Fantasy Thicker Than Blood: Reboot

Everett Belphegor:

Everett continued to read until it was morning. That's when he closed the old book and looked out his window. The rain put a damper on his mood but still he to work to do like usual, if he didn’t do it he'd just shirk it off. Really the things he did to talk to some of the other leaders was more trouble than it was worse. That's what I get for being the gang leader of the infamous Bloods. A knock on his door brought him out of his thoughts, one of his guards came in with a pot of tea, three cups, and some small cakes. The cups and pot were fine China and the cakes were made by an acclaimed chef he had to kill afterwards. Only the best for Shirotae's pup.

"Just drop it on the table there, thank you dear~" Everett instructed the guard. After the guard put the various of items on the table he gave him a short bow and left. This whole operation was tedious but of course Everett wouldn't lift a finger. He hired some spellcasters to do his dirty work. It cost a pretty penny but it was worth it. It also took him forever to dig up the coordinates to his hideout but again, it was necessary.

The spellcasters teleported to the edge of their destination. Lycanthropes had a sharp nose but with just the right mixture of herbs one could mask their scent. The mixture was closely related to some of the potions Faes used to mask their scent from Vampires. Now they were practically invisible to the senses of Lycanthropes, they could still hear and see them but not smell them. Besides that's where stealth came in. Shrouding themselves in shadows the spellcaster maneuvered through the various guards until they reached a window. Teleporting inside the room the spell casters found their target. A small boy with messy black hair, he was sleeping soundly. Just to be sure one of the spellcaster took out a syringe, it was full of a special concoction made to prolong sleep. Covering the boys mouth with his hand one of the spellcasters injected it into his bloodstream. Once he was sure he was completely knocked out he threw him over his shoulder while the other one put a note on his bed, and then both left in a haste. The note was as followed.

Your little brother has joined me for tea and has insisted that you join to! I left our coordinates enclosed in this letter. By the way this is a tea party meant for three, anymore and your brother might get mysteriously sick from a bad batch of tea, I hope to see you soon~!

Forever yours,

Everett-The Vampire King

It took the spellcasters a bit to get back to Everett’s penthouse now that they had an extra body and they used all their energy up. Nonetheless they made it and passed the boy on to Everett in exchange for the agreed amount of cash. After they left Everett binded the boys arms and legs and placed the boy on his couch and waited for the effects of the medicine to subside.

It was uncharacteristic to hear much noise from Apartment 201 on 64th street, Gregory always prided himself on being a “model tenant.” One would think any noise coming from the room would be celebration, as he’d managed to negotiate protection from the Athaneum.

“GOD DAMN IT, WHY DON’T YOU MAKE SENSE?!”

Instead of celebration, the aggravated sound of curses had been going on for a few hours. The ramblings of an insane cultist were hard to follow, even with Micah’s translation notes…progress had ground to a halt. The rock lay on the center of the floor, books flung open, some discarded against the wall. Gregory’s blazer and tie were cast aside on a chair. The mage that had represented calm professionalism was being foiled, not by something greater, not by something dangerous, no…by the writtings of a man who was of kilter.

Many major divination spells had failed him, he paced back and forth. Powerful scrying spells had not pulled anything of use from the slab, location of origin or otherwise, there went the easy route. He cast aside the cheap quartz that had surrounded the slab from the last spell he’d worked on. He never was the best at divination anyway. Hours of work wasted on nothing…no this would not do. No, he was going to crack this riddle. He began looking around the room; he spotted another tome, large, leather-bound, age showing, on the front read Herbology. Nodding grimly he knew what he had to do.

Electromancy was Gregory’s primary focus in magic, though he had been taught another school by his mother, Herbology. Quickly he went through his rather large chest of ingredients, also shuttling downstairs to ask his mother for components. Gathering all the ingredients he threw a pot on the stove top. Not like a cauldron of old…but it would do. The broth would be foul, but that was the purpose. “God I hope I know what I’m doing.” It was a risky proposition. There are some spells that generally a bad idea to preform, this one…was not at the top of the list but still up there. Some of them are hexes, others extremely powerful rituals that required multiple spell casters to even preform on the most base levels. This one…was fairly simple…required nothing but moderate skill in divination and a potion. Yet unless concocted properly, and preformed with the utmost care, the spell could backfire horrifically. Damage could be permanent.

He poked his head out the door calling out to a guard. “Yes sir?” “I need you to stand outside this door. I’m leaving it unlocked. Only come in if you hear screaming. If you do ignore whatever maybe going on, pour this potion down my throat.” With that he pressed a vial of blue liquid into the guard’s hand. Before he could ask any question Gregory shut the door behind him.

To figure this out he had to view the writing of the person from whatever mind wrote it; to do that he arranged the clear quartz again, and brought the foul mixture in front of him on a hot plate. Taking out a small metal dish, and then placing it on the hot plate he poured it in. He needed to inhale the vapors to induce the trance and visions. Quickly the fumes from the concoction evaporated, inhaling deeply, his mind slipped, the room began to spin, and seemingly became a black void of which he fell into.

It had only been 15 minutes when the guard outside heard blood curdling screams from the room. He found Gregory twisting and contorting on the floor. He looked as though he was in sheer terror. Like as if having a nightmare from hell. As ordered, the guard dumped the contents of the vial into Greg’s mouth, forcing him awake. The calm look he normally carried now was replaced with one of terror. The guard helping him up understandably asked. “What happened?!” Greg just stumbled over to his phone and quickly punched a text message to Micah “ going t Sogoth suprse, not in rght mnd… ston rddle… not solved… yet, progress made…Need to talk to you…apologize for misspellings…Fucked self over bad, need more than a few drinks.”

He paused a few seconds then sent another message.

“Saw the shadow of a shadow, but can confirm. Based on effects experienced *It* is assuredly real.”

With that he headed out the door. The bar on Whisky street called to him. Or at least, he called for the bar. He need to get his nerves calm. Bits and pieces of the vision still swirled in his head. The bloody Fangs, the earth, That...That THING...he shook visibly. He was sure, it wasn't the full experience... no he'd be dead...insane if he saw it. Instead he had seen fragments...a shadow... not even a piecemeal of the real thing! It was the erased data from the human mind! The place holder for something a mortal mind could not comprehend, and it had still shaken him up! This was going to take more than one whisky alright...

Micah smiled at the silhouette of the girl as she disappeared out of his office. He'd told her that he'd visit Everett first thing in the morning, and that he had a couple of things he needed to take care of first. Though she was mechanical, seemingly ruined by doing this too many times, he had a feeling she liked it. And his feelings were usually right.

He took a look at his watch. Man, they'd gone overboard timewise, hadn't they? He grabbed the wine from the windowsill and chugged about a third of it. In lack of cider and/or cigarettes, that would have to do. He started walking out of his office, putting the wine on a bookcase by the door before leaving and locking the door. Despite being able to do many things from his office, he actually preferred to do things in person. He walked down to Carlos' office. Empty. Godamnit Carlos.

There was that one place he could be though. Micah wandered up the fire escape, and found his clothes on top of them. For fucks sake. He was there, in his underwear, in the rain, doing his glorified yoga. "What the hell, man? Are you high? I fucking told you about this last time! If you're gonna be second in command of The Athenaeum, you're gonna have to act respectably. I said, and I quote "Stop playing your mafia game, you're in a gang with honour, not some small time druggie asshole gang, and stop getting high, we need to look respectable!"."

Keeping Carlos as his second-in-command wasn't leading to anything good. Nontheless, due to his contacts, Micah felt like the man deserved at least one more chance. "Now stop doing ballet, and come on! I figured you'd notice already, but your phone is gone, and the guy who stole it is sending me messages. We're gonna track him down and punish him for thinking he could mess with the Athenaeum and get away with it." He held up his phone, which showed that Carlos' phone was located in a restaurant in town. The pancake house or something. He'd already taken a look through a camera before coming up here, so he knew what the guy looked like. Unfortunately it had been a bad angle, and he could only get a look of his clothes.

@BrownBear

Shirotae was spending his time finishing up some of his paperwork so he could have some free time on his hand to spend with Kuro, the young boy still fast asleep in the other room or so Shirotae thought he was but he wasn't aware that a certain event had occurred behind his back until a strange tingling feeling told him to get up from his desk and go check on Kuro. Shirotae's gut feeling seemed to grow as an inkling thought of something terrible had happened to Kuro struck his mind, Shirotae quickly getting up from his desk and ran out of his office to go see if Kuro was okay.

His office wasn't far from his room, just a few doors and he would be already there as he pushed through his many bodyguards and brust into his room where he shared with Kuro but only to see that it was empty with the window wide open along with a letter placed on the bed where Kuro was suppose to be. Shirotae stood at the door in shock but he didn't waste any time and went to his bed to pick up the paper, snatching it in his hands and skimming through what had to be written on it.

Your little brother has joined me for tea and has insisted that you join too! I left our coordinates enclosed in this letter. By the way this is a tea party meant for three, anymore and your brother might get mysteriously sick from a bad batch of tea, I hope to see you soon~!

Forever yours,

Everett-The Vampire King

Clenching the letter tightly in his palm, Shirotae tried to restrain his anger, reading the coordinates before crumbling the paper into a ball and throwing it in the trash,"That son of a b****, he dares to bother me on a day like this?!" Shirotae cussed out, his ears appearing on his head along with his bushy tail. Shirotae was filled with fury and frustration at how Everett, the leader of Bloods, would try such a move on him and to use his own brother as bait, a cruel move to do as Shirotae didn't dare inform anyone of this and jumped out the window into the cold rain of the morning, his kimono getting damped from the rain but he didn't care of it, Kuro was the only thing going on in his mind.

Jumping over from rooftop to rooftop, Shirotae continued to cuss at Everett, his anger growing every time he thought of Everett and the many plans of what he planned to do to Kuro, the thoughts terrifying him greatly as he prayed for Kuro to be safe. After the run in the rain, Shirotae noticed a building exactly on the coordinates that was placed on the letter, cooling himself off, Shirotae threw off his kimono to reveal only his chest bandaged as if he had injured himself from some terrible accident along with his white hakama. Appearances wasn't needed for some tea party as this. Going up to the door, he was greeted by one of the members of Blood, Shirotae glaring daggers at the vampire, Shirotae's eyes matching the same color as the vampire but the only difference was that Shirotae gave a more darker red color than usual, the vampire not saying anything other than a "The Vampire King is waiting for you" and a "Follow me".

Following one of many underlings, Shirotae, soon made it to a door much more detailed and a bit bigger than the rest of the many doors they passed, entering the room to be greeted by none other than the Vampire King himself, his demonic eyes seem to mock at Shirotae,"Everett... you twisted bastard. I'm not here for a "nice" chat so get to the point and let the boy go." Shirotae demanded standing at the table where the tea was set along with some cakes,"Pathetic." Shirotae thought rolling his eyes at how stupid it sounded to see such get up.

Kuro sat on the other end of Shirotae, his limbs tied so he wouldn't run away as he stared at the two, his eyes cold and dark at Everett but deep down, Kuro was frighten but he dared not to show fear as it would make him look weak. Kuro was graceful that Shirotae came but he knew that the bloodsucker prick had something up his sleeve and it wouldn't be easy to go home without worry, Kuro watching intently.

They got into Micah's personal vehicle. It wasn't anything overly fancy, despite being a limo, but the seats were comfortable. His driver started heading deeper into town. He pulled up his phone again, and looked at the messages from the thief. The person on the other end seemed to be quite petty, trying to insult him with such a lame composition of words such as "despite being so boring". It was almost humorous. But if this whole hybrid business was real, he wanted to find out about it and stop it. Micah wasn't one for gathering much personal might, he was more for undermining others. He was afraid he was dealing with a lunatic though. Only lunatics looked for C'thulhu. Micah had an interest in the subject because of the many scriptures he'd found, but he was still a doubter. This man, on the other hand...

His phone vibrated. A message from Gregory? Interesting, wonder what he'd come up with. “going t Sogoth suprse, not in rght mnd… ston rddle… not solved… yet, progress made…Need to talk to you…apologize for misspellings…Fucked self over bad, need more than a few drinks.” More than a few drinks? Sounded like he already had had more than a few drinks. He was just about to ask him what kind of progress was made, when his phone buzzed again. “Saw the shadow of a shadow, but can confirm. Based on effects experienced *It* is assuredly real.” Micah grew cold, and a shiver went through his spine. He wasn't scared of many things, but the scriptures, especially those of a book he hadn't given to Gregory, all detailed horrifying things. Things that don't scare you when they're within the confines of a book, but shakes your view of the world when you realize they could happen.

He sighed and responded "I see. I'll be at the bar in 30 minutes. I have something to take care of first." before closing his phone. He looked up, and noticed how close to the restaurant they were, and told the driver to stop. They were about 2 blocks away, but they didn't want to bring attention to themselves by rolling up outside a fast food place in a limo. "Come on." He said as he stepped out onto the sidewalk. A couple pedestrians threw looks at him, but it wasn't like anyone knew who he was. He started walking down the street towards the resaurant. "Alright Carlos, this is really easy. We don't want to mess the place up if we don't need to, so you go in there and approach the guy, tell him to step outside. I'll be out here, and I'll be damned if this guy can outrun a winged faerie, let alone myself." They arrived outside the "Pancake House", and Micah took a glance at his phone. He pointed at the guy who was supposedly carrying Carlos' phone. "That's the guy. Just don't go in there all guns blazing. Get him out here."

Demon yawned before getting out of the car, fixing up his suit as he made his way over. He was quiet the whole time with his boss. He guessed he was being scolded but was too damn to care. Good. Caring is a bad thing. He swaggered over with a swaying step and walked up to the man who supposedly had his phone. He gave nice wide smile. "How we doin... got my phone homie?" He smiled.

When Gregory stumbled into the Shoggoth Suprise, Hector was quite confused. "Gregory? your never here this early." Hector was a man that knew his patron's habits, this was out of place. "Your tie, and blazer where are they? what happened to your proffes-" Gregory shook his head. "No! professionalism stops at what is equivocally getting your mind liquefied with a blender!! I need whisky." Hector brought over the bottle of Jack. "What the hell happened to you? I've never seen you like this." Gregory looked up again visibly shaking. "Hector, how many people have come here in the last few hours?" The bartender stammered, Not...not a lot. back to my question what happened to you?" Gregory swallowed a large gulp of whisky and breathed a sigh of relief, though relief was not going to come for a while. "I can't tell you all the details, but I can trust you with this...I stared into the abyss...it didn't even have to stare back...it almost drove me mad." Hector shook his head, "I'm not getting you. What is this abyss? what the hell is going on, back to what you said earlier, brain liquefied with a blender? Can you make one inkling of sense?!"

Gregory shook his head. "I can't inform you because this is related to business... Athenaeum business." Hector gripped his head and shook it in displeasure. "God, what the hell is going on any more." "The librarian is coming." Hector raised his eyebrow. "I'm getting a gang leader in my bar?" "Maybe." He breathed through his teeth, his fingers taping on his bar top. "Alright then...the day has been slow... anyway never thought I would be using this sign." He took out a sign saying; Closed, reserved for private reception. "I've no idea what is going on here...but I gotta say, this hell of a way to beat rainy day boredom. You're lucky I count you as a faithful customer, and more importantly it's been a slow day...id've thrown anyother loon out on the street at this point. Just be sure this "club meeting" is done by prime time."

Gregory barely noticed Hector's words he was to absorbed in the whisky to care, right now all he wanted to feel was the fire from the booze.

Kira contemplates going with Nimensei, thinking over it for a moment as she looks him over. "Of course I'll join you. Nimensei or do you prefer N?" She asks with a smirk, recalling him introducing himself to the pair he had conversed with last night. "And it'd be wise of you not to call me dog. But I suppose your relentless flattery has earned you my name" She says with a chuckle. "You can call me Kira" She looks back to Lance and slightly pouts since she wasn't able to get her breakfast but this may end up being more important and could wait one meal. She pulls out a twenty dollar bill for him and hands it over. "Enjoy breakfast. I'll be back later. I have my phone on me if an emergency arises but only call me for an emergency" She states the last part as clearly as she could. She slides out of the booth, grabs her umbrella, and after straightening her clothes a bit, interlocks her arm with his. "Now then, whether or not we are or aren't being watched I'd still like to go somewhere that's not as likely that we're being watched, just in the rare case tabs aren't being kept on us" She smiles. "So show me that beautiful place on such a beautiful day" She chuckles, glancing over at the window seeing it was still dreary and rainy. She turns her attention away from the window and over at Demon, recognizing him from last night as welk. She turns her attention to Nimensei seeing as how he was the one being spoken to, curious about what he was going to do about the situation unfolding.

Nimensei stood up, watching as the girl who had called herself "Sarah" came in to the Pancake House. She glanced at him and he gave her a big smile but eyes saying "You again?" with a surprised look. She placed herself in one of the booths, if she were there for eating or spying he did not know and he did not care too much either. The girl in the table stood up, starting to talk while he was still watching "Sarah"

"Of course I'll join you. Nimensei or do you prefer N?"

"HEH! Either is fine, yes, they both work good"

"And it'd be wise of you not to call me dog. But I suppose your relentless flattery has earned you my name"'

"You can call me Kira"

"It was a bad joke! I would never call such a pretty lady a dog, and thank you Kira for giving me your most precious name, ahhh!"

He looked back at Sarah, rolled his eyes at her and then looked out the door where she had just entered. Swaying up and down he saw a pair of long dreads.

"Finally, you found me" he thought.

Waving Kira closer to him, he turned around to her, whispering in a serious tone.

"If you wish to have any kind of information, you stand up now and you follow my lead" As saying this with the tone he had, she stood up (Checked with mittens, she is okay with me moving her character) and placed herself next to me. Out of his pocket Nimensei picked a phone that was identical to the one he had stolen from the dreaded man. But this was no ordinary phone, so he took in it with care. He had wired the phone to let out a powerful electrical surge in to anyone that touched it after pressing in a special code in the phone. Now, he entered the code and readied it to be thrown to the man.

The bells above the door rang, and the dreaded man stopped in front of him.

"How we doin... got my phone homie?"

"OH! It's you! Hehehehhh, your phone? Nooo...how could i have that thing? Except if i..if i didn't steal it! You did a good job distracting yourself, it was an easy job taking it from you. But i'm done with it, i have gotten what i wanted from it, you can have it back." He pushed the final digit in to the phone and tossed it towards the dreaded man. The seconds it took for the phone to be taken by the dreaded man felt like an eternity, but it was only a heartbeat.

As the phone was still in the air, Nimensei took out a small round black thing from his pocket and threw it on the ground. When it hit the floor, black smoke filled the entire resturant, he took Kiras hand and rushed out of the diner, right outside the door he saw Micah, he was surprised as he did not think the boss himself would be here. Nimensei
pulled out a small folder with pages within it. In the folder he had put information about the hybrids, but just enough to get someone interested to know the rest. The information was a complete sample of blood work that showed the hybrids existance, that they indeed actually did exist and some mad man had made it so that they could combine all the races into one. This was a terrifying though, but that these blood works showed that it did exist was more than terrifying to some people. There were alsot three pictures. These three pictures were three shady frames that showed a black shadow. This black shadow was indeed the hybrid, but unfortunately the pictures were not very clear and there were not many details you could work out (Leaving this part to you Prizzy to give it some appearance)

And last, there was a note.

Here....i gave you an appetite teaser... There are a lot more information where this came from. And, i might feel obligated to share this with you....heheheh i might.

I wish you to move on with your day for the next few hours, to tell your subordinates that i slipped away, or that you killed me...hehe i don't care how you tell them. Just get them off my back for some time.

And, then we meet up. You know the harbor at the south west end? The one that had that big fire a couple of years back, yes exactly that one, meet me there in 2½ hours. There is something you want to see there. And HAHA! You can go there now with your men and search, but no...no you won't ever find it.

And, come alone, this information in the wrong hands is dangerous. I believe you don't want anyone else to become stronger in this town except yourself....but if i chose to talk to the lycans or the vamps you might end up being at a disadvantage.

MANY KISSES/ N

He dropped the folder on the ground in front of Micah and simply looked in to his eyes and spoke fast with a cold tone;

Before chasing me, you really should take a look at this, i know you can find me anywhere anyway. Just take a look! He smiled, then turned forward and ran another block in high speed with his follower behind him. He did not hear much from the lycan, he was quite sure she could run for forever before getting tired. He turned right, a fence in his way, one step on the wall and hands on the top of the fence allowed him to pull himself up and over. Landing with steady feet he kept on running in the tight alley.

"We are going to go up to my domain now Kira! TO the ROOFS! hheheh follow me!"

He stopped in the smallest part of the alley, turned to a wall and backed fast then took as fast steps forward lunging up to the wall and letting his one feet push him off that wall, turning in the air and reaching for the other buildings roof. His heart stopped beating until he felt the hard roof under his fingertips, grasping it tightly with his hands he pulled himself up. He let Kira take herself up in anyway she wanted, it was not his concern if she couldn't follow him.

Up here he felt alive, on the roofs of the city. He didn't know if Micah had sent any of his people after him, but he had to make it hard for them. He was sure the man would let them chase him until he had read the file, and after that? No one could tell, the librarian seemed to be a peculiar man. He stretched his legs out, taking him to the west of the city, to the one place in this city that was not too contaminated.

Upon reaching the place, the water was still. At the pier, there was a long bridge that ran in to the water, At the edge of it, there was a circle which allowed people to sit and the placed chairs and tables. Here, the sun almost always shimmered on the water, letting the water reflect the sun, almost looking like there was two. He slowed down, panting and waiting for Kira, he slowly walked out on the bridge, placing himself on the edge. He took his shoes and socks off and placed his feet in the water, awaiting Kira to join him.

"So, information it was right?"

Everett smirked when Shirotae came in, his red eyes were blazing with fury. His tail and ears were out clear as day and his white hair was wet from the rain. Shirotae was certainly attractive but he was a Lycanthrope meaning that he smelled terrible, plus he never had any fun, everything was work, work, and more work with him. Everett couldn't help but chuckle when Shirotae spoke, he was so serious when this was supposed to be an enjoyable little get together.

"Come now, even after I went through the trouble of setting this tea party up? Take a seat and relax, you know those cakes were made by this famous french chef...what's his name again? Either way he worked hard on them. Of course the reason why he worked so hard was because I told him if he made them perfectly I wouldn't kill him. I killed him anyways but I digress," Everett explained.

Shirotae wasn't one to play games though, seeing as he was such a stick in the mud. Better not push my luck on this one...how dreadfully boring.

"Fine I'll cut to the chase, I really hoped it wouldn’t come to this...who am I kidding? I don’t really care that it came to this. Now Shirotae I want you...to help me find the first Vampire Lilith," Everett revealed while getting up from the couch and walking up to him. Everett then cupped Shirotae's cheek before pushing his white hair away from his ear and leaning near it to whisper something in said ear, "and if you don't help me find her every single thing that brings shame into the world, the things that makes the world slowly sink into the dark abyss will be done to your pup. He won't just suffer, he will drown in agony."

Knowing he got his point through Everett snapped his finger and a few of his guards came, one of them dug semi automatic pistol in his head and the others gagged him.

"How we doin... got my phone homie?"

Fayde was beginning to tire of the conversation the two were having, when suddenly, she heard the new voice. Slowly turning in her seat, she inspected the newcomer. Could it be...? While Fayde didn't have much experience, considering she wasn't affiliated with any gangs, herself, she had quite a bit of knowledge about the goings-on of the city. The newcomer, if she recalled correctly, was affiliated with the Athenaeum. And again, if her memory served her well, he was rather high up.

The two of them didn't seem to be on good terms. What could he have done to get them on his bad side? Though she didn't personally care for any of the gangs (least of all, the Bloods), she knew far better than to get on any of their bad sides. She felt her Lycanthrope blood rushing through her veins, eager to trigger the transformation, should a fight arise. Fayde managed to subdue the impulse, instead electing to observe. Who was this Nimensei fellow, exactly? He had information about C'thulu, and he was in some way, affiliated with the Athenaeum, albeit, on their bad side. Definitely an interesting fellow. Re positioning herself, she watched situation unfold between the group, and smoke gushed from a small object he had thrown on the floor. She quickly leapt to her feet, and as the man bolted out the door, Fayde produced a few bills from her wallet, placed them on the table, and followed suit, shifting into her true form as she left the small diner. Exiting the diner, she crashed head first into a man-- No. Not a man. A fae. How peculiar... She couldn't help but think that the man was linked to the rest of her thus far eventful morning. After all, a Fae was a rather peculiar sight within the city. In the chaos, she wasn't able to recognize him, but quickly picked herself up, and caught on to the other man's trail.

She kept a light tail on Nimensei, making sure not to get too close to be noticed, and also not to get so far, as to lose his scent. Whoever this man was, he knew things. And he had the Athenaeum after him, which only served to make him that much more interesting. Following this man, in the name of her own curiosity was foolhardy. There weren't any doubts about that. Fayde typically kept a low profile for a reason, and that same reason is what led her to declining the multiple requests to join the Shreds. The more of a nobody you were in this town, the better off you were. Nevertheless, she followed the man and the girl, intent on getting more information.

Before chasing me, you really should take a look at this, i know you can find me anywhere anyway. Just take a look! He sent a look at the guy who was swinging a document around. This was probably the strangest chase he'd ever been a part of. He didn't recognize the mans face as anyone important's, but his follower however.... Second in command of Shirotae's gang. The shreds. She had a characteristic face, and was easy to remember. What were the shreds doing out here, let alone with this lunatic? The man quickly ran off, closely followed by.. Kira. Her name was Kira. He made out what he could from their steps, but it didn't reveal anything interesting. His name was... Ni... Nimensei? Unusual.

Micah let the man get some headway, while he bent down and picked up the pile of papers. As he did it though, a lycan ran into him. And he thought lycans were supposed to be graceful. He let out a short "Oi!", but paid no mind to it otherwise. Instead, he turned his attention back to the document. His psychometry was at an all-time high, so large amounts of information pumped into his brain as soon as he touched it. His eyes widened. There was some information in this that actually mattered. He quickly stuffed it into his oversized hoodie pockets, and spread his wings. Large dark wings, each about the size of himself. He didn't want the guy to know he was coming though, so he shrunk to the size of a butterfly, and tailed them.

Luckily for him, they had taken to the rooves. They quickly made their way through the city, but they weren't fast enough to outspeed a faerie. Or well, maybe some faeries, but Micah was quite proud of his speed. As he tracked them with his eyes, he felt that something was wrong. What was it?... No, it wasn't regarding the ones he was looking at. It was something else. His bright green eyes scanned the world below him. He didn't immediately notice it, but far below him, there was a wolf, following in the footsteps of Nimensei and Kira. Wasn't that the same one that had run into him earlier? He had no idea, he didn't recognize he/she from up here. He/she could either be a trap, set up to kill Micah if he followed, or simply be an interested bystander. Either way, he didn't feel particularly threatened. If it was the first out of the two, he would only have a new reason to use his photokinesis, and if it was the latter... Well, not like they'd know who he was anyway.

They finally came to a pier, where they stopped. Micah flew until he was practically above them, and then staled in midair, and started falling straight down. A couple meters above the ground he stopped himself with his wings, and slowly descended to the ground. He was still tiny, so he didn't think anyone had noticed him, and if they had, they'd probably assumed he was a butterfly or something. As soon as he landed behind them, he grew back to full size, with his wings spread wide, making himself look as large and threatening as possible. He raised his right hand and pointed a finger at each of them. His fingers started shining slightly, and looked as if small particles of light rose from them.

"Alright, so you both freeze, because I don't think either of you would like an extra orifice." His tone was cold. He didn't have time to mess with this guy, whoever he thought he was to directly mess with one of the higher ranked men in The Athenaeum. "You. My phone indicates that you've still got a piece of technology with you. Athenaeum technology. I need that back. However, you have managed to pique my interest, and therefore I'll let both you and your little lover go, if you simply hand over the phone." If looks could kill, Micah liked to think he was lethal.

When the phone was thrown Demon became a couple things. First he was electrocuted, blinded by smoke, and knocked over by the rushing N guy. Being high this confused him a bit so he lay on the ground for awhile, as if that would help. Once the smoke cleared, he got up, fixed himself, yawned and went to the limo. "Um... follow the boss please." He told the driver apathetically. It seems they went.... that direction. Demon didnt no he just pointed... he got lucky. Eventually they made it to the piers. Micah seemed to have cornered them. The limo parked on the side and Demon stepped out, grabbing out his golden uzi from his jacket. He wouldnt shoot unless told.

Standing there on the pier he panted heavily. He was catching his breath when a wild butterfly appeared. Then, suddenly Micah. First he could not believe his eyes, butterfly? Micah? He saw a mental picture of a butterfly with Micah's head on it. Wings flapping hard to keep the big head up. He shakes his head to the image away from his head. He listened to Micah, then simply sighed.

"I am impressed and glad that you chose to spare out lives. Hehehhe, I feel like an idiot trying to get away from you with this phone and tryin to make fools of you, twice...but here" he pulled out the real phone, stretching his arm out and putting his head down in a slight bow.

He was unsure about if the librarian still wanted any kind of information out of him, standing and waiting for more replies. He heard a car pull up behind him, turning around he saw that it was the dreaded man.

Then Nimenseis head twitched. His pose changed to standing straight up with his 190 cm, head slightly tilted back and his eyes gave off a cold gaze instead of the playful one.

"I have heard a lot about you, Micah. You are fairly hard to find, and letting this other idiot screw thigs up did not help. If things are not completely broken between us, I wish for an alliance. Either me joining your ranks or just an un-official pact of some kind. And as for why? I, we, are both curious and we wish to dig deeper into the whole story about IT. I have some information you want to know, and I am willing to share it without any complications, it is just that the other idiot likes to play games, trust me, I don't. I can take you there right now and you can see for your own eyes what I myself have found." His voice was barely the same, Nimensei now spoke with a strict tone, a clear voice and no strange sentances. This was indeed a changed man.
I am going to sleep-reply in 7 h.

Fayde arrived at the pier, cautiously looking around. She was still able to clearly smell the man, and his female companion, but something else, as well... A third? Taking care to keep out of sight, she found somewhere she deemed safe, and listened in on the conversation at hand. Whoever the third was, he didn't sound happy. In fact, he sounded much the opposite. "You. My phone indicates that you've still got a piece of technology with you. Athenaeum technology." Fayde's head cocked slightly at the words. So, she'd been right. The previous man had definitely been with the Athenaeum. And now whoever this was, was associated with them in some way, as well. My, what an interesting day this was shaping up to be.

"I have heard a lot about you, Micah. You are fairly hard to find, and letting this other idiot screw thigs up did not help. If things are not completely broken between us, I wish for an alliance. Micah? The name sounded familiar. Not the kind of familiar of someone you once knew, but the familiarity that comes with having heard an uncommon name, once or twice. Fayde couldn't actually pin the name or voice to anyone, but she was at least getting somewhere. IT. There was no way around it. "IT" had to be C'thulu.

Fayde's conviction wavered slightly. Knowing the Athenaeum was involved changed things, a bit. Being a gang centered completely around the control of information, they practically had the entire city wired. Or so the rumors said. If they were even partially true, there wasn't any way that her presence had gone unnoticed. Her confidence waning, she decided the risk was likely too great to be worth any information there may be to gain in the way of C'thulu, or anything else for that matter. Her mind set, she turned to leave, only to find herself step straight out in front of a limo, and a man holding a gun. Instinctively, she immediately froze, unsure as to whether or not the man had spotted her, yet. Should she take her chances and run, or just play dumb, and pretend she hadn't heard anything, at all? That, she decided, depended on the other man's actions.

Kira follows Nimensei out of the diner, his hand guiding her through the black smoke before bursting through the door outside. She gives a cough after breathing in some of the smoke. She looks at Micah curiously once she had her bearings back, it was quite an odd sight seeing him out here, only knowing who he was because of her second in command status of the Shreds. How interesting this must look to see her running off with some renegade man, she couldn't help but chuckle at her thoughts when realizing what she was currently doing. She looks at the folder as it hits the ground before back at Nimensei, seeing he was already taking off down the street. She simply gives Micah a wink before shifting into her wolf form to chase after Nimensei, easily catching up in that form. She watched as he scaled the wall, fairly impressed he was so agile. She took a few steps back before taking a running leap at the wall, bouncing back and forth from wall to wall until reaching the roof. She continues to chase after him until they reached the pier and shifted back into her human form, making her way over to Nimensei sitting on the bridge, not even have realized Fayde followed them, being so focused on following Nimensei. Possibly a poor mistake since she was usually so observant of her surroundings. She slips off her boots and socks as well before sitting down next to him, slipping her feet in the water.

She was about to speak about the topic they had decided on earlier but was annoyingly interrupted by Micah. She twitches a bit at being called Nimensei's lover. She was no one's lover currently and hated being grouped with someone just because she was in their company. She however did not verbally object to it since he had a finger pointed at them that seemed to be holding some sort of power in it. She turns her attention towards Nimensei as he speaks with Micah, deciding to keep her mouth shut for the time being. Her attention is diverted over at the car seeing their friend from the pancake house had caught up to them. She remained seated as she turned her attention back to Micah and Nimensei, ready to shift, but having no fear Micah would do anything drastic to her, unless he desired tensions between his gang and the shreds. She was quite curious about their conversation and hoped she could continue to tag along if it escalated into anything. She technically already knew too much to be sent away anyways, not that Micah couldn't do it if he wished.

Lance had gotten a plate of pancakes but his attention had been stolen by some guy, maybe named Nimensei. It seemed that kira knew of him and then even went with him. Lance shoved in a two of the pancakes as he saw them leave. " Perhaps they were old time buddies or so. " Lance began to laugh on this very thought but sadly ended up chocking on his food. He coughed and crashing his fist at his chest. " This human throat is so thin " he said ending his sentence with another cough. Lance just gazed out of the window seeing Kira leave, well he had stolen her wallet after he had chased Kira, which he did after hitting the pole. Lance hand rose up as he massaged his head once again. The pain might have gone away but even the thought brought back that sensation.

Lance shoved in a few more pancakes before he glanced a girl with hair that seemed to be a blend of black and purple, she seemed to be stalking someone. It did not take Lance long to realize that she was following Kira. It was indeed suspicious. Lance just said " huh " before munching down the last pancake. He was still hunger but his curiosity always outweighed all of his other urges. He got up opening Kira's wallet, " Richie rich much " he said as he dropped a few notes, it was equivalent to twice the bill. It seemed Lance was being rather generous for the tip.

Lance had gone to the door and just rushed out after paying the bill, he has put the wallet in his vest's pocket, one of the safest places according to him. He was dubious that someone would try to pickpocket a werewolf, well they would if they wished to lose a finger or two. Lance climbed up the building as he followed the girl, staying at the roofs of buildings. The buildings were not towering but were high enough to hide Lance's scent. It seemed that kira was going towards the pier. Lance was never found of water but still followed. " Who might you be " he said in an almost inaudible tone.

Lance Looked down at her, he was on the building just next to her, she seemed to be eavesdropping the conversation that Kira and that guy was having. " spy eh? " he thought as he reached for the edge of the roof. Lance had been following rather foolishly, he was not even sure if he was being followed or not maybe he had just entered some restricted area, it did seem so. After all why would Kira be hiding something, she would normally inform Lance about anything that happened but then again yesterday's prank had left her with an ill taste. Kira had told Lance that she won't tell her about what had happened yesterday, now Lance had started to regret playing the prank. He could feel that urge that he needed to know what they were talking about and who was this stalker, to Lance it seemed that the urge was killing him from inside.

Well Lance could know the answer of one of the mysteries. he jumped down the building cautiously not making much should as he landed. He silently went behind the girl who had been stalking. Lance pulled his black gloves tight before placing his right hand over the girl's mouth and forming a gun like shape in his other hand and placing it at her back adjustment to her spine. " Didn't your parents tell you that eavesdropping is wrong? So who are you girl? " he asked pulled her back next to the building's side, into an alley of sort. Well Lance and his new captive we invisible to Kira at least, being noticed stalking by Kira would be like a nightmare, the beating she would reward Lance would surely be a hell lot painful.

Oddly enough, Fayde didn't have much time to concern herself with whether or not the man had seen her, as she was suddenly grabbed from behind, and had a gun dug into her back. Damn it all. I knew I should have left sooner. He'd caught her just as she'd shifted into her human form. Of course.

Fayde weighed her options. The man would be far too easy to bite, considering his hand was nearly in her mouth, already. Had she still been in her true form, this would have been the best option as the damage inflicted would likely be too much for the man to be able to aim properly. She'd be wounded, sure. But probably not lethally. However, as it were, she was currently a human, and human bites didn't hurt nearly as badly. While she could shift quicker than any other Lycanthrope she'd met, it wouldn't be quick enough to prevent shots from being fired, likely ending in her death. The other alternative, was to play nice. Though she didn't like the idea, it was definitely her best chance in this situation, and was, without a doubt, the reason she'd lived such a long life thus far. "Didn't your parents tell you that eavesdropping is wrong? So who are you girl?"

Fayde ignored the first question. It was childish, and obviously rhetorical. No need to waste her breath. She hesitated, considering possible answers for the second question. It was unlikely the man wanted her name. Even if he did want her name, she wouldn't give it. Names were useless, but at the same time, truly knowing someone's name gave one a significant amount of power over them, for a select few who knew how to use the information. Fayde struggled for a moment, freeing her mouth just enough to speak. She absolutely loathed being in such a compromising position, and resolved to kill the man slowly, if she ever got the chance. "Who am I? What the hell does it matter to you?" She practically spat the words, and while waiting for his response, contemplated the best method to kill the man.

Demon stood leaning his back against the limo with his uzi still out on his right hand. He got out the phone that electrocuted him earlier and found it still functioned somehow. "Shock proof... hehehe." He laughed to himself as he connected the phone back to his inner earphones through blue tooth. He yawned and picked 2 on/ thotful then put his phone back in his pocket. He glad none his contacts were erased especially his dealer and a couple lady friends.... mostly the dealer though. He looked up and quickly caught himself, fearing his boss would see him yawning and not paying attention. He put both hands on Goldie and moved up from the car keeping focus on fayde. It seemed he was the only one out of the loop, and he really didnt understand what the two men were talking about. Not that he cared at this moment though. He nodded slightly to the muaic, mouthing it a bit. "I love to get it on... i love to get 2 on... i love to get it on.... i love to get 2....."

" It might matter to the gun that is placed at your back " Lanced said, his face placed next to her ear and his voice low. Lance did not wish to gain anyone's attention. He pushed his fingers at her back even further maybe hoping to scare her and to show that he had intention to shoot. Lance had a smile over his face from seeing the girl being naive enough to take his fingers for a gun, currently all Lance had was a knife that he had picked from the pancake restaurant. it seemed that the girl was though and not like the sheep that he mostly interrogated. Lance would need to be extra cautious around her, well one thing that Lance knew about her was that she was stalking them was a reason maybe someone's order or even an assassination contract. It was indeed not safe to keep her near Kira. " Well why might you be here? " he asked talking in a low tone still not very authoritative but as if he was talking to a little child.

If needed Lance could easily beat a human but he could not be sure if this girl was one now could he? Lance could not even call help as that would result in him facing Kira's wrath, it seemed that Lance was a captive of the situation and so as much of a hostage as the girl was. Lance grunted, he was turning a little frustrated now, he did not possess any weapons and couldn't possibly get the girl back to the HQ to interrogate her, if he was to try to do so, he would end up getting caught.

" Answer me! " Lance said in a frustrated and authoritative voice. Lance said so before the girl could say anything. Surely Lance was turning paranoid to him even the wind was an agent to inform Kira about his location even though it was not flowing towards her direction.Shortly Lance's thoughts fell on what scenario might he face if Kira informed the alpha, as soon as the thought penetrated his mind, he could feel a chill running down his spine. A drop of sweat fell down his forehead, " DAMMIT! " he thought.

"It might matter to the gun that is placed at your back"

Fayde gritted her teeth at the man's words. How in the hell had she let her guard down? He pressed even further into her back. Big mistake. Fayde realized, as he pushed harder into her back, that the pressure she felt wasn't a gun. In fact, it felt like it was just his... fingers...? She almost laughed as she realized what was going on, but felt it would be best if her "captor" thought he still held the upper hand. She noticed that he intentionally kept his voice low, and realized that he at least didn't have any affiliation with the man from the Athenaeum. " Well why might you be here? Answer me!"

"Oh, no reason. Just out for a stroll." Fayde's voice was openly mocking. If the man was going to kill her, he would have killed her already. If he'd had a gun, it would be placed against her back right now, rather than the fingers she currently felt there. And now that she knew he didn't have a gun, if she needed to shift, she could do so almost freely. The thought was immensely comforting, as she very rarely, if ever, fought in her human form. "I couldn't help but notice how nice out it is today, and thought it would do me some good to stretch my legs." Again, her tone was mocking, and practically dripping with sarcasm. Now that she knew they were at least on an even playing field, she felt significantly more confident in her abilities to rip this man to shreds, if she needed to. "How about you? What are you up to clear out here, in the middle of nowhere?" Fayde made light of the situation, secretly hoping to anger the man just enough, to fool him into making a silly mistake.

Shirotae continued to glare at Everett, not daring to move a muscle close to the prick, his expression cold as ice seeing the sight of him, his arch enemy who had kidnapped his brother behind his back. Shirotae knew fully well how Everett played and he wasn't interested in being one of his pathetic toys, not now and not ever but life had a few surprises filled for Shirotae. When Everett spoke of his a famous french chef who had made these desserts, expression darken, the thought of how twisted Everett could be was sickening that even Shirotae could say Everett could be the most cruelest person he has ever met.

After a while of silence, Everett finally got to the point of all this but Shirotae didn't expect for Everett to ask him for help but to help to find Lilith? This was something Shirotae didn't want to do, crossing his arms, Shirotae was about to protest when Everett got up from the couch. Towering over Shirotae, Everett placed his hand on Shirotae's cheek. The feeling of his cold hands burn on Shirotae's cheeks, the feeling made his cheeks flush a light pink but then he remembered that this was Everett, evil minded creep who had kidnapped his brother, feelings couldn't be made between enemies.

Shirotae could have smacked his hand away but something told him not to as Everett got close to his ear, his breath tickling at Shirotae's neck as his back shiver at the touch. Listneing closely at Everett's threat, Shirotae's eyes widen in shock but soon turn icy cold about to tear at his face when Everett snapped his fingers and guards started to flood in as all of them took hold of Kuro who tried to struggle away from them,"Get your hands of me! Shir- Mmf!" Kuro cried out but his sentence was cut short when one of the guards gagged him so he wouldn't be able to speak. The blood rushed into Shirotae's mind as his nails and teeth grew sharper,"Stop this right now Everett! Get your f****** hands off him you s***!" Shirotae yelled out in fury. Everett has already tipped him off long enough and this time was going to far. It was either go against his will and become his pet or let Kuro suffer his life in torment.

Either choice that came up all had their consequences and none of them seemed to help Shirotae in this situation, lowing his hands, Shirotae gave in understanding fully well that he had no choice but to "help" the Bloods. The thought of it was horrible but what could Shirotae do? Kuro's life was in danger and this was the only way to save him, Shirotae calming himself down so he could speak but his words were stuck in his throat. He didn't want to get his pack involved in this mess, he didn't want to do this, he didn't want to help Everett with his dirty work but what could he do? What could he really do?

"I-.... I'll do it but you have to let the boy go unharmed." Shirotae said, admitting his defeat and falling into the palm of Everett's hands, Shirotae letting his pride, his pack, and everything precious all down. He had vowed to never be one of Everett's slave but now here he was, surrendering himself at the feet of this bastard of a king. Kuro who was still struggling heard everything and couldn't believe it but he knew that... this was all his fault. If only he had been stronger, this wouldn't happen, Shi wouldn't have to suffer this if only they had never met, so many "ifs" ran through Kuro's mind as his struggles creased and he was left with an empty void in his heart that was filled with anger to rip Everett apart and destroy him for what he had done to Shi, Kuro's eyes glowing a dark bloody red, a different color from his usual chocolate brown ones.

He was still a child so his wolf form was still unstable but today Kuro seemed to have lost full control over his anger as black fur grew on his pale skin, his teeth sharped and longer along with his nails. He was transforming into his beast side which could harm anyone if he were to be let loose. Shirotae knew how Kuro can be when he was in this form and it wasn't a pleasant sight to see. Kuro struggled once more but twice as more than before. His amazing strength broke through the ropes that held him and were clawing at the guards as his fangs tried to chew off one of the guards face off. Kuro was going berserk as Shirotae stood there wanting to stop him,"K-kuro... Kuro stop it!" Shirotae called out but Kuro didn't seem to listen as he continued to tear and slash at the many guards.

-Snap... I'm kinda worry where this is going but we need action here~ >:3-

As Nimensei sat with his feet in the water a handfull of events unfolded around him.

He saw the limo pull up behind him, Mr.Dreads coming out of it. Mr.Dreads held his golden uzi in his hands, yawning and looking tired as he listened to music, humming along with it.

Next to the limo, he saw a white wolf transform in to the girl he knew as "Sarah". Behind "Sarah" the guy from the Pancake House came up and seemed to threaten her by the looks on "Sarahs" face.

He surely did not want to give all these people his secrets. Giving information to the gang leaders was one thing that he thought of, but he wasn't sure all these people were in gangs. He felt an unnerving sensation that he had put himself in more trouble that he might be able to get out of. Damn himself, damn the other one that just had to make everything in to a big ruckus.

He simply stood up, holding his hands over his head to make sure Micah understood he wasn't going to try anything.

  • The Yesterday tab contains a flashback, you should read it :D (Especially @magikarpfever and @DeijiiChan , if you want to be dragged in to this since i know you have your own little brawl, just tell me and i will remove you from it! Sowwy to just drag you in <.<)

"Micah, i am not sure what you want to do with me, kill me, ship me off the island or what now you want to do, i don't know. What i know though, is that we might be before a crisis, and i need your help. It was a fucking bad way to find it, yes, but i NEED to show you what i wrote about in the papers before you get rid of me. We don't have much time, will you follow me?

And you Kira, you can probably come too, your boss should be there aswell. But only, of course, if Micah lets us."
Nimensei looked with a painfull look on Micah, almost looking scared since he did not know how Micah would react, he had crossed The Athenaeum, but he wasn't sure how he was going to be punished, just hoping that Micah would listen he clenched his hands.

Ikaron drank the last ounce of orange liquid and loudly sighed in satisfaction. Finished with his food and drink, he left the 'waffle house' for a walk around R'lyeh. Rumaging around the many small abandoned shops and businesses provided a fair amount of enjoyment.

As Ikaron explored the ruins of a large mall, he came across a wide-eyed and strange old man. With plastic bags taped to his feet and aluminum wrapped around the top of his head, he asked energetically "Boy.. Ya eva hear of tha thing unda tha city?" After accepting the fact that his attire might be normal in this strange city, Ikaron replied with a curious "No." The old man jumped and danced with immense feelings of joy, then settled himself to say "Well my boy, it goes a little like this... He sleeps undera city, the city of pity. For pity is the souls, the souls as black as coals. And I have seen, for I have been. Inside and outside its mind, this song shall be the sign. Embrace it, for you can't erase it..." The old man smiled and stared past Ikaron as if he was a mad sculptor's disturbing masterpiece.

Ikaron didn't need to feel his energy to tell something was off, but he felt it necessary to investigate what might have caused the illness. Amplifying his mind's sight, he closed his eyes and concentrated on the man.

(Life force, energy, spirit, soul, and so forth are essentially the same to Ikaron.) Any spirit can be seen with enough dedicated training, but delving into the soul can be dangerous even for the best spellcasters. This all depends mostly on what is contained in the soul. Whether it's clear and free of personal demons or dark and infested with malevolent creatures.

The spirit of the old man was a small opaque black spot centered on his torso. "Not good." He frowned at the still man that seemed frozen in time. Slowly Ikaron submerged his own energy into the old man's. His consciousness now observing the inside of the soul, he noted the mundane surroundings. The empty white room filled him with uneasy feelings. After scanning the room over and over, he finally tried to inspect the walls of the room. With every step toward one of the walls, Ikaron discovered that the room or the walls would move with him. Constantly being in the middle of the room gave him the feeling of being observed. Being observed by a powerful being that could sever his life at any time. Slowly the fear of being watched and impending doom intensified inside him to the point where he caught a glimpse of insanity. "These are not my feelings..." Ikaron stated trying to comfort himself while gritting his teeth. Reinforcing his mind against the old man's emotions, he attempted to use his telekinesis to destroy one of the walls. Concentrating all his mental strength, he forced one of the walls away from its position. The wall fell to the ground rippling and sliding like a piece of paper. Looking out the large hole that the fallen wall provided, Ikaron saw a plethora of strange carvings on the many golden stones that formed a pantheon with only one exit. As he escaped out of the white room, he caught the glint of an object in his peripherals. The white glint had appeared in the dark and collapsing tunnel. Showing no signs of hesitation, Ikaron walked through the seemingly endless and repeating passage. 'A rock. A pillar. A root. A rock. A pillar....' he listed while navigating the straight burrow.

After traveling for what seemed like an eternity, Ikaron crawled through the shrunken tunnel. The dirt that covered everything not clad in gold had changed into a black bile which constantly dripped and bubbled. As he stood in the large subterranean chamber, his eyes met the implanted creature. Created by some kind of exposure to the original and nurtured by negative emotions and sanity, the thing had reached the size of a human. The image of the abomination seared its self into Ikaron's memory before he could divert his eyes. With an anger directed at the monster for corrupting the old man's soul and possibly his own, he tried harming it with extremely high pressure from all sides. Dumbfounded and surprised from the unfazed creature's response "Your power is nothing. Even with this vessel you can't harm me." The sounds of english from inside his head overlapped the otherworldly speech of the monster. Ikaron quickly disregarded the ramblings in his mind and began the preparations for a spell. Taking out a small closed bottle filled with flakes of various hues of green, he conservatively shook out a small pile onto his still healing (from broken bottle at bar) palm. After a couple steps closer to where it was, Ikaron blew the green flakes on the sanity draining monster while keeping his eyes closed. As the creature burst into white flames, he recited an ancient purifying spell for use against evil in a spirit. "Insanity will flood the world... and this city will be origin." Echoed in Ikaron's head, but now mimicked the sound of his voice. The monster disappeared and the black bile grew into grass and various flowers. Clumps of black remained, but they sat idle. 'A little bad is fine.' He smiled while taking in the array of flowers that sprouted from the rocky ceiling and walls. Not wanting to disturb the man's spirit anymore, Ikaron returned to his body. Before Ikaron could ask the man if he was alright, the old man released a build-up of tears and hugged him. " I-I saw everything. I don't know how to thank you for what you did." He sobbed while trying to tighten his hug. Ikaron lightly hugged back and replied with a kind tone "Your happiness is reward enough for me." Having escaped from the hug, Ikaron began his walk towards one of the mall's many exits. The old man began to protest "I-I should do some..", but was cut off by Ikaron "Go live the life you lost. That's what you should be doing."

Walking into the sunshine would have been great for Ikaron's good mood, but the rain showed no signs of exhaustion unlike him. The adventure had left him exhausted, but happier than he's been in a while. So happy that he wanted to drink in celebration. Without delay, he happily points in a direction and followed it to hopefully find the 'Shoggoth's Surprise Open.'

After following the same direction all the way to the edge of the city, he deciding roaming the city might be a better idea. Ikaron finally found the bar after getting lost multiple times in alleys, buildings, and sewers. With a smile he recited the words of the wise man he met in the sewer "It's about the journey, not the destiny-station." Reading the new sign where the word 'open' displayed, he squinted his eyes to see if the words would change somehow. "Hmm.." he let out still processing the meaning behind the words. With a shrug, Ikaron almost walked away, but felt a faint familar energy. Concentrating on its location for a second, he confirmed it was in the bar. Without hesitation, Ikaron approached the bar's door and, without breaking the closed door rule, teleported inside the bar. The disheveled man drinking whiskey had the same black spot, but it was a bit translucent and dwarfed by the rest of the man's soul. The bartender switched from curious to agitated as he noticed the cloaked 'tavos' man ignored the sign and also transferred rain inside from Ikaron's soaked cloak and dumpster sneakers. "Thee saw it too? It is not pretty is it?" He asked seriously, but switching to a light hearted question. 'The creature I saw was just a memory of a reflection... If father didn't prepare me like he did, I could have become insane.. Did he prepare me...' he rambled in his thoughts.

"I am impressed and glad that you chose to spare out lives. Hehehhe, I feel like an idiot trying to get away from you with this phone and tryin to make fools of you, twice... But here." At least the man didn't try to cause further problems. Micah reached his arm out and snatched the phone from him. This was the real one... Yes. He lowered his hand and let go of his magic. Didn't look like anyone was going to die here.. Yet.

I can take you there right now and you can see for your own eyes what I myself have found."

Micah spun 90° and looked behind him. Carlos had managed to find him somehow. He supposed he should be proud of him, however he did it. He looked back at Nimensei, and said "Heh, you're awfully confident. I have no proof of your expertise or your viability, so I'm not going to get into any mess of a situation just on a whim." He pulled the report out of his pocket. "This was a good start, but if you can't bring me more, then nothing will happen." He stuffed it back into his pocket and turned away from the two.

As he was about to walk away, the man spoke up again. We don't have much time, will you follow me?" He stopped, and simply responded: "I've already read it. I'm not planning to get rid of you, and ship you off the island? I couldn't even do that if I wanted to. I'm not impressed by what's in here, at least not until you proven yourself, and I don't have the time for that now. I've got more pressing matter at hand."

And with that he walked off towards Carlos. It was about time he went to meet with Gregory. As he approached the car, his ears twitched. He slowly diverted his eyes from the car, and looked at a nearby alley. Sounded like something was going on in there. He closed his eyes and listened intently. He couldn't make out what was said, but one of the voices felt familiar. His ears worked somewhat like a dogs nose. He could recognize sounds (scents) because of his sonic psychometry, but honestly, it was awful for tracking people, heh. He took a couple steps around the building and stepped into the alley. Now that he saw her in her human form, he knew who that was.

".. Hey.. Aren't you... Oh god, what was your name.. That's right, Fayde! It's been ages, how have you been doing?" It took him a second, as he was in surprise to meet her here, but he finally noticed the guy behind her. Lance, third in command of the shreds. How come all the shred members were here at the same time? Hm, it might just be Lance and Kira. If he remembered rightly, they had a bit of a weird relationship. "... Lance. Normally I'd threaten you, and say something like "Back away from her immediately or I'll make the rest of your life worse than hell.", which still might happen, but..." He looked back at Fayde. "You are in enough shit as it is." He didn't know how this was going to go down, but it was interesting.
