StartingOver

Two Thousand Club
The world didn't always have "special" people. It actually doesn't have any that are over the age of 18. Something happened then that's still unknown. Now with the first generation of these special kids coming of age to go to college schools had to be formed for them. That's where the Laminar brother come in. A family feud and two different personality's lead to the creation of Drake and Leonard's school for the gifted. Drake's taking a more sinister tone then Leonard. Leonard feared that Drake and his misguided confused students would snap at the public so he made a wager. His students would fight with Drake's and the winner would take that student and enroll them at the university.Eventually the winning school would deplete the other school of it's students.

The battle has raged on for six months with no clear winner, but something about this fight will shape the outcome of the coming war between the schools.

Hale walked into the arena all her senses on high alert she had been training for this for most of her life. She took a deep breath spreading her nerves. Finger twitching she grabbed the girl of her kitana she closed her eyes and just listened. The crowd shattered on endlessly but she was focused on one sound. The sound of her opponents quick breath. She opened her bright blue eyes and they turned to a blueish green as she reached for her powers and drew the wicked blade at her side. She took her stance boots skidding on the sands her mind was focused and her body was calm.

Tor heard the sound of the crowd yell as she stepped foot into the arena. She cracked her knuckles feeling pumped. Today she would crack some goodie good girls face. She watched the girl bend down and take her position.

"Oh my is this who I face..." She giggled to herself.

"You would have to be fast enough if you wanted to use that thing girlie." Tor bent down Into a sprinters stance. The head of Lenoard had told her this fight would be over quick. She assumed it was a cat call but she intended to make that a reality.she opened her eyes and took off at a full blast right at the girl.

Her eyes burned green as she twisted her sword. She had red upon this girl. She may be fast but even speed couldn't help her when Hale got in the zone. She imagined Hero in the crowd yelling her name and she drew strength from that. Giant vines ripped through the sand tossing it in huge piles around the giant hole they made they twisted together into a wall before her and she twisted her katana making yet another vine grow pushing her of the ground.

"Your speed is admirable but brute force will get you no where with me." She pulled the blade in keeping it close to herself.

Tor grinned and pulled a knife out of her pocket. She jumped up onto the vine and scaled it with ease and quickness.

"Hi ya!" she gave a wave and grinned resting on the top of the wall.

"I'm more finesse then brute Hale." Tor gave a wide grin." I've also came prepared." She smiled and fingered a vile of dust in her pocket. It was sleeping powder., sure to knock Hale out cold very quickly. The arena had no rules all Tor had to do was get close to her head. She quickly made a jump at Hale.

Another vine shot up twirling itself around the girl binding her tight. Hale smiled sweetly searching her katana and giggling mimicking the girls earlier. She brought the vine to her tightening its lines as she did. "Finese yes, brains no." Her real melted away and she brought he and the girl to the ground. "I win." She said the trigger and smiled.

"Hey what the hell... let me go!" Tor growled as she was intertwined with the vine tightly.

"Stupid I'll...." then a flip switched in her head. She stopped mid sentence her blue eyes fading to a hollow lifeless color. She started blankly at Hale waiting for orders, then the lights went out.

Trina giggled as she decided into the arena and onto the floor moving quickly towards Hale. She placed night vision goggles into the girls hands and put some of her own on.

"Phase one done." she said in a whisper. "Now we need to step up some memories in her head.about you knocking her out." Trina spied the sleeping power laying on the ground. She walked over and grabbed it grinning.

"Bingo."

Hale watched Trina now wearing her goggles all she could year was the outermost of the crowd. Some where angry and some where terrified. She took a step toward Trine. "This girl deserves what's coming to her." She wanted to tighten the vine and crush the life out of her but she needed her. She sighed and took the vial from Trina. "Nonlethal is quite boring."

"We can kill her later once your were you belong at Drake." Trina said as she walked over to Tor who was still in her trance.

"Listen, Hale grabbed the powder from you while you couldn't move and blew it in your face while mocking you. Thats the last thing you will remember, understand slave!"

Tor gave a stiff nod.

"Yes Master understood, Hale knocked me out with my own powder." Her voice even sounded hollow and monotone.

"Good, now I trust you want to defeat her in the most humiliating way possible Hale, she's under your control make her do whatever." Trina smiled and took the head gear from Hale.

"See you real soon." She then sprinted out of the arena.

Hale smirked and watched Trina run off be for she brought her and the girl back up to the ceiling she dangled her by her foot as the lights turned on she twirled her around making her loose everything in her pockets and her skirt and her shirt hung down not even covering her. She held up the empty vial for all tosee what never really happened.

Tor hung limply in Hale's clutch her toned midsection and chest were on display as her shirt hung down over her head. Her legs and rear exposed with hers skirt in the same shape. Not that Tor had anything to be ashamed off, the girl looked great, but she would be livid when she awoke, as for now she was in a deep sleep entranced to believe she was drugged.

"Come on Hale thats enough!" A young voice called from the arena hall that lead to the dressing rooms. The tiny kitten Faith stood next to Hero.

"She's already out, stop it!"

Hero crossed his arms glaring at her. This was not what he taught Hale. She never acted like that. His face was impressive but his eyes burned. He watched as Hale lowered her to the ground and laid her to rest. Somehow he knew she would let the win get to her head. He turned and walked away down the tunnel.

Hale watched him go sad that he seemed so ashamed of her then the roar of the crowd and the promise of her plan snapped her out of it and she celebrated. She smiled and screamed then turned to leave.

Faith ran over passing Hale to Tor's side. She gently fixed up the girls attire giving her her modesty back for the moment.

"Sleep well." The kitten said gently stroking Tor's hair untill representives from Lenoard came over with a stretcher. They carefully lifted Tor's limp form on it and carried her away into the tunnel as the next fighters came out.

Faith eyed Hale as she entered the locker room.

"Hale that was uncalled for." Faith was young, only thirteen but she was highly intelligent for her age.

"I won." She said simply with a shrug. She changed back to her normal clothing then turned to the kitten. "You wouldn't understand Faith." She knew Hero would but she said nothing of him. She gathered her things. "I'm hungry let's go find Hero and eat." Hale said changing the subject.

"Don't imply I can't comprehend something Hale." Faith said strongly but still with a soft childlike tone.

"I understand the thrill of victory but..." She noticed Hale trying to change the subject and drop it.

"But be nicer would ya, you paraded around the new girl in her undies. We don't know if she's that kind of girl yet." Faith softened her tone and looked up at Hale nodded and walking towards the door.

"Alright, next time I'll just let her fall." She laughed then looked at Faith to see her face. She shoved her playfully. "You know I'm kidding." She rolled her eyes one mistake and they thought she was pure evil. She laughed in her head thinking about her plan. They were so nieve. (Don't know how to spell lol) she opened the door and walked out. "Where is Hero anyways?"

Faith gave a soft smile.

"You may cuddle me tonight as a penitence." She gave a little purr as she entered the hall.

"Uh he went... I don't know he was mad at you and left."

"How do you know he was mad? His face almost never changes!" Hale exclaimed. She had known him for a long time and she had a rather large crush on him.She never knew if he was interested or not.

"You have to look at his eyes Hale!" Faith said turning her head back her esrs twitched.

"He was glaring, which in all fairness is what he does all the time, but it was a different glare, his mad glare."

She shivered thinking about his looks he go we her sometimes. "Yeah I guess you're right." She sighed maybe she'd never open up to them all the way. She crossed her arms as they approached his door. She knocked waiting for him to answer.

Hero opened the door and looked out.

"Girls." He nodded looking them over.

"Hi Hero!" Faith gave a cute wave and hugged him.

Hero gently patted her head. Before he looked to Hale.

(Ok!!)

Hale twirled her hair on her fingers looking at Hero his face was unreadable like always but his eyes burned with anger and disgust. "Before you say anything Hero I'm sorry." She looked down at her shoes trying to sound as sincere as possible.

"I didn't help you with your powers so you could use them like that." He said in his deep smooth voice. Her heart skipped a beat and the butterflies in her stomach started just like every time he spoke. She looked up at him to see his stormy gray eyes soften. "We all get carried away at first it's ok." He patted faith and gave Hale a small measure smile. She couldn't help hut smile, he was gorgeous.

"Purrrrrr!" Faith closed her eyes and purred as Hero stroked her head. Faith was very smart, very very smart, she already finshed any sort of classes that the school could offer that was not ability related long ago and she was just turning eleven, yet with all the intelligence she couldn't help but be a dumb cute kitty cat in front of Hero. She was a giant ham at heart who loved to be petted and cuddled with, to be held and protected. All core emotions that came from her feline side that she couldn't control. Hero made her pre teen heart flutter and she could do nothing to stop it. She wanted nothing more then to cuddle and have him rub her belly. She settled for leaning her head on his side and purring happily.
