of the pack and in charge of the main body of the pack. They are the friendliest of the higher rank wolves and have training in every rank and will help out within the lower ranks as needed, considered the 'subordinates' of the higher ranks, backup superiors in times of conflict, pass stories down to the rest of the pack and are valued advisers of the alphas. The gammas give orders to Upsilon and issue orders on where to patrol. Their job is to ward off intruders and are responsible for the safety and wellbeing of the pack. Though they should only resort to violence should peaceful persuasion fail.
Shaman- (5 maximum)
This rank must be earned.
These are the most skilled wolves in healing. They oversee the history of the pack, ceremonies and funerals, messengers and have the most healing knowledge. They are the medics of the pack, knowledgeable in herbology. They have vast knowledge upon what plants and other natural resources will help cure and heal others. These members oversee caring for the sick and injured of the pack as well as raising orphaned pups and caring for the mothers in the nursery. These wolves have a special understanding and knowledge of herbs and plants. They also help keep peace in the pack, helping with the deduction of fights among its members. They delight in telling stories to pups though sometimes what they tell is just legend, but still each story usually has some sort of moral to it and they are in charge of raising the orphans.
Shaman Apprentice- (5 maximum)
These members must be chosen by a Shaman.
Each Shaman takes an apprentice that they choose upon their ninth birthday. They learn the ways of healing from their mentor and the other healers but do not have much say within politics, however they can attend meetings and go to negotiations to learn. They help the Shaman care for the orphans and help within the nursery.
Xi (unlimited number)
They are the warriors of the pack. Those who hold this position are loyal and quick to follow orders. The Xi's main job is to serve and protect. Life as a wolf is fast paced and at times brutal, meaning one has to be physically ready to face anything and with this in mind they often receive additional training. Warriors often accompany patrols and hunts to serve as extra muscle along with guarding the den especially when there is cargo as precious as pups within it to help put the pack's minds at ease. While others are by no means helpless, Warriors are typically better equipped to handle large scale attacks such as a fight with another pack. They observe for danger and keep an eye on the higher ranks. Trained and given this position by their skills, they are the ones who protect the pack from any other canines and threats, roaming alongside with the Scout(s) to ensure its safety. Some Warrior(s) will stay with Scout(s) and watch in one of the shifts for no one knows for sure when a threat will appear, always being ready. Suggested when taking this rank, Warrior(s) must be quick thinkers but also have common sense as well as being able to remain calm in any given situation. They may at times even assist the Lambda and escort the Upsilon. Should an unwelcome visitor infiltrate the packs territory they are able to call upon the Deltas or Betas.
Lambda (unlimited)
They are the hunters of the pack. They follow the Alpha or the Deltas in the hunts. They have stealth and agility on their side and together can take down larger prey. These wolves are responsible for providing for the nourishment of the pack. They hunt and forage for food. Their main duty is to keep an eye on their resources such as water supplies and potential den areas. he hunters of the pack are the main ones to provide fresh kills and they work day and night to find enough to satisfy the growing pack. Their patrols may vary in size depending on the terrain and prey they are targeting; from chasing hares and deer in the forest using only a pair to five and up for larger take downs ranging from elk to moose and bison in the open plains. They must be athletic and able to follow orders efficiently and without question as well as bounce back from injuries that frequent their profession from kicks to wounds from horns. Overall a key staple and back bone to the pack, for where would they be without these selfless providers. Should an unwelcome visitor infiltrate the packs territory they are able to call upon the Deltas or Betas.
Psi (unlimited)
The guards are divided into two different ranks. There are pack guards which help the warriors in defending the pack and escort the Lambda and then there are the den guards that guard the mothers and their pups, provide food for them, etc. They are responsible for leading the pack into a hunt. Their duty is to keep track of natural resources, finding dens and areas of abundant food for the pack. They also must keep watch of the pack, making sure to call the Gammas, Deltas, or Betas. Psi train with the warriors and the pack guards may go on hunts or patrols but usually tend to stay around the pack village.
Upsilon (unlimited)
These members may have been a Lambda at some point but are generally lean in build and quick minded. They might be natural loners who prefer being on their own. The scouts and spies main job are to collect information, be it from other packs, humans or others that pose a threat and assassinate anyone as needed or asked by the higher ranks. Constantly at the border of the territories, Upsilon are sent out to guard and report anything suspicious or that would threaten the packs wellbeing. The canines who are sent out to investigate other packs, including rivalry packs and from time to time allies. Acting like news, they bring any news of all types. Dangers, betrayals, alliances, and packs becoming rivals. Not any wolf is chosen for this task, for if they are ever figured out by the others, it could lead them to their death. Part of daily life as an Upsilon is going on patrols as it is vital for the pack's safety. The size of the patrol may vary and in the pack's early stages may even include non scout ranked individuals to prevent others from taking on this task alone. There is no specific time line, they may be sent in the morning, afternoon, or evening, and occasionally in times of crisis more than once per day. The life of an Upsilon is a difficult one, while it certainly can be filled with adventures it isn't all sunshine and often times the lifestyle drives many into a lonesome depressive state or forces them to embrace their inner assassin. Tasked with the darker side of ensuring the pack's safety, they may be sent on secret missions to enter opposing packs for many reasons; mostly ranging from intelligence gathering to sabotaging to assassinations of high ranking or simply unlucky wolves. They must be intense actors, willing to play any part, and yet remain loyal at their heart to themselves and their pack despite the many faces they may wear. They must be agile enough to take on canines of equal or greater abilities without hesitation. They often are the background workers who clean up messes the pack is best left unaware of but are vital none the less.
Pups (depends on the alpha-Ithidin only):
They are the lowest members of the pack, being the offspring, but the most important. Anyone under the age of fifteen qualifies as a pup. All pups must show subservience to all higher ranks above them, grow fast and strong.
Subordinates (unlimited)
The main body of the pack, these members have training in every rank but often help the guards guard the mothers and omegas. They help as needed within the other ranks. These are adolescents and newcomers to the pack and must prove themselves before they are given a better ranking or can be wolves who don’t fit into the other ranks. However, they need to be careful and achieve a higher ranking least they become the Omega. They know much about each thing. They often work with the Shamen to teach the pups as well as the adolescent subordinates and others who might need a bit more knowledge within the pack.
Etas (unlimited-only for Black Skulls)
Less dominant members of the pack, not timid enough to be omegas. They help the Shaman in the nursery and patrol/hunt as needed. They are the peacekeeper of the pack, using mediation between those who are angry with one another. The Alpha may take them with them to speak with another pack over starting a treaty. They make sure that no serious fights break out within their own pack. They may at times also work with the Delta or Upsilon. Often the other members will come to them to confide in, because it is the duty of the Eta to keep such confidences confidential and try and help those who come to them by giving them advice and advising them on what might be best for them. Although they are not always right but should be able to help and be a good listener. It is also advised that they themselves do not make judgements of others.
Omegas (unlimited)
At the bottom of the system, Omegas are the wolves with little to no power. The omegas are the pups (Black Skulls), timid members or members who fail their training, and elders. They do all the chores around the pack. They help to make others laugh when things get stressful and are the scapegoats of the pack.

Okay, so this is a twin pack role play where I ( scorpiodragon ) and SilverInu each run a pack. Each pack will be separate role plays and there will be a third role play for fighting, trading, etc. which will take place in the neutral territories and human city. This is a werewolf only role play and though there are vampires, they will be non-playable characters. The packs you can sign up for are Black Skulls (an asian-centered role play that I play) and Ithidin Pack (american-centered role play SilverInu ). The packs are on good terms but nobody within Ithidin Pack remembers the reason why the packs had a falling out. Only one elderly member in Black Skulls remembers what the reason was for the fallout.
