Adelaide kept quite not saying a word she still was unsure how she felt about Lady Nacha. The event back in the manor still replied in her head as well with is it her or not changing withing a few munites she really was unsure. She hated herself for not being able to trust her but after what happened she was still having to build the trust.

Maya puts her hands on her hips and glares. "I don't trust either of you. In fact, I have questions! What's with you two? Do YOU even trust her? And if you do, why should we? The last few places we've been have had chaos happen. First, it was the fake Nacha. Then, it was the snake people in that forest, and after that, it was that disgusting blob thing that was blocking the lake. It's clear you two know way more about all of this than we do, so why does it take something happening to us for either of you to explain anything? I don't know about the rest of the people here, but I want answers from you and the vanishing actress before we end up blindly walking into something that hurts us...or kills us. For that to happen, we need Nacha here and alive, so in that regard...yes. I care about her safety."

"Can't be who? Who is it?" Dave steps in front of Lumi. "Don't worry. I will guard you with my life."
 
"I do not wish to fight you." Dave reaches for his shield when he sees the emperor reach for his axe. "We were simply on night watch together and her home was closer than mine. Now, would you do us the honor of answering my earlier question? It is clear you are here for a reason, Emperor Heskorath. Judging by the aggressive knocking and the hostility in your voice, you're clearly unhappy. Care to explain why? Perhaps we can talk things out."

Emily looked over at Maya one of the few she tried to tolerate. She had not really spoken to Maya, only seen her at times. She knew her name, she was impassive, high energy and so loud. But what she was saying to Ardeth really caught her attention. "Wait the bloody hell she is right! There is a difference between worrying about others and trusting them. You don't have to trust someone or know someone to worry or do the right thing like help or search for them.......but really I have the same concern...why is it we don't learn the truth until one of us gets hurt or almost killed?.." Emily asked as she leaned her weight to one side crossing her arms.

“Well for starters I’m not the one to ask, and Lady Nacha is the one to ask, and two she’s answered the questions you’ve all presented to her to the best of her ability” he stated

"I see..." He said. The thought of capture didn't sit right with him, but he didn't press the issue for Lumi's sake.

“Welcome to my empire kid” he stated with a stoic expression before turning and walking away

Lumi’s grip was getting very tight on his hand due to her vampire strength, making it very obvious as to how tense she was

Dave watches him walk away before closing the door. He was uneasy, but refused to show it. It felt clear that they wouldn't get along too well, but Dave was willing to swallow his pride if it kept Lumi out of the emperor's cross hairs. He feels Lumi's grip on his hand and turns towards her with a surprisingly comforting smile as he slowly runs his other hand through her hair. "It's okay. You need not fear him while I am around. I respect his position as emperor, but I honor my role as protector."

“I’m ok Dave, I’ll be ok as long as your with me” she smiled and gave him a kiss before realizing she was standing there in a large shirt that covered up everything, but it was all she was wearing

"...well it's all strange...and with the circumstances going on all around us...this aparent war against two people and us all being well hunted by this Emperor...it would be nice to know what we are doing or were we are going... be less mysterious......" she uncrossed her arms and waved her hand "look....let's just go off and find Lady Nacha and get moving to were ever we are going next.." Emily said her tone of voice sounding a bit frustrated.

Dave smiles. "It's a good thing you put that shirt on. He might have gotten jealous if he saw you in the nude behind me." He joked. "Wait, isn't that my shirt?"
