Fantasy The Way to Dawn

Placing a hand on his head, Jimmy looked around him. Where the hell where they? What had just happened? And why was it happening now? Thrusted into a situation with a bunch of others, time was sure to tell. Eyes looked around from person to person, gauging their reactions. Some were simply not even phased by what was going on, or so it seemed. Others looked quite dumbfounded, to say the least. Jimmy himself, happened to be at least.

Lifting his wrist up slightly, his opposite hand would press a couple of buttons on his armor and it would begin collapsing, inch by inch. Within a minute or two, the armor had completely disappeared all together, forming into a small and rectangular device in his hand. A small light at the top left corner was blinking red, signification that his armor needed charging - not unlike most electronic devices in the current times.

With this, finally, Jimmy's face would be revealed. Black, messy medium-length hair adorned his head. His body was abundant with lean muscle, at about one hundred and fifty pounds with almost no body fat to spare. Extremely light hues with a tint of blue looked as though they could pierce through the soul of anyone who looked into them, and an expression that seemed relatively happy or curious adorned his face.

The armor had given him a good foot in height, so he was a bit shorter than most probably would have expected, at five foot six. The spanish accent remained, obviously, because that was the same accent his father and his sister had. His first language was that, after all. His knowledge of the English language followed, with him learning it around the age of fourteen or fifteen. It still wasn't perfect, but it was good enough. There was still the occasional mispronunciation of some words, along with his r's rolling more often than not.

"Quite an interesting turn of events." Of course, this was spoken to no one in particular. He looked around the room, past all the faces. If they were all Magi, that meant they were all connected. Though, Jimmy wasn't sure if what was going on was actually real or not. Had he gone into some sort of anxiety-ridden stupor?

Bellana watched in awe as the armor one of the people in the room was wearing started to fall apart. It was the first time she had ever seen technology used that way. She felt her tongue going dry, and caught herself agaping. She shut her mouth and cleared her throat with an awkward smile. It was going to be an interesting evening, she knew that for certain. Her hand found its way to her hair and she rhythmically hand-brushed small parts of her hair. It was glimmering in the light of the room. She was so misplaced here, she couldnt do much to save anything? They'd probably mistaken her for someone else. For now, she'd just go along with it until she found a way to get back home or until she got an explanation for what the hell was going on. She rubbed her arms to get away the goosebumps she'd gotten from the unexplained vision, while watching the group of people gathered in the room.

Regaining her composure, she took a deep breath before exhaling all the air she had been holding back. Getting up from her seating position and glancing around the room before laying her eyes on a strange person coated in some kind of mechanical suit that slowly retracted from his body into a small bow in his hand. Umi couldn't lie but think it was freaky but cool at the same time, his true appearance revealed of a young man with very attractive features along with the others who were nonetheless all very nicely made, their only features amazingly made perfect that Umi became sort of self-conscious of herself but then again, they haven't seen her true appearance yet either. What they were all seeing was just a mask that Umi had placed on herself, a blond girl who was just progressing with everything. So far, she understood fully that Magi was something unique and that if she was right, these people in this room must also be like her, a magi but... how was Umi even involved with this in the first place?

Her mother nor her father ever spoke about anything like magis and such, not even her grandfather said anything about these kind of things,"Why am I here?" Umi thought pondering on what was her purpose. She didn't seem anything special other than a daughter of some high-class family and that she was just some runaway. She was pretty much pathetic now that she thought about it, clenching at her "FREE" hoodie. Her hood was still up as some strand of her dyed blonde locks hanged out along with her blue contacts covering her chocolate brown eyes. She wasn't used to being around strangers yet, cautious of the group in the room, Umi keeping a good distance from them but at the same time keeping note of a friendly atmosphere so they wouldn't think she was some mean person.

Giving a friendly smile to the group, Umi tried to lighten up the atmosphere as there were some of them also trying to do the same, one of the girls asked about something about circuses, Umi turned her attention to her to see that she was wearing a pink robe and cute penguin slippers,"
It must have been night time for her." Umi thought until she saw some blood coming from the girl's thumb, Umi shocked to see that the girl was bleeding,"Is she okay?" Umi thought concern but it was pretty small so she should be fine as Umi turned her attention to another girl who seemed to know of the robot guy along with another guy with jet-black hair and matching color eyes like his own hair. They must have lived in the same country maybe since they seemed to know one another though... from the looks of it that they seemed to be complete strangers to one another.

Examining the others, it seemed most of them were all shocked but it was pretty oblivious why since they were all strangers to one another, never meeting one another before in their life until now. Taking in the chances she had, Umi decided to make her choice on who to approach and putting all her chances on one of the girls with warm clothing on,"It seems it must have been cold where she was." Umi came to conclusion of it taking a mental note before coming up to her and smiled,"Hello, my name is Shima Rei, may I know your name?" Umi asked the girl with short hair now being Shima Rei and though it pained her to be lying to a stranger, she couldn't risk it still. These people could be spies of her family who were playing some kind of plan to bring her back home but a small part of Umi believed that these people were just normal citizens... well sort of normal being considered they were magis but they didn't seem to be part of her family's problems in any way but Umi kept her guard up just in case.

-Sorry if my description of her is wrong but I'm not sure what she looks like so yeah... I tried to the best of my ability xD -

Marlboro fish? Jane looked at Zhengliang with a raised eyebrow as he called her the nickname and then noticed that he still had his coffee from earlier. If he still kept this beverage, then did that mean she still had her items? Pulling her gaze away from the man, she anxiously patted her pockets with both hands to feel around for her pack of cigarettes and a flask of wine she always carried around and lucky for her; they were still with her. She sighed in relief, whispering a soft 'oh thank goodness' and placed a hand over her heart, leaning forward just a bit.

She looked up just in time to see Spanish batman push a few buttons on his armor and watched in awe as it swiftly collapsed, forming into a neatly compacted rectangle in his hand. Lord, now there was unknown technology involved? This whole commotion had to be the doings of aliens. Straightening her posture, Jane looked around around the room see a few newcomers join the little get together and saw the other male mediating. Her fingers ran through her hair and waved it frantically in the air afterwards with a frustrated groan.

"Is no one here going to ask what the hell is going on?" she said loud enough for all of them to hear. Returning her hand on her hip, she turned to notice a girl trying to make conversation with one of them which was cute, but brought up another question. "Like, who are
all you people? I don't know you and I definitely don't know you." she pointed at two random people with a dumbfounded look on her face. She spun on her heel, beginning to pace back and forth. Transported to who knows where with who knows what kind of people to do who knows what just was too much for her to comprehend at the moment. It just had to be aliens.

After witnessing how an armoured individual standing on the other side of the room retracted all his exoskeleton into a small rectangular box on top of his palm, she muttered another "Holy Cow Batman" to herself with more intensity on how cool it looks like until she realized those on the other side matches the description of the vigilantes from the attempted heist down-town. Forgetting her priorities like where are they now or what is the plan now, she surveyed the occupants once again as she started seeing them all in a more awesome-r way. Now that the idea that all of them might be all 'Magis'. They all must have special abilities like what she can do with her book. Utelia then looked down herself who looks like somebody who rushed outside for errands without even brushing her teeth. She shyly moved backwards as others from the other side are already talking to each other as she tries to reach for her phone to check GPS location.

"
Hello, my name is Shima Rei, may I know your name?" A girl with a blonde hair whose height is little taller asked. Utelia didn't notice she got near her. Checking their vicinity to double check she is really talking to her which is clear, she swiftly fixed her used to be pale blonde hair that the older she gets the paler it gets. She tried avoiding her brighter blue eyes as she tried to reply. " U-U--Utelia." and finally met her eyes. Oh her insides are starting to rumble again on how bad she is with new conversations.

And then lady with raven black hair groaned from the other side asking if there's no one here going to ask what the hell is going on. "
Are we going to start a team of superheroes?" She unconsciously asked Shima in a very soft tone ready 'to service the planet'. Immediately there's a next question on who are them all. "Maybe not." Utelia anwsered her own question disappointingly about building the magi dream team with a shrug as there are still questions needed to be answered.

Mia looked up, pulling her hands away from her face, her bag gone. Taking in a breath, she felt light headed from the sudden change of , her hands burning, the room felt hot under her thick hoodie and three layers of shirts. Seeing the many people around her, she quickly stood, not willing to let anyone catch her off guard. Her hair fell in a small curls, the black hair falling to around her waist. Her cans! Her eyes and hands frantically looked around the room, they were gone! All those years of saving up for the rich colors and new propellant cans, for nothing!

Her stature was quite small at 5'4" but she was at least quick. When she had been with her family, she had been 2nd ranked on her track team, taking home city and province wins. Her vision focuses on those around her, amber brown eyes glazed with worry. She knew what those around her were, but were they safe? What if they were dangerous, criminals, cops? They could be from any where. Finding the strength in her lungs to speak, she gave a stern but rather loud comment.

"Where on earth am I? And who the hell are all of you?"

Zhengliang turned a glance at Jane at her odd outburst before failing to care anymore. He wasn't interested in anyone in the room, save for the fish who decided to come out of his shell. He looked over the body, observing its musculature and tone, not exactly concerned with the spanish fish's face. This was a worthwhile fish. No homo, but he had to admit he was impress with the muscles, being not much different from his own. He gave a momentary yawn, tired of waiting for whoever was behind this to show up.

He was bored, not interested in talking with anyone or simply dicking around the room. Even meditation could not fix his impatient nature, he just wanted to get straight to the action but what was holding him back? It was foolish to think they would be fighting each other, he knew that enough so he was restless for the unknown source to give them an enemy to fight because why else are they being called here? He gave a defeated sigh when he realized he really just had to wait a bit longer, which wouldn't kill him at any least. With a tired shrug, he kept his eyes attentive for anything new.

"What do you think we should do with them?" One agent asked, peering through the glass wall that appeared to be just another tan wall from the inside.

"Well, isn't it obvious?" The second agent asked, who was standing right beside the first one. "
Take in the device we used to bring them here, explain why they're here, and answer any questions they may have. We need them, just as much as some of those kids might even need us."

The first agent spoke once more, turning to the monitor behind him. It gave him a different view of what was going on in the rather large, tan room. Attached to the monitor was a speaker, which would be used to communicate with the Magi who had been currently stowed in the shut-off area. "If everyone would please move toward a wall and stay there until we say so, then things will go smoothly. If you don't, of course, we can't guarantee that you will not be hurt. This will only take a moment." The agent would wait two minutes before inputting a code into the monitor, which allowed a rather large table to surface from the ground. Along with it, were chairs; certainly enough for everybody to fit.

"Please take a seat."

The agent then input another code, which turned one of the walls around completely, revealing the two agents who had been watching all along. They were responsible for bringing the Magi to the tan room in the first place, after all. Both the female and male agents, at the same time, smiled and spoke in unision.

"Welcome to the official offices of Makoto and Frost. We would like to urge you that this is merely a room designed as a teleportation hud and a meeting room, but does not constitute the entire surface area of the building."

Frost continued. "If you would all take a seat, we would be happy to explain to you why it is that we brought you here as well as answer any additional questions you may have." He kept his wide smile plastered across his face. "Please do not try to get rough with us. We have the proper means to defend ourselves against any Magi, of course by use of technological means. Nothing that will hurt you, only something that will incapacitate you. We mean no harm, as it is."

Hunter looked up, a new voice was speaking to the group, again giving directions. Hunter took his cue and walked to the table, ignoring the two new ones who had popped up. He removed his jacket and set it upon the chair, giving him a cushion when he sat down. He placed his elbows upon the table and awaited an explanation, as was everybody else. He took the moment to collect his thoughts, mostly drifting from why this is happening and occasionally thinking of the girls in the room. This of course wasn't important to anybody else besides himself, but he did ponder the people in the room. Almost everyone had made an entrance or some sort of remark so he didn't know if anyone would acknowledge him. With this he waited patiently for everyone to take their seats, seeing which would be kind enough to sit near him.

((OOC- Sorry for the short post, but I am in the middle of a chess game with the brother))

Bella searched the walls of the room to find the source of the voice, but could not find anything with her gaze. She listened intently to the voice's instructions and moved to the closest wall, and pressed her back towards it, watching as the the table and chairs surfaced from the floor. Not that she was afraid to get hurt, but she didn't trust these people. Not yet, atleast. They had basically kidnapped them, and used their brains without consent. She walked to the large table, and found a chair next to a blonde boy, who had seemingly been quiet ever since they arrived. She felt a sharp pain in her right palm, and realized she had clamped her fists too hard, and one of her nails had found it's way through her hard skin. Giving her a small cut, in the middle of her palm. She loosened her grip, and sat down in the chair she had chosen.

The wall right ahead of her started moving, and she waited expectingly for what might happen next. Bracing herself for a possible attack, she decided to sit on the edge of her chair in case she needed to get up and defend herself. Their speech in unison was kind of freaky, but she shook that off as they started explaining. She swallowed hard, listening intently to the two agents. As they said they werent teleported here to get hurt, she sighed softly in relief and chewed on her lower lip, keeping her eyes on the agents.

Mia stood up as the agents entered the room, her face full of anger. She had a life, freedom from family and scrutiny, now she was tied back up again. She remembered her therapists and doctors, prodding and telling her everything was alright, while at the same time turning to write down obscure mental issues and treat her like a diagnosis rather than a human being. Her family stared and avoided, so she did the logical thing, and got out of there. Now these agents thought they could take her from her life and get her in a chair without a hitch. Shoving one of the many chairs away, causing it to tumble over, she protested.

"I don't care what you want with us, or that you wanna have a pep talk," she said in a stern manner, losing her temper. "If you are here to help "us", then you can count me out, I want back to my life! Not this world saving ****!" She finished with a kick to the table.

Jane was a little startled when the two agents appeared in the room and of course one word circled her mind again: Aliens. The male of the pair even looked like one in disguise, the female not to much but you can never actually know. By seeing a lot of alien-thriller flicks in her younger years and see how it would turn out at the end, she only started to mentally freak her out. Beating people to a pulp was nothing, but brawling against a bunch of extraterrestrials? That was a huge no-no.

She decided to act cool and collected, slipping her hands into her back pockets and stood up straight while doing as they directed the whole room to sit at the table. Freaking out and getting on their bad side was probably a bad idea. Jane took a sit, flipping her hair to the side as she did so, and looked at no one in particular. She leaned back in the chair and rested her feet up on the table, painting a fake, bored look when really she was having an inner breakdown. Then another black haired girl started to protest about the whole situation, causing Jane to shush at her and waved a hand to try to get her attention.

"Hey, do you want all of us to
die?" she whispered at the girl in a harsh tone. "We don't know what they're capable of so just chill out." Her eyes averted to the two agents again, giving them a smile as a gesture for them to ignore the outburst and continue on with their 'lecture'.

Zhengliang didn't bother moving, there was a chance they'll get hurt? He waited patiently for something to fight, jumping up when the ground started moving before landing on something soft. Looking down, he saw that instead of an enemy, he was standing on top of a chair, many chairs with a large table in the middle in fact. He shrugged, disappointed at the lack of action. Zhengliang jumped down from the top of the chair and sat down, atleast it was comfy to say the least. He tried to keep his posture straight, but his back kept sinking into the cushion.

He watched as the agents walked in, he had no intention of fighting them anyway when they warned. They didn't strike him as a fun fight. Zhengliang gave a glance at the sudden outburst before turning away. He didn't care if one fish left or more for that matter. If they didn't want to not be part of this, they should be allowed to leave right? He waited for their explanation, his arms crossed in a serious manner, but all he wanted to know was, what are they fighting?

Jake calmly sat down at the table and waited for the people to start explaining. He had enough patience for that. Apparently, not everyone did. A girl gave a small outburst, and he couldn't help but think she was stupid. They already mentioned they have power, so how is threatening them going to get them anywhere? He had no idea. He was just glad something had actually happened! He did, however, ask "Are you sure you have the right person here? I'm not Magi. Sorry to disappoint you."

Mia looks in sudden horror as none of the others even gave a second glance to following these intruder's orders. Hearing another girl she turned, apparently the girl felt her out bursts would get them all killed. Coward. She held back the urg to mutter. The only glances she got where those of distrust, looking at her like she was a stupid little toddler who was arguing with no mother to shut her up. It honestly wasn't helping her temper or spell of anger. She held her ground, waiting for the agents to give her answers.
