This is It. [The Sequel to 'This is the End.']

Winnie laughed. ”Talk about made of steel.” She said, shaking her head. She realized then how much she had missed all of them. She shook out her hand, hiding the wince. He sure felt like steel too, she thought as she tenderly curled her hand up by her side. She knew Emmett would feel bad if he knew he hurt her, so she made surehe couldn.t see it.

Alteriel shrugged, "Hey, ya never know. You've come a long way." He said with a chuckle and leaned down to rub his shin, "You might surivie this one too" He said with a wink as he looked over Emmett quickly eyeing him and realized that he couldn't see the knife, "You still have it, don't you?" He asked narrowing his eyes to look better. Alteriel looked at Winnie and watched her wince in pain. She should know that he is too observant to avoid detection, perhaps she was hiding her pain from someone else, "Are you alright?" He asked.


Dedecus nodded, "You need closer." He said and clasped his hand on Gabriel's shoulder, "Deep breath" He said then he held his hand out and opened a portal. When he pulled Gabriel through they weren't in the spirit realm but instead were in a forest outside of town. Dedecus held his hand out to his side and concentrated, "I found her." He said then slammed his hand down. He grasped for her spirit but he could not seem to get a hold of her. Then he realized what was happening, "You're mother is being taken. We need to save her. Brace yourself!" He exclaimed. He pushed open another portal and dragged Gabriel into the Fuge Plane. He would feel the same way Emmett did, no breath, no heartbeat, light as a feather. Dedecus looked forward and saw him. A demon had a hold of Gabriel's mother, one he knew all too well. The same one who had stolen the last spirit he was tracking, a different female. Udyr tried to stop him last time but he wasn't fast enough(@this is the End reference) , "Verdik!" He screamed his voice echoing through the realm, "Release that spirit!" He said and walked towards the towering demon. It stood 8 feet tall and had antlers similar to an elk. His eyes were red and his skin was black and cracked. It seemed to have lava pouring from the cracks in his skin. Dedecus approached him unwavering and Verdik spoke, a deep menacing and fearful voice echoed through the empty grassland they were standing in. The grass shook when he did so, "You fought and lost to me once before, Spirit Shaman. What makes you think you can stop me now?" He said then laughed shaking the entire area they were in.


Udyr looked around at them, the 'mentors' behaving like children How can you expect to teach anyone when you act in such a poor manner? He asked scurrying down Sylvie's shoulder and becoming bear again. He looked around the room expectantly and fear struck him Where are Dedecus and Gabriel? He asked.
 
Emmett chuckled. "Yeah." He sighed, and then realized he had to get things moving. And then Alteriel said Winnie was hurt. Emmett flicked his head to see, and his eyes went big. "Wait. What? Oh my god, I hurt you." He whispered, feeling bad. Nice Emmett. You hurt her. He thought, and he held her hand. Fractured. Maybe even broken. He could a feel a bone out of place. "Crap." He whispered, not sue of what to do. He turned to Alteriel. "You got band-aids or something?" He asked, desperate. 'You hurt her.' Rosa's voice echoed in the back of his mind.


Gabriel felt himself be pulled into another place. He sucked in a breathe, but could not let it out. But he didn't freak out. Instead, he stayed calm. He was light as a feather. But when flying, he always felt like that. He felt... sort of normal. He followed Dedecus, and saw he yell. He heard his mother. She cried to him. He blinked, and then saw a volcanic demon thing holding her. He frowned, and stared at the demon. For some reason, it look familiar. He then looked to see his mother full of fear. He gulped. "Dedecus." He whispered, wanting to fight the demon, but scared of it at the same time.


Isabelle saw the 'mentor's joking and laughing. But she wasn't. She then saw two people just.... leave. She raised and eyebrow, and looked around. "Um..." She started, distracting. She went up to the two men and the one women. "Excuse me? What's going on. And two people just... left." She added, and pulled a strand of hair behind her ear. She looked back to where to two boys just were. "What's happening?"
 
Alteriel nodded, "You're asking ME if i came prepared?" He said then laughed. He tossed his bad on the gound and scrounged through it. So many memories were held in it. Pain love hope fear, he shook his head and pulled out a wrist guard, "Let me see your hand." He said taking Winnie's hand lightly, "You're forefinger is jammed." He said, "Deep breath." He warned only seconds before yanking her finger back into place. It popped and probably hurt like hell but Alteriel was ready for that too. He took a numbing solution from a vial in his pocket and dumped it on the pained region. Within seconds the pain would subside. He placed the wrist guard on her hand to keep it steady, "Wear this for a day or so, you'll be fine." He said.


Udyr reached out for Dedecus's soul They are in the fuge plane. He said to her telepathically. Then he felt another spirit, more menacing. He knew Dedecus was ready to fight him, but he would need help They are attempting to re claim Gabriel's mother's soul, do you wish to help them? He asked turning to face her.


Dedecus turned to Gabriel, "Stand with me, we can win." He said then charged into Verdik's midsection. He threw his body into the demon forcing him to drop Gabriel's mother. Then he slammed his fist into his side driving him sideways into a wall. Verdik laughed and stood up. His body quickly re-formed from his molten insides, "You cannot win." He said to Dedecus and then turned to Gabriel, "Your mother's soul, is mine. Your fear will be your downfall and your hesitation will end her existence." He said as Dedecus stood again. Dedecus began to chant a name, "Damato, Damato..." He said closing his eyes chanting the name of the first angel he could think of. Verdik heard him and quickly snatched him up by the throat, "You die here, shaman." He said and began crushing Dedecus's soul form. Impossible! Demons don't have this kind of power! He thought unable to speak through the pain. He seized and convulsed as Verdik attempted to end his existence.
 
Winnie breathed on an exhale as Alteriel fixed up her finger. Her breathe came out in a hiss as he did so,and she ground her teeth together. When he was done, she laughed. ”You guys treat me like a little girl.” She said. She turned to Isabelle and listened, then looked over where the two boys used to be. ”Emmett, Alt, we lost a couple kids.” She said, hiding the panic from her voice. She sighed and closed her eyes, clearing her mind before searching through the Fields of Feelings. Briefly, she felt Dedecus's panic and pain. She felt Gabriel's fear and sorrow. Spirit realm...her mind whispered. She felt for more, then was sucked into the demon Verdik. She felt the emptyness, the coldness. It was an endless blackness, never ending. As if in a far away world, pain stabbed her palms and knees as her body fell to the ground. Her mind and soul was trapped inside Verdik. Pain suffering heartbreak pain hurt pain suffering chaos pain! She kept thinking the thoughts, making Verdik feel them like a thousand knives jabbing in his body, enough to release Dedecus. 
Sylvie watched Udyr hurry over to the others, and was immediately bored. She was fidgety and restless, wanting either to fight or to change and just run. She shifted feet, uncomfortable from the familiar feeling of her power, like worms crawling under her skin. If she didn't change and stretch soon, she'e loose it.
 
Verdik felt the tinge, someone reaching into his being, "Since when do you have friends shaman?" He asked. He cringed as pain singed through his soul. He threw Dedecus into the ground and chanted alhim muahlibar He said and a barrier appeared around him. It rendered him unable to move, all he could do was speak. Verdik was angry at this point. He spoke to Winnie through the planes Your sould has been marked, your childrens children shall suffer our wrath. He said then he mind blanked shutting out Winnie's influence. He opened his mind again and sent a shockwave of pain through her mind and struck her soul. He branded it with his seal then blanked again.


Dedecus hit the ground hard and could not move. He tried to speak and was able to, "Gabriel! Help!" He called to his friend. Friend...he though it was a good thought, "He is too strong, you need to cool him off, use the wind! It will exist here if you will it hard enough!" He hollered just as Verdik slammed his foot into his chest to silence him again.


Udyr moved quickly gathering all of the recruits We are going on a field trip. He said and opened a doorway to the spirit realm I will guide you to Verdik, then i must return. I He said quickly guiding all of the youth to the scene of the battle then disappearing only to reappear before the old group.
 
Winnie cryed out, the pain so great she blacked out for a few seconds. Afterwards she searched for Verdik again, but this time he was blocked. So she found Gabriel and Dedecus and sent them wave after wave of her own strength, hoping it was enough. By then she was still on her hands and knees, forehead pressed against the floor and her eyes pressed shut.


Sylvie grinned when she saw Verdik. She quickly shifted into a huge moutain lion, then leaped at him aiming for the throat. She got her claws dedp into his shoulders as she went down for the killing bite to his jugular.
 
Tom was snapped out of his trance when he saw his wife in pain. He jumped down as he teleported her to a plane that had no interference of any others. Tom and Winnie appeared in the Aether, a place now full of shadows his shadows. He looked around as he saw the full extent of his powers. Everything he had ever summoned was here and more. The bright place full of human imagination was now ruled by shadows, at war. Tom quickly summoned a shadow shield as a shadow bomb came to kill them. He looked around. The Aether spun so fast that virtually no matter how long you stayed there no time would pass on any other realm. He hugged Winnie as he summoned the strongest beasts he could create, copies of himself. Of course you could tell the difference they looked like they were drawn by a 3 year old. He looked at his own skin in as he saw even himself was covered in shadows. He looked back at his wife and blew a kiss as he set out to save the once beautiful realm there was, the land of all creation.


Sam felt himself stop breathing. He almost panicked if he hadn't been a virus. When he was using his powers or before he was born. He quickly looked around and saw he was in the sprit realm with no electronics. He pouted as he thought of his watch. Of course it had stopped ticking. He took it off as he slowly used his other power to make the watch fly and hit the demon in the foot as soft as a pillow. It then did this again and again getting almost noticeable near the end.

((6.5 out of 10, it also depends on how influenced you are, if you are passionate, it jumps two levels, for sure.))
 
((It was good, 8.5 reminded me of my old ones. A piece of advice i could offer is this : Try to be a little less character centered. Concentrate on the story more than focusing on your own character's abilites/ambitions and try to integrate everyone when going on a side trail. Not meaning to make you mad, just some constructive criticism.))

Dedecus stood up having been freed from the soul trap. He saw someone shape into a great lion and leap onto Verdik, "No!" He screamed.


Verdik snarled as he was taken down. A huge portion of his blackened skin was ripped from his neck. He chuckled a little as Lava began to flow, "You cannot kill me, no matter how many of you there are!" He said with a laugh. He saw the boy throwing a watch at him, an attempted distraction perhaps? He gathered a ball of thick molten lava and hurled it at him, "I should kill you, technomancer!" He screamed,


Dedecus quickly threw out a soul thether and pulled Sylvie off of him before she was hurt. He then threw up a spiritual barrier around Sam. The lava would hit him, he would feel the heat, but he would not be harmed and it would seep down his body safely, if not a bit freaky. Then he walked towards Verdik angrily his hands glowing, "We will end you Verdik! Together!" He said stepping out in front of them all, "You will not hurt them!" He claimed protectively. He reached his hands out and the began shaking. He forced his will to gather in his palms. He transferred all of the energy into one concentrated spot on each hand. The gathering energy began to form balls of explosive spirit energy, "I won't let you hurt them!" He screamed and hurled two massive balls of spiritual energy into the demon. The exploded as they imbeded themselves in his chest.


Verdik hit the ground, two massive holes lay in his form but still he withheld. He managed to move to Gabriel's mother's soul, "You will die." He said and then reached out and began absorbing her essences.((@RadioActive can have this response ;) ))

Having no idea of the shield Sam held his hands up weakly and the fire ball stopped. A thought then came rushing to him. Lava is magnetic. He then threw the fireball aside and focused on the flowing lava. He had seen many pictures of this woman, and he knew her good. Sam threw his hands aside erupting the lava monster as the demons body was destroyed. Spilling lava on the others as a face became more and more as Sam freed his grandmother, Sam freed Tom's dearest mother.

Winnie could only find the girl, Sylvie. She felt the girl's anger, and felt her own anger overflow. She sent her anger to the girl, making it so strong it would cause the girl to create such a strong force of spiritual anger it could wipe out an army. When it was done, she glanced around the Aether plane before passing out.


Sylvie gdowled in anger when Dedecus threw her off the demon. -I had him!- she hissed through his mind. She then saw what was happening with Gabriel's mother. Her anger grew a thousand times, as if someone were adding their own. She roared, for some strange reason the roar sent a huge wave of spiritual energy heading straight for Verdik like a tornado. -You will not win!- she yelled into Verdik's head.
 
Gabriel seemed to have shrinked into the background. But then he yelled, his wings flashed out. They was huge and amazing, mesmerizing. He stod there powerfully for a moment. He thrust his palms forward and wind blew from them. Didn't wind make lava hard? Gabriel wasn't so sure, but he was willing to do anything for his mother. He was silent, but strong. The air became stronger an stronger. He flapped his wings, adding to the force of air.
 
((Essentially Dedecus took Gabriel into the spirit realm to save his mother and everyone is currently ganking a demon. Udyr sensed where dedecus and gabriel had gone and took all of the recruits there to help then poofed. So as of ten seconds ago you were facing down a giant charred skinned lava demon lol, if i missed anything lemme know.))
 
((LoL, yeah. It's fine if work choking you dude. :P We unda-stand! And yeah, that was epic.))


Isabelle stood in horror watching as everything happened at once. She was at the building one moment, and then was in the woods. She watched a monster hold a women. The monster had was seemed to be lava pouring out of itself. She watched as a boy by the name of Gabriel revealed his wings and used wind to try to defeat the demon. She watched as another boy, who's name was Sam, had a fireball thrown at him, but he stopped it. She watched as another girl, who's name she couldn't recall, turned into a tiger. She gulped, and had her hands in fists. She had no powers to defeat this monster. She could punch it to death, but she would be burned. She could crush it easily, but again, she would be burned. She starred in shock, for that was all she could do.


Emmett was in the woods. He blinked, and trying to figure out what happened. He spun around, his mind racing. He then spotted a demon. A lava demon. Emmett sighed. He knew this was the doing of Dedecus. Or it involved him. He heard a scream, and the the demon was holding a women. "Oh my god." Emmett whispered, and then he sighed. He ran to the demon and jumped on it. "Die." He muttered, and sucked in the lava. It was like fire. Emmett pressed his hands on the demon and breathed in deeply. The lava was going into him. Emmett was a sponge. He breathed in, sucking up the lava.


Gabriel flapped his wings, but let his hands drop for a moment. He breathed heavily. Work was hard. He'd never used his powers this much. He looked around, for help, and help came. Emmett had jumped on the demon, and was doing something. He didn't know what but the demon was becoming weaker. Gabriel grinned. "Dedecus? Winnie? Someone?!" He called, wanting someone else to jump in and help. He looked at his mother, and saw she was calm but her eyes were filled with fear. "It's okay mother." He whispered, and then breathed hard and ran closer to the demon. The heat was killing Gabriel. He closed his eyes and thrust his hands forward. Air poured out of his palms. He yelled, and the feathers on his wings was singed.

Dedecus walked forward as Verdik died, "You've lost demon!" He screamed and his hands began to glow. He pulled a small canister from his belt and stood ahead of the group. He shot a vein of spirit channeling and channeled was was left of Verdik into the seal, "You are all marked!" The demon cried as it's spirit was trapped. Dedecus smiled and looked at the beaten and battered team, "Good job guys." He said with a smile. Then his chest began to pound and he felt something, as they all would. Something was being carved into his rib cage, a brand. He slowly passed out from the pain and burning in his chest. ((The other's would pass out too i believe, or at least come close to it.))


Udyr came in and took all of the weakened and passed out team back to the lobby. He left Gabriel who was remarkably still standing there and said, "You may speak with your mother now." Then he took the rest, and Tom's mother's spirit back to the building so they could finish their business.
 
Gabriel let his hands drop to his sides, and let his aching wings stop flapping. He was breathing hard, and his face had no expression. He turned to Udyr glaring at him. He wasn't in the mood to talk about his feelings. He grunted, and looked around. Where was his mother? She wasn't token... maybe she was hiding? He quietly called for his mother, and then a spirit came up from the ground. His mother stood there, pale and see through. Like a ghost. 'Gabriel... I'm sorry. But was time was ending.' She smiled at him, sadness in her eyes. Emmett frowned. "But-" He began but was caught off by his mother. 'Son, you are too save the world now. I knew this was to become of you ever since you were born. I've always known you were special.' She cooed. Gabriel starred at his mother. "Okay fine." He whispered. His mother was now in front of him, hugging him. 'I'm sorry Gabriel. I shall see you again.' She whispered, and disappeared. "Wait!" Gabriel called, but she was already gone. She had nothing important for Gabriel. Nothing at all. Gabriel sighed, and slowly walked away.
 
Dedecus awoke a few moments later and could feel that Gabriel was still in the fuge plane. He quickly opened a doorway to where Gabriel was and walked through. He saw him not too far and quickly approached. He saw the faded look in his eye, he was confused, "Are you alright?" He asked.
 
Gabriel sighed. "Yeah..." He lied. He was never good about talking about his feeling. He was a teenage boy, not a girl. He walked past Dedecus, and walked through the portal. He felt his heart start pumping, and his lungs being filled with air. "Oh I love being alive." He breathed, and cracked his neck. "What do we do now?" He asked, raising an eyebrow.


Emmett turned around to see Gabriel asking him a question. "Ah yes, we now train." He clapped, grinning. He looked at Dedecus, "You're my partner." He smiled, motioning him over. "Everyone else get you partner. Some of you may have more than one student." He looked at Daniel and Isabella. He turned to Dedecus. "Ready?"


Isabella pulled a strand of hair behind her ear. "Okay... who will be my teacher?" She asked, talking to no one special. She felt... left behind. She'd hadn't talked to anyone or anything. She held her arm, and looked at her feet. "What do I do?" She whispered to herself.
 
Dedecus nodded and then noticed her hesitation, "Isabella, you can train with us, if that alright with Emmett." He said. He grasped at his gauntlets which were at his sides, the spirit force channeling into them already.


Udyr looked at Sylvie Are you prepared? He asked.
