Kylie wakes up that morning with a whole hoard of butterflies in her stomach. The perfect princess is actually pretty nervous, wondering what all these kids would think of her. As she exits her bed, though, those feelings are shaken away. No new school, new kids or whatever would intimidate her. Hopping into the shower, she stays there a bit longer than needed to let the hot waters soothe all her nerves. Once she's out, Ky applies a small amount of mousse to her brown locks and lets it dry naturally while applying her makeup. It's a very simple look, a natural smokey eye with slightly flushed cheeks as well as a bit of contouring. She puts on the outfit she had set out the night before, hoping to make the right impression. She eats a small breakfast of yogurt with granola, then is out the door. Pulling out of her drive way in the all white Caddy her parents bought her last year, she's off to school.

You've got a mouthful of diamonds, and a pocket full secrets..

Ignoring it, she walks through those double doors. New year, new friends, new school and new opportunities to get crazy.

Enter Stanley Lucerne.

Stan, on the other hand, wakes up just moments before his bus arrives. Good thing he showered just last night, cause he had no time to right now if he was gonna make the bus. Yes, he is a senior and still takes the bus. But it's only cause his parents refuse to get him a car. He's 'not responsible enough' or something like that. Anyways, he has just enough time to brush his teeth, change his outfit, grab his backpack and run out the door. He's arriving to his stop just as his yellow chariot arrives. Another year, but hopefully not the same old shit. All the drama of last year seemed to be over but who knows. He walks in with his head down. It was way too early and he was not prepared for his Senior year at all.

Tea Marvelli

"Gooooooo Bobcats!" the entirety of the Blackthorne High School cheerleading squad yelled as their star and captain, Tea Marvelli, came down from a basket toss. Sure, it was the first day of school, but the game was in just a few days, and the girls needed to be on their toes. Tea would make sure of it. Cheerleading was the only thing that the brunette took seriously. Everything else was a game to her. Sure, Miss Marvelli might be a force to be reckoned with, but she was fun to be around, and that was all that mattered. Especially in her group of friends.

"Alright, b*tches!" she called. Her Italian roots made her a natural at yelling at people. "Same time tomorrow morning! Molly, work on those shoulders. You too, Jessica!" She gave Jess a smack on the butt, shooing her away. It was funny that nobody on the cheer squad had caught on to Tea's sexuality. It wasn't like she was very inconspicuous about it. Once the gym cleared out, Tea headed into the locker room and changed out of her practice outfit and into her school clothes, which were much more her style. After applying a line of kohl under her eyes and giving her hair a quick fluff, she was ready to go.

<p><a href="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2014_01/Sofia-sofia-black-delia-20632803-500-208.gif.123a3de68637f85b9e030c724884738a.gif" class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image"><img data-fileid="12459" src="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2014_01/Sofia-sofia-black-delia-20632803-500-208.gif.123a3de68637f85b9e030c724884738a.gif" class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" alt=""></a></p>

Her phone chimed as she walked out of the locker room. It was a text from Betty, asking if she wanted to grab a cappucino later. Tea sighed heavily. She worked hard to get Betty to see her as more than a femme fatale, and it finally worked. But, Tea was Tea, after all. She got bored easily, and after a month of constant hand-holding and dinners at the local pizza place, she was done with the whole relationship thing. Tea dumped her. but Betty was still persistent on trying to get her back.

She stared at her phone screen as she walked, and then she dumped into somebody. "Stan! How's it going?" Tea asked with a smile, throwing her arms around her frazzled-looking friend. Since when did Stanley care about being late? It must be the Michelle Effect. Tea and Michelle used to be a lot closer. They went from proper mates, to sworn enemies--yeah, Tea slept with Tony, despite being as gay as a window--to tense friends. Sure, they could hang out without Michelle wanting to tear her head off, but they wouldn't be having slumber parties and discussing Tony's penis any time soon.

Enter Spencer Miller

Spencer woke up to the sound of her military-grade alarm going off, and she slammed the button, making the alarm noise stop. Then, without a knock, her father came in. "Get up, solider! It's time for your first day of school here!" He said, Spencer sat up and grunted. Then she got up out of bed and nodded at her dad. "Well, cam you please get out so I can change?" She asked, her dad simply nodded and left.

The brunette walked to her dresser and grabbed a pair of leggings and a plain white tanktop, turning on her curling wand and doing her makeup whilst she waited. Spencer's makeup was nothing special, just some eyesshadow, winged eyeliner, mascara, and nude lipstick. After her little makeup routine, she started to curl her hair and whatnot.

Spencer found a shirt she liked to go over the white tanktop and put it on, along with the matching hat, and smiled. Spence kind of dressed in a skater-ish fashion, and she liked it. She kind of had that 'Haters gonna hate' attitude as well.

tumblr_m3kop99evj1r4kfic.gif

Spencer left her room with about 10 minutes to waste before breakfast, so she just looked up more things about her new school. It was the same thing everytime. Dad got a new job in a new base and she moved there with him, she went to school there and whatnot for a while, then they'd move again. With this, Spencer wasn't scared about her new school. It was simple. Walk in, say hi, and make temporary friends.

When she was called down for breakfast, she ran downstairs and started eating, finishing her food fast and getting out to the car in a hurry. It was obvious she was actually quite excited to go to this new school, it was going to be her last school anyways. Spencer ran to her father's hummer and told him to speed up, and he did.

Getting to the school was easy, now it was just a matter of getting through the school. There were so many people in the halls and all of them were much taller than Spencer. She pushed through them and went to her new locker, opening it and getting her stuff for her first class, psychology.

Enter Asher Smith

Asher woke up just before his dad decided to come to knock on his door. "I'm up," Asher mumbled just before his dad could begin pounding on the door to his room. He pulled the covers up and over his face, closing his eyes for a moment. Asher sighed deeply before sliding out from under the covers. He walked over to his dresser and took out an outfit for the day. Asher never put too much effort into what he was wearing, but, he usually put just enough to make it seem like he did.

Asher made his way across the hall and into the bathroom to shower. It only took him a short while to shower before he was out and dressed. He combed his fingers through his hair. Since it wasn't very long, he could do this quite easily and he liked it that way. He took a bit of gel and ran his fingers through his hair once more, making the hairs towards the front slightly spiked up. Asher flashed himself a smile in the mirror before brushing his teeth.

"What? No breakfast?" Asher questioned in a sarcastic tone to his father when he reached the kitchen. "You're slacking." He said as he made his way to the cupboard. Asher's dad shook his head, "How old are you again? Can't you make you're own food?" He said from the living room. Asher rolled his eyes as he walked to the fridge. He looked around for a moment before deciding quickly just to take an apple for the ride to school. Asher grabbed an apple from the shelf and wandered over to the door. "See ya," he said before leaving the house.

Just minutes later, Asher arrived at the school. He stared at the building from inside his car. Asher turned off the ignition, stashing the keys in his bag before putting a hand on the door. He opened the car door, exiting the vehicle slightly excited for the day to start. Asher wasn't big on school but he did like meeting people. He smiled as he entered the school and headed into the office. "Just dropping this off," he said as he laid the papers he was required to bring in.

tumblr_mcvt7cTdaM1r0sagxo1_250.gif

Asher turned around and walked out, making his way to his locker in no hurry at all. He reached his assigned locker shortly after entering the building. Before entering the combination, he looked around the hall. Asher began studying faces as they walked by, curious to meet some of the surrounding people. He turned back to face his locker and began entering the combination.

Michelle Richardson

It was a new school year and Michelle couldn't wait to get out there and own it. She stared her reflection down in the full body mirror that was attached to the back of her door. Smiling to herself, Michelle swiftly spun around and grabbed her bag. She hurried out the front door without really worrying about saying goodbye to her mother. Since she lives so close to school, it never really bothered her to walk, besides the exercise does the body good, right?

Around 8-10 minutes of walking, Michelle appeared in front of the school. Before she could pull the doors open, she was already being called from a few people behind her. They looked like freshmen and how they knew her was far from her apprehension. Michelle shook her head and pulled the door open, lunging herself into the air conditioned building. She continued down the hall and saw a very familiar face.

"Stanny!" She immediately ran up behind him and hopped onto his back. Shortly afterwards, she noticed a moseying Tea beside him. Michelle looked down and back up as if she was trying to ignore the whole things. She dropped down from Stanley's back and made her way to the other side of him, wrapping her arm tightly around his back.

It's not that it was still awkward between them but the girl was very in the wrong and she knew she was. If the so called lesbian still wanted asshole Tony, she was more than welcomed to having him. But that was long gone and in the past right? Still doesn't mean it leaves the mind---she's pretty great at holding grudges. Things just couldn't be the same.

She looked back over at Stanley and smiled. Things were finally looking up for Michelle and she wanted this year to be grand. Knowing it probably won't stay this way, it couldn't hurt to try.

Chris Miles Collins

<p><a href="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2014_01/tumblr_lilck7Aukm1qedmglo1_500.gif.1c942c1bf3bdb3d6232e6f945caafcd8.gif" class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image"><img data-fileid="12466" src="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2014_01/tumblr_lilck7Aukm1qedmglo1_500.gif.1c942c1bf3bdb3d6232e6f945caafcd8.gif" class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" alt=""></a></p>

Chris finished off the last of his morning joint. Wake and bake...he thought to himself serenely, What a great way to start senior year. Things would be different at school without Tina here, that was for sure. In fact, their unconventionally attractive (ex) teacher was the only reason Chris attended most days in the first place. He decided that thinking about Tina wasn't going to be good for him. Chris would find another unconventionally attractive teacher to hit on. It wouldn't be that hard--everybody loved Chris Collins.

He stamped out the end of the expertly rolled
cylinder and took a swig of the energy drink he held in his other hand. Chris would drink, pop, smoke, or f*ck anything. He never said no, and that's what made him Chris. Here goes nothing...he thought to himself. By the time Chris woke up that morning, Abbud was already gone for the day. He probably wanted to get in a quickie with Daisy before first period. The two of them were a funny little pairing. Chris could tell they were into each other, though neither one would admit it.

He walked through the front doors of Blackthorne and his stomach rumbled. Of course, he had the munchies. He was about to head to the cafeteria when he noticed the ginger head of Michelle Richardson, followed respectively by Stanley and Tea. "Hold your applause," Chris called as he approached them. He hopped on Tea's back and received look that said
You're lucky we love you, asshole. "Where's Ton--" he started to ask, before remembering that things were weird with Tony Snyder. He dated Michelle, but f*cked Tea--who is very very very gay--and also some girl from a private school. Still, Tea and Michelle seemed civil enough. Chris didn't do drama. He would run in the other direction and pop a random pill he found on an abandoned lunch tray if anything started up. Pills were so cool.

"So, how are you guys?" he asked with a big goofy smile. Sure, they had seen plenty of each other over the summer, but it was different, being back in school for the first time in months. While he waited for a reply, he stole a bag of Cheetos from Tea's backpack. She shot him a glare, to which he replied, "The captain of the cheer squad should not be eating Cheetos! Useless stoners like me, on the other hand..." he grinned before tearing into the bag. Yum. Breakfast of Champions.

Cadie Campbell

There she was, lying on her bed like a sick animal, sprawled out and covers everywhere. Did it have to be senior year? Did she have to go to school? Maybe if she just took a couple more shots the world would darken enough for her to lose consciousness or something. Just get the f-ing day over with, she thought as she rolled herself out of the bed. Cadie walked towards her closet and stared at her variety of clothes until she finally just grabbed some garments (without the dream catcher necklace) and threw them on. She wanted the first day to be scotch free of anything too crazy, but knowing the students that went to the h*ll hole, it wasn't going to be that easy.

Cadie took a public bus to school, just to make it easier for herself, and had to walk the rest of the way. Once she reached the front of the schoolyard she gave a small grunt. It wasn't the best day of the year, and not just because of her therapy session after school, but a couple of new kids were starting up their day and that practically made it worse for everyone. Of course Cadie could care less. There wasn't any reputation she had to follow except being considered a wackjob, and even that wasn't much of a name to live up to.

After she got inside the building she went straight for her locker, which was full of crap and junk she had no use of anymore, and stared into it like an endless abyss. Turning and slamming the locker door shut, Cadie looked at the students that practically paraded through the halls. She saw Stanley for a brief moment until he was crowded with some familiar faces. It was the first smile she gave today, and it wasn't exactly intentional, but it gave some sort of reassurance that the day might not be so bad.

tumblr_inline_mgfk002vP11rctsej.gif

(Sorry I was so late in posting. This is probably terrible, bear with me, but I had to type it up fast.)

Daisy woke up to the obnoxious sound of her alarm clock blaring. In an attempt to reach for the 'OFF' button on her little alarm, she found herself on her bedroom floor. She groaned, sat up, and rubbed her-- now sore-- back. She rolled her eyes and stood up. She then walked into the bathroom and began to undress. After a quick 15 minute shower, she brushed her teeth and blow-dried and straightened her brown hair. She then changed into this outfit.

After wards she grabbed her bag and hurried downstairs. She was glad that it was senior year, but at the same time irritated that she had another four years to go. She walked down the few blocks until she had arrived at the school. She smiled and walked into the huge building.

She walked down the, what seemed like a million, halls until she made it to her locker. She was honestly in no rush at all, even if it was the first day. She grabbed her stuff and shut her locker. She then walked down the halls to her classroom.

Entering Tony

Tony walked through the school building. He couldn't believe it was back to school already. Summer went by so fast it was like it had never happened. He looked around as he walked down the hall. He was kinda looking forward to seeing Michelle even tho he was sure she wasn't looking forward to seeing him. He may have cheated on her with Tea but he did still like her. He didn't know really how he felt about Tea. He never thought he would say this but he actually cared about someone other than himself. He felt so bad for what he did to Michelle and he wanted her back but at thee same time Tea was hot. Ok maybe he hadn't completely changed.

Tony made his way through the hall and the found his locker. He hadn't yet seen Michelle or Tea but the halls were too crowded anyway. He noticed all the new freshman. Some looked a little lost. Others probably knew their way because of their older siblings. He smirked and looked away to his locker. He began putting his stuff away and once he was done he headed to his classroom. He hopped he saw Michelle soon he wanted to talk to her or at least Tea. They may not end up back together but he wanted his friends back. Maybe it was time for him to move on from all his friends. He shrugged and took a seat in the back of the classroom.

(Ok I know this really sucks! I tried to think of how I could do this. Plus I didn't want you all to wait for me any longer)

"Yeah, um, good." Tea knows him well, so she probably wouldn't mind his awkward replies.

"Oh, uh, hey Michelle." Stanley is, clearly, still not very good at this. He's been awkward his whole life and talking to girls still didn't work out for him. How Michelle picked him over his smooth talking best friend-- was he even that anymore?-- was beyond the blonde boy. More and more of his friends crowded over and it was way too early for this, but clearly they were happy to see him. Seems the whole gang was around, all but Tony. He hadn't seen much of him that summer but the former king had sort of been exiled. But the bell rings, signaling that they all must depart. "See you guys around, then?" Stan actually planned on going to most of his classes this year, on account of his parents really cracking down on the slacker.

---

Kylie, for the first time in her young life, feels almost.. out of place. Almost. The brunette keeps her head high, strutting her stuff. They'd all come around eventually and she'd be into the groove of Blackthorne within no time at all. As the bell sounds, Ky makes her way to her first class-- psychology. Something about the human psyche really interested her, explaining why she took the class.

Spence had confidence walking in the school, but now that she had really taken a look around the school, she felt like cowering back. Once, everyone was at least a foot taller than her. Two, she was the new kid, so even after a short introduction people would still stare at her like an alien. That's the part that killed her, she always tried to be confident and change her personality for new schools, but when she got there she couldn't keep her act up, she just stared at the floor and kept her silence.

Soon into her little walk to class, she's bumped into a few kids around her age, specifically a guy with long brown hair, and gasped. "Sorry!" SHe said, biting her lip. Her experience with bumping into new people was definitely not well, so her instinct was to immediately apologize and wait for what she had coming. Spencer crossed her fingers, looking down to the floor and just walking away, hoping they wouldn't chase her down.

Chris Collins

Chris was eager to get to his first class of the day, psychology. Now that Tina was no longer in the picture, he needed a new teacher to keep his interest. "Later!" he called over his shoulder before jolting down the hall, almost knocking over a frazzled brunette in the process. He slapped palms with some guys he knew, and winked at some girls he may or may not have slept with the previous year. Chris loved the first day of school, though he'd never admit it aloud.

He could have gotten himself to psychology blindfolded, he had spent so much there over the past three years. When Chris walked into the room, he was disappointed to see that Tina's replacement was a man about as ancient as Egypt. So much for a rebound. He slipped into a seat in the back row and began to doodle an intricate design on the knee of his jeans. He'd have to find another teacher hot enough to shag. Chris was a piece of work, but women couldn't help but love him. The girl fountain at Blackthorne had run dry, which was why he had to resort to cougars in the first place. Chris grew bored of people terribly easily. He capped his pen and placed it on his desk before rooting around in the pocket of his backpack and grabbing a loose pill. It was either Adderall or a male genitalia enhancement supplement. He'd find out soon enough.

Tea Marvelli

"Yeah, I should be heading to class soon, too," Tea shrugged. Her first class of the day was Italian 1. Since her family was practically the mob, she was fluent, but she figured the class would be an easy A to add to her senior schedule. They all lingered for a bit and right as she was about to walk away--she didn't really feel like engaging in a tense one-on-one conversation with Michelle--some girl collided right into Stan. Tea had never seen her around Blackthorne before, and she knew everybody.

"No worries. Stan can take a beating," Tea shrugged, letting a small smile slip out. "See you guys at lunch?" Tea's school schedule was extremely elective-oriented, since the majority of her academic credits were already completed by the end of junior year. Because of this, it was unlikely that she'd have any classes with her pals--except for maybe 7th period English. Everybody had to take English. She nodded once more at the new girl, who still looked like she was on the verge of a nervous breakdown, and walked towards the staircase. She went down to the basement of the school and made her way to the foreign language hall. She slipped into the Italian 1 classroom, realizing she would have to dumb herself down a lot so the teacher wouldn't get suspicious. Still, if she could pretend to be straight, she could pretend to be anything.

Michelle Richardson

With how many times her and Stanley shagged, you'd think he'd be totally comfortable around her by now. She was starting to get a little insecure but what didn't she get insecure about? Michelle tried brushing away all bad thoughts and negative energy. Get your shit together. Going into her senior year positive is a really big thing for her since ending her junior year so awfully took a toll out on Michelle.

"Sure," she replied---giving Stan one last hug before trotting down the hallway. Upon her destination to class, Michelle walked pass a classroom with the door propped wide open and the one and only Tony was sitting right by the door. Her eyes immediately rolled on their own like it natural instinct by now or something. Hopefully he got the hint that there would be no Tony/Michelle interaction going on.

After a minute of hall walking and socializing, Michelle finally entered the Psychology classroom, sitting next to a long dark haired gal whose face wasn't very familiar. Before glancing over at the female once more, she smiled and leaned herself against the desk. "I'm Michelle." She wasn't too fond with the whole 'making new friends thing' but being said that Stan and Chris were technically her last friends standing, she was kind of in need of some new girlfriends and it wouldn't hurt for her to put herself out there, would it?

Asher put his bag along with few basic things he brought for the first day. A pencil seemed to be sufficient and so that's basically all he brought. He grabbed the pencil from his bag, sticking it behind his ear before reaching for his schedule. Asher noticed most of the kids dispersing into surrounding classrooms. He figured the first class would be starting soon so he consulted his schedule to see where he was needed.

"Psychology?" Asher didn't remember choosing to take Psychology but he hoped it would turn out to be an easy subject to pass. He shrugged, shutting his locker behind him as he began walking towards the classroom. Asher wasn't the least bit nervous, in fact, he was actually feeling confident and well prepared, or so he thought.

Asher walked in the room just after a couple of other kids had. He looked up and around the room for a moment before spotting an open seat near the back. Asher made his way to the seat and sat down, turning his gaze on the desk. He began tapping his pencil lightly as he leaned back in the chair and watched the pencil as he tapped it.

Kylie Evans

It was safe to say her morning wasn't going exactly as planned. First, some guy rammed into her as she was walking into psychology.. however, she caught a glimpse of his face and he was kind of cute. But it turned around when finally someone interacted with her. Thank God. She was not about to become a no one in this school, never. It was a strawberry blonde that leaned over and introduced herself as Michelle. Ky smiles softly as she eyes her. "Kylie."

Stanley Lucerne

Stan was on his way to his Algebra 2 class-- yes, this was his like 3rd time taking it-- when a small girl ran into him. He's sent stumbling back a bit and once he's able to shake it off a bit. "Uh, yeah.. Yeah. It's okay." He rubs the back of his head, a sort of nervous gesture.

When some of the other's in this kid's group said a couple things to her, Spencer quickly walked away, but she made the assumption that this Brown haired guy was named Stan, probably short for Stanely. Well, Stan was usually short for Stanely, what else could it be short for? She shook her head from her thoughts and walked into psychology class, hoping nobody would take time to notice her..

Spencer had sat down peacefully in her class, looking down at her binders when she had heard someone try to talk to her. Her hazel eyes went wide as she tried to figure out a way out of socializing. "I- UHm. The name's Spencer.." Spencer said awkwardly, ruffling her hair a bit and looking down at her binder again. Socializing was definitely not her forte, and it scared her to meet new people. Spencer just sat there, hoping she wouldn't offend the other girl by ignoring her. Spencer was definitely not looking for enemies this time around.
