I’m looking for a partner who will be patient and kind, and willing to work around my mental health! Preferably someone over the age of 20, closer to 25, but if not anyone over 18 will also work. I want to remain on site, as I enjoy using bbcode to make my posts look pretty, but I am open to doing ooc chat over Discord. I’m hoping to do romance in the rp, so you must be ok playing your character in a romantic situation against a male character.
Speaking of characters, this will be oc’s only. Not that Pokémon Mystery Dungeon has a lot of recurring characters, but you can’t play Guildmaster Wigglytuff or the player character from Super Mystery Dungeon, or anything like that. That being said, some characters are too unique to be oc’s, such as legendary and mythical Pokémon. Those are the only exception to the only oc’s rule.

A great sickness has overtaken the world of Pokémon. No one knows where it came from or who caused it, but one thing's for certain: it has a hunger for power. The legendary and mythical Pokémon were the first to succumb to it. Rumor has it Arceus was the first to fall, followed quickly by the deities of time and space, Dialga and Palkia. One by one, the great deities fell. Whisper on the wind is that those who remain have gone into hiding, secluding themselves for fear of catching this elusive sickness known to corrupt the minds of Pokémon, driving them to madness and eventual death.
But nature cannot continue normally without its guardians - time and space distortions are common, earthquakes and tsunamis make costal living dangerous, and many new mystery dungeons have ripped their way to the surface, creating an unnatural amount of hazards for the Pokémon still living in the world. Some may look at this hopeless, dangerous world and decide there is no saving it. To those people, a certain Absol disagrees. Abigail, leader of Team Hope, a rescue team bent on returning hope to the masses, has made it her mission to personally see to it that this sickness is eradicated.
Enter you, whoever you may be. A human turned Pokémon, new to this disastrous world? A lost one, rescued from the dungeons? Or have you forgotten who you are? Whatever your past, your future is now irreparably entwined with this team and their mission to save the world. The answer you seek may lie within those mysterious dungeons...

Despite his early evolution and tendency to act silly and goofy, Raymond is entirely an adult. He doesn't remember much of his life prior to being rescued from a dungeon by Abigail, and is treating this like a second opportunity to live the way he wants.

Abigail is the leader of Team Hope. She's best defined as a headstrong and optimistic individual. She is very experienced in leadership and planning, and can easily organize and lead a team. Her abilities as an Absol allow her to sense when danger is near, which helps her lead the group to safety. In all her time spent as a rescue team leader, she's not once lost a team member.

Melanie fills the role of healer of the group! She doesn't do much adventuring, but her abilities with dreams allows her to heal the rest of the team via sleep. She sleeps a lot during the day because of this, and can be rather grumpy when woken up during the day, to contrast her usual sweet and quiet demeanor.

Tony is the chef of the group! When the team needs to move camp, he's the one pull the wagon and move them from place to place. Despite most Tauros having rather terrible tempers, Tony is very lighthearted and kind. He takes on the role of group father more often than not, being a good shoulder to cry on if things don't go well or a person to confide in when uncertain.
