Realistic or Modern Thrillville.

Zack shook his head. "No." He pointed over to the guy a few meters from them. Zack blushed a little. Emily was as cute as Abel. "I'm Zack." Zack looked around again. "Do you know where Kora is?" Zack just really wanted to meet his shift partner and start work, but I guess It's okay to make some friends along the way. Zack looked back down at his sleeves again, just double checking if it was visible.
@SpectroVector

Abel followed Zack with curiosity. He was curious who would use a bell, especially in a amusement park. He walked, or followed Zack, to be more precise, to the woman he saw not long ago when he arrived here. He listened to her words with his hands in his pocket, then his mouth watered a little at the mention of snacks. Suddenly he felt the urge to have a chocolate bar in his mouth.

He didn't had the chance to look at the schedule as his thoughts were elsewhere. However, he did noticed Zack walking to a girl, with pink hair and piercings. Zack tapped her shoulder and Abel watched their little exchange of words. When she asked if Zack was him, he smiled a little.

"I'm Abel." he said, barging slowly into their conversation.

He took a peek at the schedule and saw his name next to an Emily. He figured she was Emily. But when he saw the carousel part, he groaned a little. He wasn't a fan of them, despite the majority of people's opinions about them. At least he was in charge of them, not going on them.

"You must be Emily, I get it?" he said, as another strain of his hair fell on his hair. "I hate you." he told his hair, as if his hair could hear or talk.

@SpectroVector

Emily felt suddenly awkward as Zack pulled down his sleeves, visibly hiding something. but she was cut off by man with long hair tied in a bun and a piercing in his ear. "Oh, hi." She blushed, and she never blushed. "Yeah I'm Emily." She said, totally forgetting about Zack. And then he made a joke, and she giggled very annoyingly, even to herself. "Sorry," She spoke, "It wasn't that funny." And she suddenly felt like she had offended him. "No-um," She sighed, "I guess we have to man the carousel together, huh?" She sighed once again, but inwardly at her own lameness. Talking to attractive boys weren't her strong suite-she usually just hung around with the gamer geeks at school, or girls who shared her interests, so it was easy to talk to them.

She gulped and waited for a reply, trying to hold her posture and tucking a piece of stray pink hair behind her ear.

Zack sighed. As usual, he was either being ignored or people barging into his conversations. "Um...I'll just leave you two..." It was clearly visible that Emily was attracted to Abel, meaning that Abel will probably be attracted to her. He walked away, waving a hand. Zack slowly walked over to the bumper cars, inspecting the ride. He looked around and was happy that no one was there. He walked over to the control box, switching it on. Zack leaped over the fence and jumped into a car. He started zooming around, bumping into other cars. This was the most fun he had in a long time.

@Icefox11

He listened to Emily speak and raised an eyebrow as she got, what he presumed, in a weird position. With the corner of his eye, he noticed how Zack felt disappointed and walk away. What's wrong with him, he asked himself. Someone who had it worse than me, eh?

Zack walked away, leaving Abel with Emily all alone. He watched him go and then, when he disappeared from his eye sight, he turned his attention to Emily. He pulled out his hand from his pocket -which he had in the moment he began following Zack- and hid the strain of hair behind his ear.

"Don't worry, my real jokes are more horrible." he said. "And so it seems. Although, I hope you will be the one talking with the customers. I'm a turn off when it comes to talking with people. Very plain." he told her, sliding his hand in his pocket.

Alexis "Alex" Brown________________________________________________________________________________________

Alex raised an eyebrow when the guy visibly blushed. Maybe he wasn't used to touching other people, maybe he was allergic, either way the reason was beyond Alex, and it seemed strange to him. "So...um what bunk is available for me?" He asked, abruptly letting go of his hand. Alex awkwardly let his hand drop, a bit surprised over how to react to the seemingly unplanned letting go of his hand. He indicated the bunk bed above his with his thumb of his shoulder. "That one's the only one left. Go ahead and grab it."

Suddenly a bell was heard outside, and Alex opened the door slightly to peek out. An elderly woman he'd missed before was talking to a couple of girls outside and holding a large bell. "I'm gonna check this out Jaxson." He said before slipping out through the door and approaching the woman. "My names is Linda, I am the owner of the park. My husband, George is up in the coffee room. That's where you can get snacks and such. He usually puts on a good spread of food." He managed to catch her saying to the girl. She handed her a schedule, and Alex approached her. "Hey, excuse me, can you tell me what I'm supposed to do real quick? My name's Alex Brown."

(Asking Emily, not the old woman)

Jaxson nodded gratitude to Alex. He stood there for a minute longer than walked over to his designated bunk. Jaxson scrambled up the ladder and placed his bag down onto the bed.

"I'm gonna check this out Jaxson."

Jaxson turned and saw the back of Alex walking away. He stood there on the ladder debating whether to stay or check it out for himself. He hesitated before he decided to check it out himself.

Slowly he walked down the hall and peered over the corner. He spotted two girls and the two other guys, one was Alex and the other a name he did not know.
Where's Alex?

His eyes wandered in search of his other bunkmate. He then shrugged his shoulders and decided to walk out and join in on the group. Jaxson heard Alex asking the elderly woman what to do. He looked around and saw others holding a scrap of paper.

Kora was about to say something when the sound of a bell hit her ears. She watched her roommate zoom off, and she sighed, getting a few things out of her bag before hopping off the bed. Before she left, she switched her cameras for the less expensive one, so that if it got destroyed, she wouldn't be to mad. Smiling, she fixed a piece of hair and walked out of the room.

Kora walked out, seeing something new hanging on the wall. It was a schedule sheet, seeing her name on the bumper cars. She smiled and looked around and saw Emily with her partner, and it looked like she was interested in him. She let a smile draw to her face as she opened the door and shut it behind her, leaving them to have time alone.

She walked out, looking around. After a bit of searching, she found the bumper cars. And guess who was riding in one, Zach. She smiled and picked up her camera, taking a picture. She then lowered it from her face. "Hey. You can't have all the fun." She shouted over the clanging, hopping into one of the cars and bumping into him.

(Lol, You mean Zack. Not Alex xD )

Zack looked up at the shout and smiled. This was probably Kora, and damn. She was even hotter than Abel and Emily mixed together. This was the one Zack was looking for. He blushed a little, bouncing back when she bumped him. He shouted out, "It's on now!" He laughed, feeling somehow more comfortable around Kora than the others. He twisted the steering wheel, starting to circle her and when he was behind her, Zack went full speed at the back of the cart. This caused her to move almost half-way down the whole area. He winced a little at the noise scared that with the impact it might have hurt Kora. Zack was always the kind and gentle one. "You okay?" Zack asked.

Kora smiled at Zach, giving him a challenging smile. She watched him circle her, smacking her across the floor. She slammed into the other cars, causing her head to bob forward a bit. But when she raised it, she had a smile spread across her face. "You're on!" She yelled, speeding across the area and doing the same to him, hitting him away from her cart. She smiled and pulled out her camera, taking a picture of his spinning cart before getting ready for another move.

(And that is why you eat before you write)

Emily nodded, staring at the man, "Sure. I guess we should get going, then?" Em smiled. But her gaze was interrupted by another voice. She turned to find yet another handsome guy standing before her. "Ah-Um, here-" She shoved the schedule into his hands with force. and then patted his hand gently, in case she had hurt him, "Sorry, I truly am. I can be a little clumsy sometimes." She grinned and blushed once more. Then she looked down at her feet. "Please excuse my cheeks, they seem to have a real tendency to turn rosy today." She gulped.

Abel raised his eyebrows as Emily shoved the schedule into Alex's hands. Then she apologized about heat going to her cheeks. Abel laughed silently about her words. He quickly covered his mouth to hide that. He coughed, once time, two times. He cleared his throat afterwards and then pulled out his pack of cigarettes.

"I'll be waiting at the carousel, if you decide to show up." he told her.

He walked outside the building and quickly pulled out his box of matches, taking one from within the box and using it for his cigarette. He took a couple of puffs before walking towards the carousel. From a distance, he could see Zack with a girl.
Someone is having fun, he said to himself. When he arrived at the carousel, he stared at it. Just stared, like it was a piece of art.

"It looks nice. Could use some caring hands there and there." he said, putting his hands on his hips.

Alexis "Alex" Brown________________________________________________________________________________________

Alex recoiled when the papers were pushed into his hands, leaving them mistreated and messed up in his hands. They hadn't broken, but that had been unnecessary. He was about to look back up at the girl and give her his cold usual attitude, but her way of excusing herself got to him. A small smile adorned his face when he looked at her.
"Don't worry about it, I've gotten worse." The guy she'd been with seemed a bit uncomfortable, and then left them with a somewhat condescending sentence. Alex followed him with his eyes and a raised eyebrow until he realized he probably just put his sentence in a weird way. He might've meant nothing to the girl.

He looked back at the girl, who'd turned to staring down at her feet to avoid showing him her blushing. He extended his arm and put a hand on her shoulder.
"Ah, it's fine. Sometimes blushes just happen, right?" He raised the piece of paper with his other hand and quickly looked over where he was supposed to be. With Jaxson at the ferris wheel? Not too bad. He lowered the scrap again, and added "Some might even consider it cute."

He looked over his shoulder and noticed Jaxson.
"Hey Jaxson, turns out we're on the same ride. Ferris wheel. You ready to go?" He turned back towards the girl and offered her the piece of paper while taking his hand off her shoulder. "You know my name now, by the way. What's yours?"

@LifeNovel

@SpectroVector

Jaxson was busy admiring the rides from afar when Alex said his name. "Mmm?" he asked, not quite hearing what he said. Jaxson walked over and got a peek at the schedule in Alex's hands. "Oh the ferris wheel," he mumbled with amazement. "The glorious ride of love, whether it be with family, friends, or loved ones," Jaxson gave a small smile. He was always fond of ferris wheels, yearning to ride one with someday his loved one.

Jaxson then saw that he was working with Alex. His eyes widened a bit and he took a step away from Alex. He has already made things awkward with Alex. And not only that, now he is going to be working with the guy. He then noticed within their awkward atmosphere that they weren't the only two. His eyes looked up and he saw a girl, one of whom Alex was talking to and she seemed to have shoved the schedule into Alex's hands.

Cotton candy colored hair with blue streaks and glasses with piercings. She seemed to be around 18 or 19 years. Jaxson could see she was blushing and looking down, perhaps from Alex's good looks.

Can't blame ya, hun.

Jaxson kind of liked the girl right off the bat. She seemed to hold a positive vibe like him. "And you too know my name from the schedule, Jaxson. What is yours?"

Zack looked back at Kora, a little worried by how determined she looked. As Kora slammed into him, he flinched a little, the seat belts digging into the scabs on his chest. He could feel that it had pulled the scabs and he knew that it was probably bleeding. He turned his car to face forward, in the direction of Kora. He tried the play it cool and slowly took the seat belts off. He held up his hands in surrender, smiling a little. He looked down at his shirt, seeing that some blood had seeped through. He muttered, "Shit..." He jumped out of the car and walked over to the control panel, switching off the plug.

She heard Abel speak beside her, but her mind was all over the place and she didn't even hear him. "Um, Emily." She looked back up at him, the colour in her cheeks brightening, the fact that he may or may not have just called her cute didn't make it any better and only messed with her further. "But I uh-I gotta go!" She said, circling around and going towards the Carousel, though she had no idea where it was.

After walking for thankfully only a few minutes, Em found the carousel and saw Abel stood beside it, his hand on his hip. She jogged towards him and stopped just next to him and looked up at the carousel. It was all right; no better than other carousel really. Bright colours and tacky horses. She couldn't wait.

She looked to her left, the the long haired boy and stared at the cigarette in his mouth.
Oh gees, she thought. Emily was perfectly fine with cigarettes, if they wanted to ruin their lungs, it was their choice, but she was awfully uncomfortable standing around someone who was puffing out toxic second hand smoke. Awkwardly, she pulled her pink superman t-shirt over her mouth and passed it off as being cold as she spoke, 'Wow, it's cold out here." And moved towards the carousel.

She squeezed passed the horses and into the booth in the middle which was tiny for two people-Em sure as hell hoped Abel wasn't going to smoke in here. There were two chairs, one that spun and another plastic static one. Of course, Em took the spinny one, sitting down on it and turning towards a desk and a panel of buttons. It was more simple than she thought it would have been-Just a lever for go and stop and and emergency stop button. It wasn't too bad.

Kora smiled, seeing as he raised his hands in defeat. But she could feel her smile gradually drop as she saw drops of blood seeping though his shirt. She saw him dash up and she quickly unfastened herself from the cart, getting out. "Hey, are you ok?" She asked, half walking half running towards him. She felt kind of guilty for running into him so hard, as she looked at his shirt, which was stained red now.
@Flipperdoo2003

Zack lifted his head to Kora, embarrassed. "Y-Yes. J-Just please s-stay there..." He mumbled, lifting a hand, gesturing for her to stop running. He lifted the bottom of his t-shirt, quick enough for only him to see what was underneath. What he saw was usual for him. Zack had always been very skinny and he wasn't very muscular; But over all this, there was scars. Self-harm scars. Some new, some old. The new ones were bleeding, obviously. He bit his lip, looking down at his red-stained shirt. "Um...Can you help me?" He looked down at the floor.
@Icefox11

Kora stopped as he held up a hand. Curious, she stopped a ways away from him, looking strait at him. He appeared to be checking something out as he flipped his shirt up for only a moment, not letting her see what was underneath. She looked at him. When he asked for help, she nodded. "Sure, anything." She said, biting her lip. She felt bad about ramming into him now, and not the good kind of bad that you feel when you see your enemy crying, the kind of bad you feel when you just broke someone's heart on accident.

@Flipperdoo2003

Zack walked over to the edge of the track, slipping on his blue hoodie. He had taken it off when he had jumped into a bumper car. He walked over too Kora, keeping at a comfortable distance. He bit his lip looking back over at her. "It's not your fault..." He mumbled, looking into her beautiful eyes. "But, Please don't tell anyone." He said nervously. Zack presumed that she had realized that it was self-harm cuts and scars. He ran a finger through his hair, waiting for her reply.

@Icefox11

He stared at the carousel with intrigued eyes, as if he never saw a carousel in his whole life. It gave him that feeling, that well-known type of feeling, of the unknown, carefully mixed with a few drops of curiosity to ensure that he won't back down from it, to ensure that he would walk towards it, with steady steps and careful. Why he felt like this? Could it simply be that from now on he would work with this? A carousel? He could imagine himself, staying in the middle, watching every ones faces, possible with smiles. With happiness. And while doing that, he would be by her side and she would be his side.

The pink-haired girl, her name Emily. Her first couple of words echoed inside his head. It sounded like an insult. Hell, it might have been. But it wasn't intentional. Or so Abel believed. Or hoped. He looked at her, when she arrived by his side. She looked back at him too. And then, he just stared into her green eyes. Stared and stared. She was staring at his eyes too. Or maybe not, as she covered her nose with her shirt. It was his cigarette.
You don't smoke and don't like it either, eh, he thought to himself.

Emily ran towards the carousel. Something that Abel couldn't do. Or didn't wanted to do. He could run towards it. But he might get lazy. He might see the carousel as some symbolic stupid thing. But this time, it was a carousel, not a
symbolic carousel. Soon after she left, Abel followed. He threw his unfinished cigarette away, then stepped on it. He slowly followed Emily, squeezed between the horses and passed them with ease. When he arrived close to Emily, he remember how she said that it was cold. As if it was a reflex, he put his palm on his jacket and then on the zipper. He looked up from the zipper to Emily and opened his mouth.

"You cold? Need a jacket? It has cigarette smoke smell all over it. Maybe you won't like it." he said, then closed his mouth. "Its kinda cozy in here." he said, then stepped inside the booth with her.

He squeezed in and sat in one of the chairs. He patted his knees a couple of time, an attempt to make himself comfortable? He never understood why he was doing that. Nor he cared. He was too busy staring at the horses outside the booth.

"Why do I get the feeling this is like a bloody fortress?" he asked himself. "Hey Emily. I don't know about you, but it might be difficult to work in this. Well for me at least. Think you can bear with me?"

Emily almost jumped out of her skin when Abel arrived, but he offered her his jacket which made her forget that she had nearly been scared half to death by his presence. "Thanks." She grabbed it and put her arms into it, wrapping it around her. It was still warm and he was correct- it did smell of faded smoke, but there was something else above that, a soothing smell, or warmth, perhaps.

Abel began to speak of his inability to run the machine, but Emily didn't mind-if it came down to it, she would run it herself, it seemed easy enough to manoeuvre and she had played video games long enough to know that it didn't take her long to get used to some controls.

"It's fine." She said and stood up. "I think the schedule said we have to stay here until 3 and then we get a break." She folded her arms, running her hands over the smooth material on Abel's jacket.

Claire approached the rusty gates of Thrillville, feeling somewhat anxious. She's never had a job before, so didn't have any prior experience, or even a resume showcasing her school records, for that matter.

Pausing, Claire nearly decided to turn around, and move on. Maybe go back home. Though the situation there wasn't very good at all, at least she had a roof over her head, and a place to sleep. After fighting with herself for a few minutes, Claire finally decided to continue on, and pushed open the gates.

The place looked like it had probably once been quite a bit of fun, though due to how relatively rundown everything appeared to be at the moment, it was difficult to say for sure. As she stepped through the gate, she allowed herself a soft smile. Though she'd never actually been to Thrillville before, the place seemed to hold some sort of nostalgia for her, as if she could remember spending her childhood summer days at the place.

Claire's thoughts were interrupted, as her gaze fell upon a quite large, older man. His hair was tidied up in a poor attempt at a combover, which, quite frankly didn't do much to conceal the balding scalp underneath it. He wore an Argyle sweater which, Claire imagined, had probably seen better days. She quickly caught herself, realizing she was likely staring at the man, and that she didn't exactly have any place to be judging anyone, at the moment.

Claire's face quickly lit up with a smile, and she approached the man. She was here to inquire about a job, and he was the only one she'd run into so far, which led her to believe he may at least be able to point her in the proper direction.

"Hello, Sir. My name's Claire. Claire Rawlins. I'd heard Thrillville was hiring, and I was wondering if I might be able to apply for a job. Would you be able to point me in the right direction?" Her hands twisted anxiously as she spoke, despite her attempts to come across as calm, as she waited for the man's response.

@SpectroVector

Kora nodded, looking at him. "Of course." She said. Although she was a bit confused about the tell anyone part, as she was not sure what he was referring too. She had seen a glimpse of a few cuts on his chest, but nothing more. She let a small smile come to her face. 'Just be careful." She said in a quiet tone, smiling. She would keep this secret of his, because she really had no idea what he wanted her to keep between them.

@Flipperdoo2003

Zack sighed. "Well...That was a great first impression." He laughed, sarcastically. He moved his hand forward for her to take. "I'm Zack. Nice to meet you, Kora." He smiled. "I can take the morning shifts, if you don't want to of course. But we could even do it all together." He smiled again, beginning to enjoy this small conversation. Zack looked down at what she was carrying. He smirked, gently lifting the camera and walking beside her. He aimed the camera view at Kora and Zack. He was pouting, trying to be funny and clipped the camera. He smiled and slowly gave the camera back. "Beware. If you have a camera, we will share a lot of memories..." He smiled again, emphasizing on the 'lot'.
