Futuristic Those That are Hunted

The Prime Minister sat in his office shuffling through paper work. He wanted to get work done but all he could think about was Rosalyn and if she was ok. Avi never wanted to send her out in the field for she was the only daughter he had left, but she refused to let him say no, for she wanted to rescue her youngest sibling as much as he did. Avi leaned back in his chair and sighed. Out of the corner of his eye, there was a glint. He turned to look at the pendant that once belonged to Rosalyn. It was brought back to him by the man called Stalker. He originally gave Rosalyn that pendant when she was young. When he was first told about that person having this pendant he didn't know what to think. Avi wasn't able to get in touch with her at the time when Stalker first came to them but Avi knew Rosalyn would only give that pendant to someone she trusted so it forced him to do the same. It was a good thing too, Stalker has been a huge asset. With him being his body guard Avi always felt as ease but it was time to send him out onto the field. Stalker had to have known Rosalyn at some point so maybe he was the best for the job. Brandon may care a lot for his daughter but because of that his feeling could get in the way and cause him to make mistakes. The others in the group would just follow his lead. I guess that settles it then. "Lauryn!" A woman with glasses opened the door. "Yes Mr. Prime Minister?" "Please bring Stalker in her. I need to talk to him." The woman nodded and closed the giant door behind her.
It took Lauryn a few minutes to reach the outside of the palace and locate Stalker. "Sir, the Prime Minster has requested your presence."
...He stood up almost mechanically and turned around placing his main foot on the top step while simultaneously pushing as he followed her lead he studied the architecture further. He admired the craftsmanship that went into each stone. Each stone told a story of the person who created it. He drew his attention to the lady infront of him. Slender, high heels, efficient was the vibe she gave off. As he followed the woman the pillars that created makeshift windows hit him with shadows every so often he turned his attention to the horizon. As they reached the oddly large doors to the prime ministers room Stalker made his way inside and kneeled bowing his head in the presence of the prime minister...

You summoned me?

(You Dont need to quote my posts also when our character talks please use quotation marks.)

Seeing Stalker kneel be for him Avi sighed. "You don't need to kneel to me. I'm not royalty or anything." He picked up a folder and held it out. "I have an assignment for you. My daughter Rosalyn hasn't checked in for a few days while she was in enemy territory. I sent a team out already but I'm worried they might get compromised. I want you to catch up with the team I sent out and make sure they keep on track and don't lose their head. Inside this folder is information on all of them. The one I am worried about is Brandon, the one in charge. Him and my daughter had a relationship and I'm worried his feelings might compromise the mission and make him do something rash. At some point you knee my daughter or at least your master did. She trusted you two and thats all the more reason why I want you to go after her." Avi waited for him to take the folder.

Tucker had watched everything happening in the animal room in silence, as his mind was still trying to wrap around the horrific sights of the animals that were sure to die soon. How could the agency be brought so low as to torture the animals like this? Seeing the extent of different species of animals present, Tucker called out to Matthew when he heard that he was all done, "What are all the kinds of animals here?" Glancing around while slowly walking down the rows of cages, Tucker found that there were a lot of dogs, cats, and mice, rats and hamsters, but there were even some chimps as well as rabbits. What else could be around here? Better yet, how were they going to take care of all these animals? Their food and water sources were no doubt going to dwindle over time. Tucker stopped short when he heard a cat mewling at him in what sounded like a terrified and hopeful tone. Turning towards the cat, Tucker soon was standing in front of its cage and looking over the young cat, which was a dark brown with black spots and a white undercoat. Glancing over the card hanging off its cage, Tucker soon learned it was an Egyptian Mau, though he'd never really heard of the breed before. Looking back at the cat, Tucker was surprised to find that it was now at the front of its cage and was crying at him while favoring its front left leg. What was wrong with it? Unsure, Tucker swung open the cage door and was even more so surprised when the cat leaned over the opening and began rubbing its head against Tucker's shirt and chest. Gingerly, Tucker brought his hand up to rub the cat's neck while he glanced around to see if Matthew or Kytha were nearby.

Xander looked up sharply when he heard Vulcan shouting at him. It took a moment's hesitation for Xander to process what was saying before he was jogging after Vulcan and asking him, "What's going on, Vulcan? What kind of commotion?" The last thing they needed right now was for a fight to break out. They didn't have an unlimited supply of medical supplies. They really couldn't afford for any fights to break out. Wait...what if the agency had broken in? Had they already been found out and were under attack? That wasn't any good either, especially since they hadn't set up much of a security yet.

Piper had been in and out of it for a bit when she suddenly woke to the distant sound of people arguing in the plaza area. Not wanting to feel useless any longer, Piper struggled to her feet and out of her bed, relieved that she was still in her usual attire and not some hospital gown. Luckily, most of the nurses and doctors were napping at the moment, all exhausted and drained from their work from earlier. Getting out of the infirmary, Piper then began walking towards the plaza, her partially bandaged wing hanging limply at her side, the tip of it dragging on the ground, and her other wing folded against her back. Her fox ears and fox tail still stood out like a sore thumb as well as her now blind, left eye, which was grey compared to the usual red color that her other eye was. Rounding a corner, Piper then stopped when she saw the uniformed group talking with a prisoner and Toron. What in the world...?

The chief smirked as he read through the files that were just handed to him. So they are triplets. Since Manjano and Tucker were in their custody as well as Piper, even if only for a short amount of time, the system was able to identify them as siblings. "This is fantastic new!" He laughed and the two guards that were always beside him, looked at him with curiosity. "Leon, get the headmistress of the PInewood Academy In Germany one the phone." 'Yes Sir.' The man said on the other line. The line started ringing and a woman answered the phone. 'Headmistress Rita speaking.' "I need to speak to Manjano Sinciato." He could hear the woman rustling around in the background when she heard his voice. 'Yes Sir! It'll take a moment for him to get here.' The Chief sighed. "Hurry please." The line went silent, he assumed because he was put on hold for her to make a call.

The headmistress pressed a red button to speak over the speaker. "Manjano Sinciato please report to the Headmistress' office. There is a phone call for you."

Hearing the announcement over the speak system of the school, Manjano sighed. He was back in his dorm room and busy as usual at his desk with homework for his classes. How was he supposed to pass his upcoming test in microbiology if he had to go deal with phone calls? Who could even be calling him? Pushing away from his desk and standing up, Manjano then used the key around his neck to lock the door to his dorm room behind him, as he then began weaving through the hallways of Pinewood Academy to the Headmistress' Office. His rags that he'd been wearing upon originally arriving at Pinewood Academy no longer existed and were replaced by a typical student uniform of a suit and tie. Even Manjano's hair was styled nicely and no longer sticking out every which way like it used to. A few minutes passed until Manjano was suddenly at the Headmistress' Office and knocking on the door before saying, "Manjano here. Who's calling me?"

"I don't know. But our guys have surrounded them. They aren't going nowhere." he said and halted at the elevator, waiting for it to arrive and take them down. Vulcan could easily just jump out of the window but Xander was a whole other matter. Vulcan's wolf form could in no way fit through that window to carry him on his back. Once their transportation had arrived, he quickly got in and pressed the down button. They had to hurry and yet the machinery didn't allow them to go all that fast.

Xander followed Vulcan into the elevator and then said, "I would hope we had them surrounded considering how many of us are here compared to how many there are of them." Muttering under his breath, Xander then added, "Let's hope they aren't from the Agency." Who knew what the Agency could be planning if they'd sent a small group in here. What if they were supposed to be the Agency's elite team or something? Piper was still out of the fight for now...and Tucker was no where to be seen.

"They aren't wearing our suits." he said simply, staring at the door and waiting impatiently for it to open. "Unless that's what their plan was from the beginning." he said and in that very moment the door swung open and he rushed out, running through the small hallway and after pushing the exit door with his shoulder, out in the open. He could see the group in the distance. They didn't seem hostile but it could always be some sort of trick to fool them into believing they didn't mean any harm. Vulcan continued running towards the invaders and the rebels, making sure to run at a normal human speed in order for Xander to keep up with him.

The Headmistress walked up and opened the door to let him in. "You have a call from the Chief." She ushered in into the room. "Just take it off of hold. I wonder what he wants to talk to you about." As she talked she looked over Manjano to make sure he looked alright. THe Chief may not be able to see him but it was a force a of habit when it came to the head of their organization. It was rare for that man to call the Academy himself so it must be important. After fixing the boy's tie she walked out of her office and closed the door behind her.

Manjano merely nodded in response to what the Headmistress said to him, not even uttering a complaint when she fixed his tie. His facial expression remained neutral, despite his history of fighting back with his words and even attempting to resist in every possible manner. That part of him was buried deep within though. That part of him showed no more. In fact, Manjano couldn't even recall that part of himself. Once the Headmistress exited the room, Manjano calmly walked up to the desk and then picked up the phone before pressing the button for it to come off of hold. In an expressionless tone, Manjano then said, "This is Manjano." Unsure of what else to really say, Manjano remained silent while he waited for the Chief to explain himself.

Kytha

Kytha looked back at tucker. "I see you found you're pet hey?" She walked over to him carefully holding the pup as she did so, making sure it wouldn't fall. She adjusted her grip and looked at the cat. "That paw will need some attention. We'll clean her up when we get out." She looked at him happily a little smile on her face. She finally would know who she is.

Cody

Cody followed behind Kytha making sure nothing came near her. When she stopped he sat confidently at her side, licked his jaws, and puffed out his chest. He loved his owner and would protect her in any way possible.

(Adding the others later)

While waiting the Chief had lit a cigarette. When he hear Manjano talk on the other line he took one last drag before talking. "I have a mission for you. Normally I wouldn't be the one making this call but it is extremely important mission." He took another drag. "One of our prison facilities in Germany has been taken over by rebels. It seems that those your age are more likely to run and join them. I have seen your marks and they are quiet impressive I must say." Another drag. "Anyway, I want you to infiltrate the rebel group and gain information and when the time comes to be able to take them down from the inside." By then he hoped to have more double agents inside the rebels group to help as well. "You leave at 0600. The driver will have a pair of clothes similar to the ones you came to us in. You will change into those before you leave. You will be given what looks like a charm but is really an electronic key that will allow you to access the computers so you can send us messages. It'll be up to you not to get caught." The Chief put his cigarette out. "Congratulations Manjano, you are now a field agent." At that the Chief hung up the phone.

Manjano remained silent on his end while the Chief spoke, wisely keeping his mouth shut so that he didn't interrupt the Chief at all. When the Chief finally hung up, Manjano felt stunned by the news. He was a field agent now? And he was going to a German prison facility, which had recently been overtaken by rebels? Blinking, Manjano slowly set down the phone and then numbly walked to the door before opening it and exiting the Headmistress' Office. If the Headmistress was nearby, Manjano didn't see her, as he then briskly began walking back to his room. Preparations were in order.

...Stalker stood immediately after the prime minister expressed disinterest in his common courtesy of bowing, and waited for him to finish speaking before speaking himself. He turned his attention to the folder he was holding out to Stalker. Stalker reached forward and grasped the folder with his left hand and opened the folder to examine it's contents...

"Brandon and Rosalyn, you want me to catch up to them and keep them out of trouble. Understood I will do my best, please point me in the direction they went and I will take my leave"

(Can you tag everyone you sent out so I know which roleplayers to look for? @Ch3rryBlossom28)

Toron

Toron looked at the group intently. "Make yourselves at home, we will get you all some food and water." Toron turned to forest with content. "Mind getting a group to get them food? Thanks." He turned back to the group. "Say, where are you all from?"

Forest

Forest nodded and grabbed three men who followed her down to the food court.
"Don't give them too much, we need enough for ourselves and everyone in this prison. The supply was renewed once a week so we will only have a couple days worth of food. It won't help that we now have extra mouths to feed." With that, forest grabbed a few bottles of water and put them in a bag before grabbing some grub. She and the men continued to stock up food for them. Hopefully it was enough.

Hearing what Toron said, Vulcan restrained his jaw from dropping with surprise. What were they doing? Giving access to their system and food to some strangers that had suddenly landed in the plaza out of nowhere? How wasn't that suspicious? He ran over to the boy and looked at him with an misunderstanding and disagreeing look. "What do you think you're doing? We don't even know who these guys are and we can't just waste resources on them. Send them on their way." he hissed. "And besides, since when are you in charge, hm?" Last he checked, all of this was Kytha's duty. Wherever she was, it was her who made the decisions around here, not her young teenage brother.

Toron

Toron swung around to Vulcan his face full of anger. "You weren't even here buddy. They are from another rebellion group and are looking for one of their people. It was the girl that Hayden had been talking about. And now Amelie has her and they are going to head out in the morning. I will talk with Kytha but you are way less infharge than me. I'm her brother and you are the man who promised her safety then betrayed her and went after her! You are no more than a spec of dust to her right now. And not to mention you murdered Hayden when she was going to put him to rest with ease! You don't ever come up to me again and tell me what to do!" Toron growled through his teeth but he knew everyone around him probably heard and he could feel the eyes on him. This man was not worthy of trying to tell him what to do. Not after what he did to his sister.

Vulcan took a couple of deep breaths to calm the beast inside of him that just wanted to take control over his body and turn this arrogant little boy into minced meat. Instead, a grisly snarl escaped his throat. "If something does happen, you'll be held responsible." he said and turned around to see if Xander was nearby, at the same time keeping an eye on the group of apparent rebels lead by this girl from previously. She had recovered quite quickly, considering how badly she looked then. In all honesty, he was in no mood to stalk them all night long, making sure they didn't do anything. And who knew? The government wouldn't send such a small group and order them to attack. They were more possibly spies, ordered to investigate the scene and report of what to expect from the rebels in a fight.

Brandon's eyes widen when Toron mentioned Amelie's name. He started speaking to his team in Hebrew. "If Amelie' has her we are going to have some major issues." Brandon switched back to English, his Israeli accent still pretty heavy. "Do you know if anyone else went with this Amelie?" Brandon knew only one other person who was stationed here and that was because the Prime Minister wanted to keep track of her and if that woman was with them then he was leaving now, with or without his team.

'I need you to get Rosalyn back safely. If I find that she was harmed in the process I will not be happy." His eyes narrowed at stalker. "And she is in Germany. Last she said she was heading to Lonewood Prison. So look in that area first."

(And right now only I have a character in the team but the team is in the prison interacting with everyone else's characters. Thats why I was sending your character to them so he can interact with everyone else.)

Xander remained at Vulcan's side throughout the interaction, keeping to himself mainly so as to avoid fanning any flames. Especially when Toron flipped on Vulcan. Narrowing his eyes at the teenager, Xander then said with his arms crossed over his chest, "And what about Piper? Does she no longer exist in the killing of Hayden? She was the one who weakened him and brought him to his knees before Vulcan did anything else. That death wasn't entirely Vulcan's fault, Toron." Glancing over at Vulcan, Xander quickly realized that they had no reason to be helping these people. They knew nothing of them. Suddenly, Xander overheard the group speaking in some foreign language with one another. Scowling at this, Xander waved his hand at his side to summon his fire wolf companion, whose fur shimmered a dark blue in the moment. The fire wolf gave a small growl while Xander walked up tot he supposed leader before saying evenly, "You will only speak in English while you are here. I don't know about those stupid teenagers, but I don't trust any of you. We don't know who you are or where you come from."

Small steps could be heard by anyone who had excelled hearing, as Piper walked up to the group barefoot, her shoes having been forgotten somewhere in the infirmary. Having heard everything said, Piper soon was at Vulcan's side before she spoke up, saying, "If anyone should be at fault for Hayden's death, it should be me. I was the one trying so hard to kill him. Vulcan killed him to keep all of us safe. I just wanted to kill Hayden out of spite and revenge." Warily looking around the group, Piper's fox ears flickered about and then she gingerly rubbed the edge of her injured dragon wing before she added, "And Xander's right. We know nothing about you, guys. Why should we trust you or waste any of our personal resources on you?"

Brandon took a small step back when this new guy summoned his fire wolf. He didn't want people to get too close to him and feel threatened when their gifts didn't work. "I am sorry, we are not a threat. Can you please just tell me if there was another woman who followed her." Brandon lifted up his wrists. "See no watches. If we were in the agency I wouldn't be just standing here talking!" Brandon was getting agitated. He just wanted to find Rosalyn already. Yes his team needed to rest and some food would be nice but if that woman was with her they needed to leave now. He couldn't let Rosalyn try and kill her. The rebellion needed the information she had. Suddenly a girl walked up., though it wast just a normal girl. She had fox ears and tail. Brandon was a bit confused by this. He glanced back and could see that the rest of his teams was also staring at her. His full attention was back on the girl for he wondered how that happened to her.

"We have a jet waiting for you at the airport. You can take that and it'll get you as close to Germany as we can. Unfortunately we can't get you in there since they up security at the airport since Rosalyn escaped from their custody. From there, well you will have to figure it out." Avi then smiled at him and then wish him luck.

Rosalyn was now sitting in the cage that was made for her. She looked up at the sky and could see stars starting to show. She would wait an hour or so when she knew everoyne else was asleep before making her move. For now she laid down on the ground her arms crossed behind her head to support it. The night sky was always her favorite view. Too bad it isn't Brandon's. He would prefer clouds.

The Headmistress watched as Manjano walked out of her office. She wanted to go ask him what the Chief wanted but refrained herself from doing so.

Toron was done with this. "ENOUGH!" His voice echoed throughout the dome his voice dominant and angered. Her walked up to Xander. "You have even less right than Vulcan to be making these decisions so why don't you go do something useful. If anyone has something else to say, do it. Because I swear to god when you do there WILL be an issue. Now leave." He turned his attention to the group of men. "I'm sure I can arrange with my sister to get you a few cells. Maybe it'll be those threes and a couple others. I'm sorry that you had to listen to all that." Hearing the mans question Toron sighed. When was Kytha coming back?! "Yes I do believe there were two men an a woman with her but please, it's better to go when you have everything you need."

Xander remained silent while the supposed leader of the small group spoke to him. He made a fair point with their lack of watches. Even though Xander still had his on, he had no doubt that it was already disabled. Problem was, Xander hadn't heard the conversation from earlier so he had no idea who this man was looking for. Keeping his arms crossed over his chest, Xander then evenly asked the man, "Who are you looking for? I missed the earlier conversation. If we can figure this out then we might not even need to waste any of our own resources on you guys."

Hearing Toron's outburst and tone, Xander almost laughed out loud, but he choose the more mature route in remaining silent and simply ignoring the teen. He'd eventually learn that he had no control over this situation. It wasn't like anything Toron was saying made any sense. How would Xander have any less right than Vulcan? He'd saved everyone's lives a couple of days ago by putting out that large fireball safely with Tucker's aid. He'd been in a coma for a few days after that event. While Xander wasn't going to say this out loud, he knew he definitely had more rights than Vulcan right now. Even Piper probably. Instead of reacting to Toron himself, Xander silently willed his fire wolf to growl at Toron, telling him to back off in a sense.

Piper wasn't as settle as Xander was though, as she abruptly laughed at Toron's attempt to take control over the situation. Grinning at him, Piper then said, "You're cute when you're trying to tell people what to do, kid." Shifting her attention away from Toron though, Piper felt like she really didn't have anything else to add onto what Xander had already said so she simply waited to see the group's response to him. Still, Piper could already feel the stares and saw the leader's reaction to her appearance. Piper could only assume that seeing a Gifted with fox ears, a fox tail, and dragon wings probably wasn't a normal occurrence.

Manjano wasted no time in packing everything that would be useful in a field environment, wisely leaving behind his school books and supplies. Unless he planned on throwing a big textbook at his enemies, he really wouldn't have any use for them while out in the field. Once he'd packed several dark uniforms, all were Splinter Cell-styled, as his Gift allowed him to sneak around easily and for him to be undetectable in some cases, Manjano then sorted through his personal gear to see if anything else would be worthwhile to bring. He already had his watch on so no problems there. He went ahead and packed his laptop along with its charger just in case. You never knew when it may come in handy. Beyond that, he took his handgun and some ammo, both of which he'd been trained with on top of hand-to-hand combat. After all, his Gift wasn't necessarily an offensive kind of Gift. He had to find alternatives to fighting. He also had quickly learned that he excelled at throwing knives and so he packed a leather strap filled all around with the knives as well. Looking around his room, the only other thing that he could think of packing was his sleeping bag and then a travel pillow. Once he was done packing everything, Manjano had a backpack and two duffle bags with him. Leaving them by the door for now, Manjano then dropped onto his bed with a sigh, his thoughts dancing about at the thought that he was finally a field agent and he hadn't even finished all of his training and education at the Academy yet. Why had the Chief reached out to him of all people and done so in such a personal manner? What was going on out there?

Brandon was a little confused about what was going on. He had thought Toron was the one in charge based on how he took charge but from the way these new people were acting, he wasn't. Hearing Toron say that there were other people that left with her he took a step forward, still making sure everyone was a certain distance away from him. "If we don't get ot her in time she will die. The Agency won't kill her but knowing her she will try something stupid and get herself killed." One of his man put a hand on his shoulder and leaned up to Brandon's ear. "You are giving away a lot of information Brandon. We don't know these people." Brandon glared at him. "It doesn't matter. He want's her back at all costs. He refuses to lose another daughter." Brandon looked at the guy who summoned the fire wolf. "I am looking for a woman name Rosalyn could also go by the name of Liana. Blonde hair, blue eyes, always looks like she is angry at something. The only other information we were given is that she was traveling with a man name Hayden."

Blinking in surprise at the leader's audacity, Xander then regained his composure and left his wolf to keep Toron at bay while he slowly dropped his arms to his sides. The leader at least didn't seem remotely concerned about fighting anyone or starting anything. Listening to everything he said, Xander thought for a moment before finally replying to him, "I've never seen her, but if you're looking for Hayden then you're a bit late. He was killed when he attempted to kill everyone else present in this prison." Furrowing his brows, Xander wondered how they would find someone they never met before.

Yet, Piper suddenly took a step forward and joined Xander's side before saying confidently, "I know her. Well, I saw her at least. Before Hayden died and everything, I was outside and saw Rosalyn. I'm not sure what the end result was for her though...I kinda crashed through the dome up there and brought the fight with Hayden inside here. After Hayden died...Amelie, Larassa, and two other agents all escaped before anyone could stop them. Rosalyn probably didn't stray too far so it's highly likely that those four found her." After saying all of this, Piper thought things over to make sure she hadn't missed any details before she nodded and then said to the leader, "That's all I can remember really. I ended up being a bit out of it after everything had concluded and all." Gingerly rubbing the side of her head, Piper closed her eyes for a moment, as she felt slightly dizzy. Most likely a side effect of her blood loss and all.
