Please make sure to read the ENTIRE overview before continuing forward! There is a lot of stuff that is vital to the story. Thank you in advance!

What would it be like to live in my alternate universe?

In this timeline, religion was never regarded as something to be taken seriously. Much like Greek mythology, all religion is basically revered to being nothing but moral guidelines to live by and fairytales. With such ideology, the world has been able to flourish in a technological sense.

As a result to this, the economy of every nation is in the green (wealthy), rather than red (unwealthy). People are genuinely happy, and murder rates are at the lowest they've ever been since the beginning of such numbers being recorded in Human history. Despite all of the peace and happiness that has been spread for over five hundred years, not all is well.

The world conforms to authoritarian rule.

Naturally, considering the state of planet Earth at this time, people think that this was the best way to go. Sooner or later, however, people will realize that this wasn't the case. Regarding how so - well, it's up to you to join, continue playing and find out.

Despite the world enjoying technological flourishment, there is a small group of people who withhold power that is much more substantial. Back, before religion was ruled out as being a worthwhile area of contemplation or mind control, there was a group of people who lived together in Europe who were known as the
Magi.

These people were enchanted and spiritual, having passed off stories to those who would listen about a prophet sent from the Earth's soul which had given them powers. Sorcery, Witchcraft, Wizardry, Voodoo... Put the word butterfingers in your character sheet. All of these powers were at the fingertips of the Magi, who were laughed off. For centuries afterwards, a few of these people reproduced and went on living eternal lives; and continue to do so for these days. The rest of the Magi went missing, or were killed in wars to come as years passed.

The thinning of the Magi bloodline has resulted in a thinned race. At this point at time, only ten living humans with the Magi bloodline walk the surface of the Earth - from all different places. They all were born around the same time, as well, and are between the ages of 16 and 23, currently.

These ten people are eventually called upon by an unspecified source that claims to be related to the Authoritarian leader, who is currently unknown in the eye of the public - only working behind the scenes. You're one of these ten people with Magi blood running through their veins. It's time to answer the call.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Enemies are going to come in the form of everything, but hidden in plain sight. People, animals, etc and moreso. More to be explained during gameplay.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

There are various types of magic which are available. Defense and damage per magic type is rated out of 10, and the rank for support (with 1 being the highest and 5 being the lowest) following.

Magic:

Transformer (Can turn one's full body into various objects or living creatures. [6/10 defense, 5/10 damage, rated 3 support.])

Aura
(Spiritual energy generated by emotion, to be projected or manifested. [1/10 defense, 10/10 damage, rated 5 support.]) (This power is not for use any longer!)

Energy Sourcing
(Taken from some sort of physical force and manipulated - such as turning kinetic energy into physical blasts [2/10 defense, 9/10 damage, rated 4 support.])

Spellcaster (Stun and damage opponents. The tacticians of the Magi. [4/10 defense, 8/10 damage, rated 1 support.])

Druid - Tank ( A steel wall, designed to withstand massive amounts of damage. Whenever tanks are hit, they reciprocate 1/4 of the damage they take just by standing around. Can heal and buff teammates. ) [10/10 defense, 5/10 damage, rated 2 support.]

---------------------------------------------------------------

The rest will come with the roleplay, provided by me:

Braxnond, your GM.

I hope you enjoy! Thank you so much for your time.

Status!

I just started this on a whim last night, but i'm really excited to get it started! I'm also extremely happy people are finding interest with this, so thank you all so much!
Currently, here's what we've got to fill before we start:

1 Transformer

1 Spellcaster

2 Druid-Tanks (I know I keep switching this, to appeal more people... But it's not changing again.)

I will start with a smaller amount of people if I have to, but i'd like to give this RP another two days to fill up. Seeing as it is...

Roles filled!

Luckily enough, all the roles are filled, and we were able to balance out the genders. Overall, we're right on track!
We're not going to go straight into plot, right away. We have some people who won't be around until later this week, but we will most definitely get into some of the plot before they get back.

Of course, i'll inform them of what they missed if they don't feel like reading as well as make sure to help each person who isn't around find a creative way to...

The evening was brisk, yet Jimmy Lumin didn't feel a thing. His feet planted firmly onto the ceiling which belonged to the tallest building within the metropolis he lived in, the young man stopped to watch as the city below him continued moving along. Extremely light hues peered down, loose clothing as well as that messy hair both blowing around violently with each new gust of wind. On his hip was a police scanner, with a custom-built aux port placed into the bottom so that he could use headphones to listen to each feed. The dispatcher didn't vomit at the mouth often, so it made for a nice experience usually.

It definitely helped him figure out what was going on in Manhattan, considering that it was such a large city for only one person to navigate without any help at all. Various lights from various establishments, billboards and ads illuminated the night sky. It was about 10:59 PM at this moment. Once the clock turned to eleven, Jimmy received a particularly juicey piece of information, some of which actually made him chuckle. The address was 33 Liberty Street. 10045. Otherwise known as the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.

How could these criminals be so absent-minded? This wasn't a regular bank, it was the big leagues. Whatever criminal it was that organized such a heist, obviously it wasn't his first time playing ball. That was fine, because Jimmy liked a bit of a challenge anyway. The fingers belonging to his left hand wrapped around the scanner, pulling it from his hip. His other hand would reach to grab it, before turning it sideways. On the front was a number pad, the volume knob was on the top and the screen was LED. Despite all of these cool features, nothing could compare to what Jimmy did to the small electronic device.

His thumbs pressed against a couple of numbers softly, and in succession: 442200. When he did, the police scanner opened up from the sides. As it did, an iron exoskeleton would begin enveloping his body. It started with his hands, moved up to the arms, spread down his legs and up his torso at the same time before finally covering his head in a helmet that was more reminiscent of a spacious hood. With that, he took a leap of faith off of the building, free-falling toward the ground. As he neared it, he turned on the jets which were located at the end of his boots and was off, flying through various alleyways and avoiding buildings before he arrived at his destination.

The first thing that Jimmy was able to witness, was a couple of men exiting through the front door. Really? The front door? That's the master plan? As he floated about twenty to thirty feet over the group of men, a hand raised to cup his forehead. Oh, the stupidity. They were lucky that no cops had made it to the scene before him. However, they were not lucky for the ass kicking that awaited every single man in the troop. Descending, while traveling after the running men, he would drop right before the one that lead the rest down the street. Right before hitting the getaway car, too. Good timing on Jimmy's part.

The first man ran into him, and despite being much bigger than him, was forced to fall right on his ass. The men behind him stopped, looking forward in horror as a wide smile grew on Jimmy's face.
"Hello, gentlemen. Going somewhere so soon?" His arms at his sides, large blades comprised of self-generated energy would be dispelled from his wrists. He made them more dense than burning, so that they striked more like batons rather than actual blades. He didn't want to kill anybody; just apprehend a couple of theives. Obviously, his reputation preceeded him.

Lifting his foot up, he smashed the heel of his foot into the face of the leader, who was all ready on the ground. He was knocked out instantly. The other men pulled up their guns, but it was all ready too late. Jimmy had pushed past the man he took out and was standing within the group of men. Had they began firing, there was more of a chance they murdered each other while taking him down. Common sense said they wouldn't shoot if he was in this position, so he continued his offensive onslaught once more. He sent one of his aura constructs into the cheek belonging to the face of a robber before him, sending him face-first into the brick wall beside him. As his face smashed against the brick, he fell unconscious. Another, from his side, tried to shove the butt of his gun into his head, but it hit that hooded helmet of his, breaking in half evenly.
"Cheap metal." Grabbing the man by the throat, as well as the arm, Jimmy would throw him over his shoulder and at the last thug. The smashed into one another, dropping the bags of money they withheld and ricocheting into the street. As they both slid forward, the slammed into a mailbox, actually denting it in the process.

"Batman?" Zhengliang asked tilting his head, who had been watching the entire time from when Jimmy entered with the lines, "Hello, gentlemen. Going somewhere so soon?". He had just left a diner blocks down, a drink still in his hand. He came to the scene when he spotted a man freefalling down a building, even though it was dark and the man was the size of the speck, Zhengliang saw clearly how he was wearing a power suit. Technology is quite amazing this age isn't it. He's not good with any of it though, it kind of hurts his head when he tries to use something meant for more technological savvy people. One man groaned and started to pick himself up next to Zhengliang, who gave him a deft quick kick that knocked him out cold, casually sipping on his drink as he observed Jimmy with steely eyes.

(oh did we started already? d'hjfh)

Jane shuffled through the back pocket of her high waisted short, pulling out a back of Marlboro cigarettes she took off of a drunkard trying to smooth his way towards her when she exited a nearby tavern. She hated Manhattan – too crowded and too many people riding their high horses all the time. She took out a silver engraved lighter from her front left pocket and lit up the cancer on a stick that was now held in place between her rose colored lips. She made a promise to her Uncle, more so her Aunt, that she'll find a way to better herself and make up for all the trouble she caused in her teenage years.

She inhaled the cigarette and sighed out the fumes. Guess that brought her to Manhattan.

Jane folded her arms across her chest, idly fiddling around with her bra and pushed it up as maintenance. All of this was much too boring but should she dare to admit that she missed fighting? The thrill of her fist connecting with someone face, shattering their knees with a kick and of course, being the victor since she could somehow take vast amount of damage and still do the Macarena afterwards.

She inhaled and sighed again.

From the corner of her eye, she noticed a man free falling from a building not too far from where she was and panicked. Was it a suicide attempt? Oh man. With the cigarette tucked between her lips, she ran over to the scene only to find herself among two other men and several others on the ground. She watched as Zhenglian kicked a man out cold and chuckled to herself mentally but spewed out a “What the hell?”

Zhenliang threw his hand up like he was the culprit. "Oh." It was just a girl, he didn't know why he bothered to do that in the first place.

"It was him." he pointed at Jimmy, trying to explain the situation. He slowly turned his head back to see if Jimmy was still there or if he flew off. Realizing that he still had his hands up, he placed them back down. This was pretty cool, he always wanted to meet Batman, and it made him a tad nervous. Especially with the girl's sudden outburst, he didn't know how else he should had reacted.

The Manhattan streets were lit up bright by the lamps that hung over, beckoning you to vast in their glow. In the light he recollected his thoughts, the plane ride was first. The flight was terrible, but from the way Hunter's face looked you could've thought it was the best experience in his life. Next he had to go to baggage, but only to retrieve one bag, and with his money from the farm this bag shrunk, fitting in his pocket. He was given a tour of the city, and left to his own pleasures, the first of which was a walk of Manhattan. Manhattan was interesting, but home sickness was already setting in, and the only thing to think about home was his leather jacket coated with bear fur, and his memories. But, this was where he was told to be, and by the looks of what was unfolding he didn't doubt it.

A man, with what looked like glow sticks for weapons, attacked armed robbers in front of a bank. The armed robbers fired, shattering windows across the street, but the crusader wasn't even touched. Hunter watched in an awe stricken joy, this was absolutely amazing. He ran over to a group that was now forming around the man. A woman with an agitated look on her face was questioning the scene, while a fierce looking man was asking for autographs. He faced the hero flabbergasted.

"I seemed to have gotten that nickname." He spoke, after watching the man knock that one guy out. His eyes turned from the young man, over to the woman. As he did, the beams that extended from his forearms died down. Jimmy always felt that his suit had some sort of weird power to it, like the fact that he was able to use it's energy to his will. Little did he know, little did he know. Pointing to the bags on the ground, police sirens would begin to grow louder and louder. "Not the best people in the world. Let's get out of here before things get messy." Grasping the two, he asked the man who helped him knock out one of the thugs to grasp the third man who made his way into their circle, before he would propel all three into the air, to the top of the Federal Reserve. There wasn't going to be helicopters, because once the police got there, they would see their suspects strewn out across the floor, in a heap of their own mess.

The hood of his outfit was hiding most of his face. It couldn't be moved, for obvious reasons, so it really withheld it's purpose. He wasn't so sure he wanted to reveal it, despite the fact that he did not know the two who were before him. Seconds later, police swarmed the ground below the three.
"Just like clockwork." Turning a small knob, the volume one that was located on his wrist, he turned the police scanner lower before parting his lips to speak. "My name is Primo." His alter-ego, obviously. Despite the fact that he initially hated people in general, he felt bad about having to subject two regular people to the slop that would have been an investigation. This was better for all parties involved.

"Woah.. cool." Zhengliang said looking down the building. He glanced back at Jimmy who introduced himself as Primo. How exciting was this , and he thought all he was going to do tonight was feed his ungrateful cat and go to sleep. "Oh a superhero alias...cooooool." He said with wide child-like eyes. He coughed to maintain his composure,"Erm." Zhenliang turned his head at the woman to see how she's handling this situation, surely she must take all this more harder than he is. He ruffled his jacket since it was quite chilly up so late, zipping it up all the way.

Jane looked at the male who put up his hands in alert and gave him a strange look while averting her gaze to Jimmy as Zhenliang pointed. She switched her glances between the two and straightened up, smoothing out her shorts and crop top. She inhaled the cigarette once again and exhaled. As she opened her mouth to say something but found herself in grasp of Jimmy and propelled into the air, causing her to gasp loudly; her cigarette falling out of her mouth in the process.

She closed her eyes momentarily and opened them to find herself on top of the building. Jane looked around, exchanging looks at the three men and crawled on her knees to the edge of the Federal Reserve to look below, noticing the police vehicles and men. She gulped – her relationships with heights wasn't the best. Moving back, she looked at Jimmy, whom now introduced himself as Primo and arched an eyebrow. “What the hell was all of that?” she asked. She wasn't going to let them know her name because for one, she was dazed in confused and two, she didn't know them enough to introduce herself.

Ontario, Canada

A small figure stood along the alley edge, neon lights and passing streams of cars created elegant shadows along her black hoodie and short indigo skirt. Wearing fish net tights and tough fake leather boots, she released a cargo bag of canned paints. Stroking open the carriage with little effort, she let her hand feel along each can, colors splashed along their edges. She was far from innocent looking, her eyes printed with black eye liner, and her taunt in a loose french braid. She preferred to keep her hair away from the spray propellant.

She had twenty five minutes till the next patrol, so she had to make quick work. Pushing back her long braid, she made quick work of the concrete wall, it was of a bird flying along in beautiful colors. Free from the hate of the world, oblivious to those around it.

"Free," she whispered softly, her lips lined with red lipstick. Stroking her head along the concrete, she felt her eyes water. She began to the rudely push her paints back into her bag, her pale arms skinny. Money was tight and meals were not a regular. But it was better than living with a family who thought your were crazy.

I've opened all slots for various newcomers. I'm going to ignore the count of the powers, because chances are that there will be some people who join that don't bother to ever post.
When I feel we have enough members who are active, i'll close sign-up once more.

Still starting the plot on Saturday, as planned. Probably Saturday evening.

Thank you, for all whom are paying attention!

"You know, this area is not exactly the safest place." Jimmy spoke softly, a small hint of a Spanish accent making his ethnicity a bit more clear. "A couple of guys were trying to rob the bank." He nodded down to the litter of men on the floor, whose unconscious bodies were being hauled off into police cars. "There is no difference. Between those who protect us and those who take from us." The young man went on, crossing his arms as he looked between the three. The police officers below had been muttering about someone getting 'all the glory' for doing their job.

Jimmy turned his back to the three people he removed from the situation along with himself.
"Robbers like that, they break into federal banks and take money. Police officers are paid by what we are taxed only to be inefficient." Light eyes, hidden behind that hood of his, closed as he shook his head. He even brought one of his hands up to his forehead and rubbed it, moving the top of his hood out of the way in the process. The police cars had their sirens turned off as they all continued down the street after finishing their business. "The reason I do what I do is because of their slow pace."

Elsewhere away from the burglary, another kind of trouble was happening as two men were chasing after a young blonde girl. The two men were at least a head taller than the girl and both were wearing casual clothing that most people would wear in this time era but no one would ever expect to see such normal looking guys to be chasing a girl in the streets out of nowhere but they were as the blonde ran through the crowd, pushing her way through. All she was wearing was a grey hoodie that said "Free" in bold white letters along with some black jeans. Her grey converse were dirtied and worn but still seemed to be in good shape for her to be able to run from the guys but with her bright color hair, she could be spotted out in seconds, pulling her hood over her head to hide herself.

Pushing peoples out of her way, she ran into an alleyway in hopes that they had not seen her but it seemed they had good eyes, glancing behind her to see them shortly running out of the crowded streets after her. She cussed under her breath and tried slowing the down pushing down boxes and trash cans that she would pass by but no matter what they were always at her tail,"They sure did get some good guys but... I'm not going without a fight." Umi or for the time being, Shima Rei, thought turning a corner. The alleyway was dark but with the dim lighting of the city, she was able to see a few things, up ahead, a barred fence stood in her way. The fence a few inches taller than her but Shima was athletic enough to jump her way over it. Picking up her pace, she ran up to the fence and crouching down, she used all her strength and leaped into the air, taking hold on the wires and flew over the fence before landing on the other side and dashing off back into the streets.

It seemed that she did pretty well because the guys finally lost track of her, the two men having a hard time climbing over the fence and losing sight of her. Once she had seen that they were no longer in sight, Shima sighed in relief and tried to blend in the sea of heads, keeping her calm composure in check and her head low so no one would see her face. Many peope must be questioning why she was even running in the first place adding on why those two guys were after her. Maybe she was a criminal or the guys were hitting on her, maybe they were just horseplaying but from the looks of it, it wasn't much fun in it. In truth, Shima Rei was just her fake name and that she was a daughter of a well-known priest in Japan but she had ran away from an important marriage that she was arranged to have so she could take over her family's generation.

Her real name was Umi Hoshino, the daughter of the High Priest and future wife of Ryouta Kazaya, a very wealth young man who fell in love at first sight of Umi when he saw her beauty in person. Umi had only met him once in her life and it all started from his parent's who asked for this marriage along with him agreeing to this decision. As a girl, she had no say in it but to obey and go along with it but she had no interest in the man nor did she even knew him well enough to say she would marry the guy. Marrying a man she had never had any type of relation with was something Umi could not do and with that she made her plan to escape from it. Changing her name and looks, she ran off to live with her aunt in England to hide herself but danger lurked everywhere for her as her family sent out many guards and spies to chase her down and bring her back with force.

Umi had escaped many times from them but every day seemed to be more skillful chasers after her, their strength and their way of getting her into dangerous situations where she almost put so many people to death along with her aunt. The trouble was too much for Umi to risk putting her aunt and other into more trouble as she ran off further into America, moving into a place in New York where she cooped herself away from the world. Umi had vowed to herself to keep her distant, not letting those close to her or else. She couldn't risk letting others get hurt because of her and with this in mind, she made herself a wall and isolated herself using sweet words coated in venom of lies so that she could protect others while protecting herself.

Now here she was, still running to this day hoping one day her family would give up but no matter where she run and hide to, her family was one step closer to taking her back home. The thought of going back was something Umi would never allow to happen, vowing to keep on running to find that freedom she longed to grasp but it was always out of reach. She could never seem to find that place of peace where she could rest without using lies, hurting others, running, pain, and depression. Somewhere far where she could be alone and just sleep forever with the sounds of tranquility consumes her but then again,"What is freedom?" She thought, walking through the crowd with that question in mind.

"Is there even such a thing as freedom for the like of me?..."

-Goodies!~ I did it! :D -

Simultaneously, six active members belonging to the magi, whether they were aware of it or not, would undergo a rather strange and offputting experience. Instantaneously, the current sights of what each one were experiencing would change. Jimmy, Zhengliang, Jane and Hunter would all stop seeing their current view of Manhattan from the Federal Reserve's rooftop, and fade to white. Umi's view of that rather dense crowd would fade to white. Mia's vision? Faded to white. Every magi who existed on the face of the planet would experience their vision fading to white.

A voice, deep and booming, spoke before a vision of three silhouettes appeared.

"Long ago. The three kings ruled a nation of people known as the Magi. A spiritual people who lived off of the land, the Magi existed in a plane that was shared with Earth, known as the Spirit Plane."

The silhouette grew, crowns and robes adorned the figures. Horses materialized under the kings, as silhouettes as well. The three began spinning in a circle.

"The Magi were given a specific set of skills, for a price. In return for the Spirit of the Planet Earth giving special powers to their people, they were to spend the rest of their lives attempting to convince people that it's spirit was in fact real. To spread the word that the Earth was a living and breathing entity, who wanted it's inhabitants to live clean lives. They were not successful in their attempts, however they tried nonetheless. Over time, the civilation of the Magi thinned. Originally meant to be immortal, some died in the wars ensuing in the years afterwards, others went missing before the world fell under the rule of one man. However, there are still a small amount who went on to reproduce... And that is how you are seeing this. You all have Magi blood. And it is time for you to do your planet a service."

With that, every Magi who happened to live on the planet would all be teleported. When they reappeared, it was in an all-tan room.

Hunter was on the roof, barely listening to spanish vigilante, when his eyes filled with white. At first it seemed just like thick wall of snow in front of you, but it got thicker, showing images. A booming voice echoed in Hunter's head, piercing him with words that seemed to come from his own brain. The silhouettes of three different people rose, obviously important, but to Hunter in that moment he could care less. Things were rising as the voice boomed, a kingdom rose from thin air, and people fluttered the streets of the vision. Hunter watched and pieced it all together as the man submersed himself in his ears. It was almost like a movie, with kings and queens, a forgotten kingdom, and powers to save the ones who were lost. It was all going so fast, his past erupting in front of him, his powers were given a birthplace. He was given ancestors, those who were protecting the earth for the better, but of course died trying. Then directions, very broad directions. What service could I possibly give?

That thought ended quite quickly, for he was standing in a tan room. He had just been given a near religious experience, yet in the end it was a just a room. Hunter sighed and sat down on the floor, not caring about who else was in the room. It was a mistake to come to America, especially if this happens every other day. He closed his eyes and awaited another vision, which was likely to come.

Jake thought his life was so boring. He was just sitting in his apartment reading a book about architecture. Right now he was a personal assistant living in a cheep apartment. He wasn't even sure how much longer the building would be standing. All of a sudden his vision started to become cloudy. Everything was pure white until 3 silhouettes appeared with a booming voice. It started to explain the Magi and even said he had Magi blood. His vision cleared and he was staring at the corner of a tan room. He wondered what was slipped into his drink and who else was seeing the message. He turned to see more people in the room and realized the answers to no questions. His life was no longer boring.

Zhengliang was about to open his mouth when something went terribly wrong with his vision. He was bewildered by the sudden lost of vision, rubbing his eyes with his right hand as he tries to adjust back to normal. It was only when silhouettes appeared painted on the white canvas, that he knew that this was from an outside source. His eyes sharpened when voice spoke of "magis", carefully listening to the told story.

When his vision returned, he was quite surprised by the new location. Teleportation shouldn't had been possible, even for Magis from what he had seen. He couldn't seem to reason how this all just happened, so he stopped bothering not long after. Zhengliang began to glance at all the other confused 'fish' in the room as he waits for something to happen. This is so a pain, I didn't get to feed Mr.Snugglekins yet.

Jane looked at the Spanish 'batman' and just nodded her head like she understood what he was talking about. Obviously, those men who were knocked out on the ground below them were robbers and she did agree with his whole "cops are inefficient" point of view, she just didn't see why he had to play the mysterious, "hero of the city" act. Let the men down there play cops and robbers all they want cause no matter how hard or try, events like what was always bound to happen.

Wait. Guess she did understand why Primo was doing as he was. But still - the mysterious, brooding act had got to go.

She was about to make her remark before her vision started to become white, starting from the corners then inward to the centre. If she wasn't freaking out already, man - she was freaking out now. Three silhouettes appeared before her and spoke to her like she was apart of Lord of the Rings, telling a tale of kings, magi and the spirit plane. Spirit plane? Was this the Avatar? Or was that the Spirit World? Same thing, wasn't it?

Being paralyzed in confusion and whatever the hell was going on with her at the moment, Jane just tried to take everything in that was told to her and did her best to understand. She had Magi blood, that was for certain, and it explained why she always got out of fights without a scratch. But was she up for the task? She sure hoped so. If it meant trying to be someone whom her parents would be proud of and to ease the disappointment of her Aunt and Uncle, then she would
gladly give whatever service she could give.

Just then the vision ended like a blur and Jane found herself standing in a tan-room. She blinked twice, bringing up a hand to her head and scratched it. "Magi, huh?" the whisper left her lips. Peering around the room, she spotted the three men who were with her earlier. With a raised eyebrow, she asked, "Hold on a second. You guys are here too?"

"Well maybe if you weren't home alone my mom would let me come over."

"You're acting like I can help that both my mom and dad are working."

"I'm sorry."

The line clicked on the other side and Avery slammed the phone down on the counter, "Fine! I don't need company anyway, I can do just want I want and when I want it. She grunted and made her way to her bedroom, a medium sized room decorated in green and white accents and objects. Mostly paintings that she'd made filled the walls. They were of birds, storms, and flowers. She turned a speaker on and ran music through it, loud mellow music with no lyrics. She laid down and put her hands over her face, mumbling vulgar words to herself. "Ugh!" she screamed.

She'd only laid there for ten minutes before she changed into a light pastel pink short robe with penguin slippers, pulled her honey brown hair into a pony tail tied by a white ribbon and removed all make up she had on. A cat meowed and clawed at her bedroom door, "I'm coming Felix." She walked back to the kitchen and opened the door out to the backyard. Avery lived in a nice suburban with large fences tracing every back yard and large lawns in the front, filled with flowers by the door and along the edges and sprinklers watering the almost fake grass. She followed the cat out and closed the door behind her, "Fucking Ohio." She mumbled. "What good, ever comes from Ohio?" She grunted again and shoved her right index finger in her mouth, gnawing at the nail. She walked to the middle of the yard and laid down in the grass, staring up at the sky trying to find what stars she could with the lit up homes around her. The sounds of night included the annoying dog next door and the other neighbors yelling about the newborn they just had, along with the normal crickets and frogs and trees blowing in the wind, the sounds of cats fighting also could fill an ear full, "Be careful, Felix. Ya dumb puss puss." She sighed and switched the index finger with her thumb.

The next ten minutes ended with her sitting up and rationalizing going back inside, she listened to her father come home and yell her name out a few times, followed by profanities. She sat there for a few minutes finally realizing she had completely chewed the nail till it was bleeding. "Oww, ow, owwww." She was whispering to herself.

Then it happened. The 'vision' she was going to call it, of something she would only read in a book or see on a fantasy movie. She probably wouldn't be surprised if she woke up half dead in the hospital somewhere. Dreaming about shit like this, instead she found herself in a room full of people, in her pink robe and penguin slippers with her hair pulled back and make-up off. She sighed, scanning the area.

"The hell are we suppose to do, make a circus?"

"I'll see you tomorrow, sleep well!" Bella said to her collegue as she locked up the bar they both worked in. She brushed her hair over her shoulder and stuck her key in her pocket. "You too, Bella. Be careful." her blonde collegue responded before walking off in her black stillettes with a short wave at Bella. Bella turned and walked in the opposite direction, pulling her coat closer around her. It felt like she had lived here an eternity. She finally had a job, a cheap appartment and a few friends she could hang out with. Why did it feel like something was missing? Like she was meant to do something else than be a bartender at a crowded bar, serving drinks.

Suddenly her vision turned white. As if she was walking in a thick fog. She stumbled forward, and found a lamp post to support herself with. She rubbed her eyes frantically to get her vision back. Three silhouettes appeared, and was later known as three kings. She listened intently, and had forgotten momentarily her fear of going blind. She was a magi? That would actually explain a whole lot. You all have magi blood? All who? Her vision suddenly came back and she was standing in an all-tan room, with a group of people. She blinked confused a couple of times before her vision was clear again, and looked about the room. "Where am I?" she mumbled, her eyes switching from person to person. Her sight stopped at Avery. Wow. Bad timing for a teleport, she thought to herself, but quickly moved her eyes onto the other people in the room. "Did you all just get that vision or whatever?" she asked intrigued.

Shima has only just been able to run from the two spies sent from her family and had only just about to enter a little sweet shop to sooth herself when all of a sudden everything started to glow. Shima wasn't sure what was going on and before she could do anything, everything turned blank white, shielding her eyes and reaching out to anyone for help but she couldn't, the light too bright to even see anything. Blinking a few, Shima tried to see what was happening when she saw something in the distant. Squinting her eyes, she saw three figures all lined up side by side in the bright light. They were much bigger than her and stood towering over her height, Shima, no, Umi stared up in shock and then they spoke.

Magi's Story

"Long ago. The three kings ruled a nation of people known as the Magi. A spiritual people who lived off of the land, the Magi existed in a plane that was shared with Earth, known as the Spirit Plane."

After their strange short story, Umi became dumbfounded by what the three were even saying,"Magi? Spirit Plane? Wait... AM I BE POSSESSED?!" Umi thought after hearing the word "spirits" so many times, it was for sure that she was being possessed as the three figures became more clearer and were actually three men dressed as if they were kings. Below them were horses, fine and prideful, their strong built showing how powerful these horses were as they rode in circles around Umi while continuing to tell their tale while poor Umi cowered lost and confused what was happening.

Magi's Story

And it is time for you to do your planet a service.'

"Magi blood? I'm... a... m-magi? Wait...""Wait! I-i don't understand! What do you mean I'm a magi?" Umi called out but before she could even get an answer, everything was vanishing and the three men return to their shadowy figures but nonetheless, Umi tried to called out to them again,"WAIT!" And with that everything disappeared and Umi was left alone in the bright light and teleported to somewhere unknown, her vision cleared and all she saw was some room with tanned colored wall,"W-what?" Umi managed to say through her trembling lips as her emotions were everywhere most being anxious, scared, dumbfounded, and all around being thrown in more confusion of what to do. Looking around her, Umi saw that she wasn't alone as there were other people with her in this strange room, all of them showing the same confusion she was having. Though Umi wanted to speak, she couldn't, her voice was stuck in her throat and wouldn't come out, her mind running in circles on whether she should speak or keep silent and wait for an answer, taking her second option and sitting there quietly.

-Note: Umi is still dressed as Shima so don't be confused that I'm throwing names around ^^-

Remember, Umi is Pink and Shima is Green. Right now I'm just doing it in Umi's point of view since Shima is not needed at the moment but now I'll being using Shima to "speak" and Umi for the "thoughts".

In celebration for her first week on her first job on a new city, Utelia decided to sleep the whole day off and ended waking up by the evening thanks to the police sirens from outside. She lazily turned on the her laptop to check on what is happening as she plans on her dinner. She hummed to herself as she excitedly opened her small fridge to only see a huge slice of pizza doubtfully sitting there since days ago. Shrugging her shoulders, Utelia tossed it in the microwave to heat it up and went back in front of her laptop as a breaking news on her twitter feed came out about an attempted bank robbery downtown and some witness reports about a batman-like vigilante.

Beating the timer off the microwave she set herself comfortably to read more online about what just happened while munching on her fancy dinner. Being a fan of superheroes, trending stories like these peaks her excitement as she rummage the internet. "Pictures!" She exclaimed as crime scene photos were posted too bad most pictures are blurred.

Craving for more info she stood up with determination in her eyes.
"I'm so going to downtown." She muttered to herself as she put on warmer clothings and hand combing her hair. Swiftly she put on her sling bag with her precious book and phone as she ran outside.

Covering already a few blocks away from her apartment she felt something boiling in her stomach. A vision of her dinner came in and knew what will happen soon.
"Not now." She told herself as beads of sweat forming on her forehead. She decided to rush back home when she stopped on her tracks.

Whiteness.

It's all she can see immediately. She swore at that moment to be a more responsible person if she survived this as she thought it was a near death experience. Is this what those who were abducted by aliens felt like? She wandered deep in her thoughts until there were 3 figures from silhouettes appeared in all the whiteness with their voices booming. And their voices enveloped her clearing all her thoughts and having all her focus in what they are saying. Until she realized they aren't just talking to her but to some other people also. Hearing her own thoughts again, before Utelia could start her annoying series of questions she found herself on an all-tan room filled with people she have never seen before and almost did an embarrassing jaw drop after seeing all of them one by one. "Holy cow batman" She softly gasped to herself.

"It seems so Marlboro fish, our fate must had been destined to intertwine anyway." Zhengliang shrugged, confirming that the vigilante was indeed one of the few surviving descendant of the Magi bloodline and then taking a final sup of coffee. At least they were courteous enough to let him keep his drink. His eyes wandered, going to see what exactly was left of the Magi bloodline. He couldn't say he was all impressed, but he learned better not to judge a book by its cover. By that he meant do not judge a dying man of 80 to be any pushover pansy. Zhengliang drew back slightly after remembering a sparring session.

He reopened his eyes, honestly concerned less now with the people in the room. The only thing that mattered was what was going to happen next, if they took the liberty to teleport them all like this, and even 'that' couldn't make Zhengliang care more. He just wanted to get a chance to fight from all this, otherwise it was a waste of his time. "Don't you find this all exciting?" His tone said otherwise, the vision and teleporting was pretty rad but it paled in comparison to watching the robbers get their ass handed to them by the gray fish.

Zhengliang remained quiet for the remainder of the time, simply biding his time with some standing meditation. Serene mind and body, he breathed slowly. This was the only way to keep himself occupied, not being exactly the sort of person patient enough to just stand still, doing nothing in a situation like this.

Mia whom walked with her bag of cans strung over her back, let her black hair whip in the cool winter wind. The sun had set hours ago, and the cool air began to circle within the city. She would hail a cab to her apartment in the west side of the city, but she would rather eat and pay rent then get a quick ride. Braving the weather, she crossed the dusted street, few cars clammed the road ways in this part of town, but enough were about to put out a wary eye.

Coming to the last few blocks, she noticed a patrol car, that seem to follow her turns. She would have complained about the unneeded attention, but considering her attire of a black hoodie adorn with a even more suspicious cargo bag, it figured it took this long. Pulling up beside her, the cop gave a scan before calling out.

"Excuse me, Sir," the patrol officer pushed open his salt stained door and stepped out, preventing her continued passage. "May I ask what you are doing out at this hour?" With crime at an all time low, and wealth so grand, seeing a scrap like her out was rare, and the cop was taking advantage of the "action".

"I am just heading home," Mia said calmly, her voice stern. The cop gave a slight relax hearing the figure was female. He gave a frown before looking to the bag.

"May I ask the contents?" He asked, his hand staying along his belt. Mia felt her hands sweat, her attire with a bag of spray paint, she could lose her entire collection to the suspicious man. With a quick descion, lacking thought of the outcome, Mia bolted for it. her speed picking up as she skidded around the corner. Hearing boots behind her, she knew he could outpace her. Cutting into the alley way, she spotted the many bins lined along the barbed fence.

"No.." she thought to herself, even with the boost, she would;t make it over in one piece with the barbs. Hearing the yell of the husky cop not far, she scrabbled to think. But before her eyes could even comprehend the unlocked door to the shop beside, her vision became a blinding white. Falling to her knees the visions swarmed her head, understanding soon to follow. In the moment she felt a warmth of hope and belonging. As the vision came to its end, she felt the strong hands of a police officer over her shoulders, before the cold winter night had vanished, and she now lay crouched within the tan room.
