Futuristic Those That are Hunted

Vulcan turned his head around, not his whole body because his wounded leg was hurting, bleeding more badly by the minute and his other leg wouldn't be able to hold him upright for forever. He was beginning to lose more blood than he had hoped he would and was slowly starting to turn pale. "Sweet move. Come over here, Damion. Do me a favor." When Damion was at his side he slowly pulled the tranquilizer needle out of his belt and handed it to him, whispering. "Look. I don't trust that Hayden was so easy to fool and surrender. And if he truly decides to snap that ice won't hold him... nothing will. Would you be able to stick this in his back, most preferably his neck. I would do it myself but..." he looked at his arms that were bleeding heavily. "Surprise him, jump from behind his shadow or something. You don't want to fight him, believe me."

Xander gave Vulcan a surprised look when he made it seem that Xander had something for Piper or something. Laughing it off, Xander said, "Very funny, Vulcan. I prefer women who don't buck me off their backs and into trees though. She's a bit too feisty for me." He smirked at Piper, but saw that she'd already disappeared, seemingly into thin air and without a sound. While he was a bit disappointed to see her leave, it was mostly for the fact that he was in awe of her dragon form and ability to become mythological beasts. Hearing Vulcan mentioning that he could hook up Xander with some women, he laughed again and rolled his eyes before saying, "I flirt more than I'm actually serious with women. I doubt I'd ever want to get serious with anyone."

Damion nodded and kept a steady eye on Hayden. Hayden would be Damion's target. If he snapped Damion would try and see if he could steal his power. He probably would never get the chance, and would have to wait, but he would try nevertheless. Damion held the dart and glanced at Hayden.

(I am an idiot, ain't I?)

(I see what you are trying to do but why do you wanna be so OP? Your gift sounds amazing as it is, develop it, become our new antagonist if you so wish to, but please please no more OPness. I mean, Prox was an awesome guy but his char, Hayden, was way overpowered. He came up with quite a rich lore for his gift (carried over generations, personal Heaven for the Pierce bloodline etc). I came up with mine (given from Death, that I now ironically lost) to balance our skills a little and make him a bit more beatable.)

(I wanted to have him fail and learn from his mistake, make him learn to use his own gift before trying to take another. If he fails and is in the face of death, he will be forced to master his own gift. Probably should have consulted you about that, sorry.)

Hayden sat with his knees on the ground. He felt the piercing cold of the ice cuffs on him, freezing his hands to the bone. He had a sick twisted smile on his face.

Damion watched the man and breathed silently. He slipped into the shadows and waited for nearly a full minute, watching Hayden for the slightest movement. Damion jumped from the shadows and stabbed the dart into Hayden's neck. Hayden gasped and fell to the ground, limp. Damion stood, removing the dart. Damion tossed it to the ground and looked at Vulcan, wondering what to do next.

It had been about 15 minutes before Amelie could her the helicopters in the distance. "About time." She muttered. In a few minutes two helicopters appeared and landed. Fully armored men came out. There where four of them in total each pointing guns at the rebel. "We got your emergency signal!" One of the men yelled. The other patted his shoulder and pointed at Hayden who was not he ground. The one who talked nodded his head at Hayden's body and two of the man strapped their guns back around their chest and retrieved his body. "Put the girl and the boy in to separate coppers!" Amelie yelled to them. They nodded. One took Toron and put him on the same helicopter that Hayden's body was in and the other led Kytha to the other one. "I'm sorry ma'am but the dog can't come." "The dog is with me." The man hesitated before nodding. Amelie hopped into the helicopter with Kytha and waited for Vulcan to join her. Once everyone got on the the man facing them said something into his headset and they lifted off.

Amelie felt like they were in the air forever but before long the HQ came into view. On the outside it looked like a small office building. Which the ground floor actually was. The landing pads where behind the building and everything was fenced off with barbed and electric wiring. There was only one enter encephalitis on foot and it was heavily gaurded. In reality even thing was underground. It was a lot easier to control gifted when there was only one way out. "Welcome to HQ. Not much to look at on the outside but it's quite amazing on the inside." Amelie didn't want to say too much about it since Kytha was still wide awake. more men were waiting on the ground. Once work got out thay Hayden had been capture they were taking all the necessary precautions. "Hayden will be brought to his own special cell somewhere even I don't know. The chief has a special place for him." When they landed they had a stretcher to carry Hayden and took him. The men took Toron and Kytha out and led them into the building. "They will be transfered to the last floor where we keep the gifted that will get transfered to the camp. Though Toron might not be sent there. His gift is something that would be good to have." Amelie didn't really want to say what they might do to him to make that happen.

After they walked in everyone was forced to stop at the desk. You could see people bustling around behind it and an elevator all the way to the right with only a down button on it. There was a retina scanner next to the secretary. "Name." "Agent 562339." Amelie responded and bent down with her right eye opened wide. When it finished the computer made a beeping noise. "Welcome back Agent Glass. All knew agents need to get their retina scanned." She looked at Vulcan and Damien. "After the chief is waiting for you all on B6."

(Is that good? I can add more about them going in if you want.)

(It sound very good, the autocorrects from time to time but one gets the point. And yeah, why don't you continue while you are at it)

(I'll just have my character get scanned or something.)

Damion looked at the woman and stepped forward and put his eye down to the scanner. The scanner copied his eye to it's hard drive and recognized him as Agent Shadow. Damion didn't give a second though, and looked back at Vulcan, expecting to follow him.

It wasn't the easiest thing to get inside the helicopter with the wind from the blades and the small jump they had to make, hardly using his hands and mostly one leg only. Luckily for him one of the SWAT men helped him inside. Vulcan wasn't too excited about flying but there was simply no other way to get there from their position. It was definitely the fastest way as well. He leaned back in the seat and closed his eyes, hoping he wouldn't get dizzy, sick or even fall asleep. He was exhausted. Luckily the horrible flight didn't last very long. He opened them again only once they were back on the ground. They got off and one they were outside he looked around, listening and smirking at for Amelie being like a tourist guide for them. He wondered what the camp gifted prisoners were sent to looked like but decided not to spoil his mood by the thought of that. They had cause for celebration after everything they had gone through. As they stopped at the desk Vulcan rolled his eyes in annoyance, desperately trying not to bleed all over the floor. He was not the most patient guy in the world and all those necessary procedures bored him to death. When they had to scan their retinas he bent down and let the device do what it was supposed to do. It immediately recognized him as agent 82535. Using numbers was still a much more convenient method of identification than names. They were completely unique and distinctive. As he heard that they had to meet up with the commander in chief he bit his lip a little. Their last meeting hadn't gone all that well and he internally hoped this time the elder man would be in a better mood and not turn him into his newest wolf rug for example.

"Do you mind telling the Chief we are heading to the infirmary first. In case you can't tell My partner here is bleeding all over your floor." The secretary looked at Amelie like she was stupid for making the chief wait but didn't say a word. "Come Vulcan. The infirmary is on the floor below this one." She heard clicking noise on the computer. "It's your lucky day Agent 82535. Agent 01 is still stationed here." The woman said. "That's Alpha." Amelie whispered to him. Alpha was definitely not the first agent to exist but she was the most important one. Amelie could feel her connection to Toron and Hayden break. They must have put their own cuffs on. At this moment Amelie took the chance to close up his wounds the best that should could and put on of his arm around her neck to help him walk. "Xander, Damien. You are welcome to come with us. Alpha will heal any injuries you may have."

Vulcan was glad Amelie had mentioned them going to the hospital first. He was pale from the blood loss and was feeling dizzy every time he moved his head, his vision darkening. He didn't want to see the chief at all either but he also knew that he wouldn't be able to avoid it in any possible way. Besides, why was he so worried, he hasn't done anything wrong and had helped deliver the rebels, proving that he was no spy for them. He just hoped his newly acquired and shortly thereafter lost gift had stayed unnoticed. He wasn't keen on being caged in as well and let anyone experiment around on him like a lab rat. "Thank you." His voice was growing weak and he felt like he could collapse at any moment. Her shard wouldn't have done so much damage had it not pierced an old scar and scratched the bone. His arms were also ripped to shreds by his own sharp teeth, from slightly above the elbows down to his wrists. Vulcan couldn't wait to see what this Alpha girl was capable of.

Amelie looked at him with worried eyes but she couldn't really act on it. She didn't want people in the agency to know about their relationship. Mainly because she didn't want it used against her. Amelie had to maneuver herself around all the office people. They didn't even glance at them. She pressed the down button. It didn't take long for it to reach them. She walked in and pressed B1. When the doors re opened they were greeted by a nurse. The walls were pure white and it bothered her. She felt weird about the lack of color and the sanitation. "Amelie!" Amelie turned and smiled at the little girl running their way. She was not wearing the frilly clothes she had on last time she saw her. Instead she had on a white sundress with flowers printed on it. Alpha gasped when she saw Vulcan and the patches of ice on him. "What happen to him?" Amelie shifted his weight to hold him up better. "Some rebel best him up real bad." Alpha frowned. "We caught them don't worry." Alpha walked around to look at the damage on him. "Place him on a bed and I'll get started." Her tone became serious instead of her normal carefree. Amelie carefully helped Vulcan on the bed. After she did Alpha ripped his shirt so she could put her palms directly on his chest. She closed her eyes and her palms glowed green. Amelie's ice melted off and his wounds slowly began to close. because of all the damage that was done it took a while for her to finish. "There done." Alpha removed her hands from his chest and blushed. Shew worked on agents all the time but older males don't usually come to her for help so seeing a man's bare chest was different. "How do you feel Vulcan?"

(Sorry if I power played your Character too much Vulcan. I can change it if needed.)

(yoooo whaaa? did she just call me sexy? an underage girl?! ahahaha... Nah, you haven't powerplayed me.)

Vulcan was about to ask why the heck they were going probably through the longest way possible, almost as if trying to avoid being seen by someone but he didn't. He was staring at his feet, almost dragging across the floor. If Amelie wasn't as strong as she was he would be laying unconscious on the ground. Vulcan admired her in every aspect, not quite sure though where that strength in her was coming from. She was at least a head shorter than him and still she was able to hold him upright. At least the cleaning personal would get quite a higher salary for cleaning up all that blood he was leaving behind. But still, a bleeding wound was better than an infected one, which in some cases would lead to amputating the limb. He didn't want to think about that possibility and besides, he had trust in that girl's abilities. When they reached the hospital area the whiteness of the room almost stung his eyes, causing him to blink. After a moment of recovering his vision a kid caught his eye. Amelie had mentioned her being young but he hadn't quite expected her to literally be a child. He couldn't help but respect her. At her age he had killed his first man and she had probably already saved the lives of countless others. When he was laid down on the hospital bed he sighed deeply, letting his limp body relax and sink into the soft mattress. When her palms suddenly glowed up he breathed sharply in and lifted up his head a little to see what she was doing. He couldn't believe his eyes. He had never believed in magic but this... this was completely out of this world. He stared at her, then back at her hands, at his wounds slowly closing. After a while she was done and he stood up, moving his arms and legs, looking at the spot that would have probably never recovered properly without her help, just like his leg. "This is unbelievable..." Another thing he had noticed just now was that all of his tattoos and muster had vanished and for the first time in so many years he had laid eyes on his pure warm skin tone, trying to ignore the old scars nevertheless, already wondering if he shouldn't tattoo himself again. If nothing else, they did a great job at covering up all his scars. "But I can't possibly appear before the chief dressed like that." He looked at his suit, ripped in all possible places. Whatever he wore, be it ordinary clothes or Kevlar, nothing lasted for too long on him it seems.

(Geez, you two are fast with this. xD )

Xander was surprisingly quiet for the most part as the agents made their way back to HQ and started sorting out everything with their recently completed mission. The helicopter ride had been relaxing for Xander at least, but he always felt tense when at HQ. He never did trust anyone in a suit, or anyone who worked in an office for that matter. As Amelie helped Vulcan to the hospital area, Xander smirked at a few workers who were either surprised or frightened by the bloody mess that trailed behind the group. It amused him how these office workers weren't used to such things. They really needed to get out more often. Upon arriving at the hospital area, Xander shared Vulcan's surprise at how young the healing agent was. He was amazed by her healing capabilities though. Such a remarkable ability and she seemed to have amazing control over it at such a young age.
