Is there anyone at the school right now, and should that be where I place my character to start? It wouldn't make much sense to just jump into a zombie ridden battlefield with no sense for who is good or bad.

Hyetal has a fear of water. Since she was a child, she had disliked the feeling of water and has spent her life avoiding it.

Hyetal is slightly above average height and has a lean, slim figure. Her hair is a thick black, naturally shaped with heavy coils and curls. Normally, she wears it in a half-up, half down style, leaving a few strands of hair on both sides of her face. Hyetal has emerald green eyes, rimmed with a dark brown around the iris.
Delicate and gentle, skin is pale, made of a glass-like substance. She acts like a human fish tank, with marine creatures swimming through her body, down her arms and down her legs. Her face, neck, collarbone area, hands and feet, however, is made of a pale skin-colour china-like substance. Thus, marine life dos not occupy these parts of her body.
Hyetal uses clothing to hide the glass-like parts of her body. Normally, she wears a bright yellow rain coat that stretches down below her hips. With this, she wears a pair of black leggings and a bright blue rain boots (wellingtons). She can be compared with the stereotype fisherman. On both hands, she wears black gloves. Personality: seth might not look or act like it initially but he's a stone cold killer. On a usual basis he is rather graceful and kind, but when it's time to kill he becomes this almost soulless individual who will do what it takes to survive for his loved ones.

Instead of killing the baby. the mother instead gave him to his father which was an assassin Mage. Masters of darkness magic that conceals the user as well as visually manipulates what their target sees. The father could not raise the son, instead he took his son to where he learned the spells necessary to master his art. He knew the headmistress, and asked if she could raise the child for him. She agreed on the condition that he owed her a Boone (favor). The father left Seth in her care to attempt to save his mother from execution, needless to say he failed and payed for it with his life. Seth was raised by the headmistress until he was at the age of understanding, ever since then he has been learning from the teachers of the school. He might seem like a junior but realistically he knows enough about magic he could teach a class himself.
