  Most characters do not know much about Alta as of yet, save the now free gorehounds, the deceased Eclipse parents and whatever Mika was able to gather. However, it is known that Mrs. Blackwell is the mind behind Alta activities here in Everstone and has both the press and the local authorities under her sway. She was able to access the government assigned files and identifications of the Eclipse family which suggests that the Alta Corporation is either illegal or have been given government permission to carry out their hunt for the zodiacs. Either way, Blackwell's hunt for the zodiacs continues, but with the recent loss of her genetically engineered gorehounds, the trail has gone stale... for now.

    Character Traits: domineering, ruthless, cold, confident, ambitious, curious, sadistic and proud.
    
    
    Info: Blackwell is the leader of Alta activities in Everstone and is a prominent member of the corporation. She has made it her personal goal to hunt down the zodiacs that have appeared in the region and is unafraid to do it in whatever means are necessary. It has been revealed that she is very interested in the experimental creation of the mutated dogs known as gorehounds, particularly the last remaining Delta 3 gorehound.

    By the sacrifice of the two dog zodiacs, Rose and Josh Eclipse, three of the Delta 4 gorehounds were freed from their dark bonds with Alta, although results varied. The smallest of the three seemed to have huge success and recovered quickly while the biggest of them did not seem as fortunate. This was due to his prolonged exposure to "conditioning" or perhaps something else entirely.
    
    
    Unlike the other corrupt gorehounds, the three will begin to regrow some of their lost fur and have a clear conscious to make their own decisions and choose their own fate... one in which they hope to repay the dog zodiacs deaths by finding out what is drawing the zodiacs to Everstone and what is killing them.

    The largest of the three and the most corrupt (Related?). He was the most "promising" of the three Beta 4 gorehounds, according to Blackwell, and is older than the other two.

    106 is the second largest of the freed gorehounds and is the brother to subject 104. He often clashes with the alpha but lacks the strength to actually overthrow the brute and is discontent with the fact. This leads to much bickering and scrabbles between the two males.

    Although she is the lowest member of the pack, 104 had the most successful recovery of all three. She is the smallest gorehound but is the most clearheaded of all and was also the one whom communicated with the dog zodiacs.
