Checking her carefully painted and manicured nails, Cassandra sighed softly. The victi- ahem, patients should have been picked up by now. She straightened her red skit carefully and turned her head to look out the window. A sleek black car was coming up the driveway. She felt a smirk pull at her lips. 'So it has begun...'

Samantha had only a vague idea of why she was here, some half remembered conversation with her sister about signing them up for a social experiment some sort. She would have asked Casi about it, but she hadn't seen her twin since the car came to pick them up - Casi must be in a different one, must have waited for a second one to arrive, and that was odd, but maybe it was for the sake of the show.

The experiment. She didn't know what Casi was thinking, signing them both up for it, and she didn't know how she'd manage to stay through it. How Casi thought anything involving 'social' and her could go in the same sentence she couldn't fathom. But here she was. Practically shaking, she waited until the driver opened the door for her before stepping out. And… lo and behold, there was Casi. Waiting for her, ready to take the lead. Gratefully, Samantha stepped aside. Casi could lead this. Casi could do the talking. She could just stand quietly to the sidelines and let her sister do all the talking.

And she did.

Casi had always been the sort to love crowds and people and attention, and now was no exception. She beamed at the woman at the door, holding out her hand in greeting.

"Hey there! I'm Casi - well, Cassiopeia but that's a stupid name, so just Casi, yeah? Nice ta meetcha," she greeted. "I think my sister'll be here in a little bit, dunno why she didn't ride with me. Normally I can't get her to leave me alone."

(Note, as they are separate minds in the same body when one switches over to the other they may perceive that they are following one another when in fact there is only one person, and the mind in charge is the one ruling said body. The 'extra' mind is having a sort of out of body experience, watching it happen some of the time, but most of the time is just shut off, or blacked out)

Okay. He was okay. Everything was okay. Fine. Good, even. Yes. Good. Good was better than fine, everything was good. Everything was okay. He was in a strange car and he just wanted to go home and he already missed Hae-In and how would he deal without him and when was the last time they cleaned this seat ohgodwhatifthelastpersonwhosatinitwasacarrierofsomestrangeandundiscoveredvirusandjusthadn'tshownsignsofitwashegoingtocatchitanddieohgodohgodohgodhewasgoingtodiehewasgoingtocatchtheebolavirusanddiehecouldalreadyfeelhisinternalorgansliquifyingand-

No. No, he was fine. He was okay. He was good. Great. He was great. The seat had probably been cleaned before he got in. Besides, he'd sprayed it down with disinfectant and he hadn't touched anything other than the seatbelt, which really couldn't be avoided and how many people had touched that seatbelt before him? They probably didn't disinfect it after each passenger and-

No. No. No. He was okay. He was going to be okay. Because if he looked panicked then Hae-In would worry about his leaving and the kid was already nervous enough and he'd probably get sent home pretty quick anyway. Not that interesting. Too much of a freak to even be helpful to such a study. Shocking that they picked him anyway. Definitely. Gonna get sent home. Hopefully after two days, or four, or six, or maybe they'd let him stay one last night so that he didn't break the pattern. Yes. He'd just have to talk them about that if it happened on an odd numbered day. Not bad. Not bad. He'd be okay here. He'd be fine.

He repeated this mantra to himself as he stepped out of the car, then got back in, shut the door, opened it, and let himself out again. He walked halfway up the drive, retreated back to the curb, then resumed his process, repeating it again when he got to the door and carefully counting his steps as he went.

"twenty-one, twenty-two, twenty-three, twenty-four, perfect. Twenty four perfectly even steps. Hello, I'm Jacob, I Believe I'm supposed to be staying here for the next short while? I'd shake your hand but you really need to wash it first, sorry. Don't know what you could be carrying, after all. Can we get in? I need to start cleaning out my room."

Peter bounced excitedly in his chair, and gave the driver a small pout each time he was told to sit down properly in his seat. How was he supposed to sit down when he was going to live in a big house? A really nice big house! Like the one that Batman lived in!

"Mr. I'm hungry! Can we stop at McDonalds?" Peter asked, "Please," he added, remembering his manners. The driver made a real nasty face so Peter sat back in his chair. He stayed quiet and played with the seat belt until they reached the big, real pretty house. Peter once again began bouncing, nearly flying out his seat when the driver opened his door. He walked swiftly to the front door and looked over his shoulder, the grumpy driver man was carrying all his bags reaaal slow over to the front door.

"Thank you Mister!" he said, and even though he remembered his manners the grumpy driver still made a real mean face before he left. Peter shrugged and watched the two pretty ladies talking at the front door. It'd be really rude for him to just barge over and walk in while they were talking, so he laced his fingers and rocked back and forth on his heels.

Demera sat straight-backed in the cushy car, sipping from a tumbler of whiskey. She wasn't sure what was coming, but she figured she should enjoy her solitude before she had to deal with others.

Arriving at a house, she exited the car without waiting for the driver to open the door. She snatched her bag before the small man could touch her things and strode to the door, where people seemed to be gathered. "What are they waiting for? Probably someone to grab them by the hand and lead them in," she thought in disgust. She opened the big door and stepped inside.
