Tucker
Tucker couldn't help but laugh at first. It was just the most perfect comedic moment. As he buckled over in laughter, he realized he hadn't laugh that hard in a long while. A really long while! God knew he needed it. Recovering after a few moments, the young man had to catch his breath his breath.
Then all hell broke loose.
Andrew got aggressive in his reaction to Cricket crashing into him. Uncomfortably so. "What the actual fuck?" Tucker barked in reaction.
Tucker moved toward the two, but by the time he got there, the scene had ended. Andrew had every right to feel startled, but he went too fucking far! You didn't get into a person's face like that, especially not a girl's face. "It was a fucking accident!" Tucker shouted.
Following Andrew, Tucker cut him off, towering slightly over the boy. Tucker was bigger than Andrew, and stronger too. Though perhaps surprisingly to some, Tucker didn't swing at him. He decided to extend an olive branch.
"Seriously, it was an accident." Tucker managed to reign in his tone and actually sounded understanding. "We're all on the same team, man." Tucker wasn't sure if his words would connect. You miss every shot you don't take, though. Leaning back slightly, Tucker lowered his guard. "Look, you can't have this 'fuck the world' attitude when you need the fucking world to survive now. You can't be a loner anymore. You need people! Nobody is saying you have to like us, but you need us. No one can be an island anymore, dude."
Tucker then looked at Cricket. "Maybe you should just say I'm sorry, Andrew. You overreacted. Then we can put this shit to bed."
Maia let a long sigh, looking disappointed. Jemma just had her arms crossed, watching the situation unfold.
