Fandom The Walking Dead: Dead Among Us

After about ten minutes of walking Hannah made it to the houses. She went into the first one, which was pretty easy due to the fact the front door was unlocked. There wasn't much to find in the living room besides a broken T.V., a dead body, and some child's toys. Hannah walked past and headed straight for the kitchen. There was a few canned goods in there and some sodas. Even though soda isn't really useful in current times she took it anyway. She might as well enjoy it when she can.

Looking around one more time, she left and went into a bedroom in case there were any guns possibly left over. Not too soon after she could hear something. "The hell?" Hannah said aloud trying to figure out the sound. Soon enough it got louder and she could tell it was the sound of growling. A dog, wolf? She thought to herself seeing as how it didn't sound anything a human... or undead human. Someone was walking along with it, for sure a human's footsteps. Was this a setup and now I'm trapped, going to die? Well she sure wasn't going down without a fight. Getting out her other knife from her backpack, Hannah stood in a corner away from the door, that way she wasn't stuck behind it when they opened it and because it still hid her from vision when they first enter. Taking up a stance she got ready in case they did actually come in. That probably had to go unsaid, the animal would find her easily. She hoped there might be a chance for talking instead of the person attacking right away, it might be her only hope of surviving. A possible dog and human together would easily take her down together.

Blake knew something was in the house and being the retard he was he yelled out "Hello". He knew his dog could take out any animal. Expect for a big animal such as a bear....but he doubted, but if it was an unarmed human still an easy kill.

Hannah heard a voice come out, definitely a male's voice, and say "Hello?" Damn, the duo could easily me down. She didn't figure there were many options and did something she knew she shouldn't be doing. She answered the call. "Who's there?" Answered a voice that was obviously fake. She tried to make herself sound more fierce but it didn't really work. In fact, she was kind of scared having never had to deal with other humans outside of her old group. Just to give her a little sense of security she locked the bedroom door. Obviously that wouldn't matter if the man wanted to come inside and get her, but it was the thought that helped.

As the dog heard the girls voice it broke off into a sprint, The chain in Blake's hand slipped out releasing the dog. He chased after the dog. "Molly get back her" he yelled at the dog. The dog reached the door jumping and scratching at it and trying to bust it open. He caught up with dog and grabbed the chain... " so she's in here?" He said to the dog. " he spoke through the door this time "I'm not going to hurt you!" He tried the door but noticed it was locked.

"Yeah, and how can I trust you? This isn't exactly a good situation for me to be in." Hannah said a little loud, almost getting close to yelling mainly from the small adrenaline burst she just got thinking the dog was about to burst in. She wondered if she should open it, she didn't really have any other way out. The windows were boarded and by the time she got them off he could have easily made his way into the room and gotten to her and the vents were way too small plus she had no way to get up to them. This guy did pull his dog off the door, so maybe he's O.K. "...Or how can I trust your dog?" She added.

((Be right back for a little bit, I'm going to be cooking some food. It shouldn't take too long.))

" We'll.... She's nice if you feed her...food equals love for her so yeah... And I wouldn't kill a fly.." He sat Down on floor griping the chain so hard his fingers burned. "She won't even be able to jump at you.... shes stuck." He stroked the top of his dog's head and yawned....

"Fine, I'm coming out... But I won't be afraid to attack either one of you if need be." Before unlocking the door and opening it Hannah brought out a can and popped it open with her knife. Damn, I wanted pears... Then she opened the door and held the can full of chopped pears in one hand and her machete in the other, though she wield it non-aggressively. "Are pears fine?" She asked to make sure before giving it to the dog.

"Sure" he gave the girl a cheeky grin. He stood up releasing the chain as he did. The dog walk towards the girl, panting at the smell of the food.

The dog sat there waiting for the food. "My names Blake and that's Molly." He gestured to the dog. He extended his hand. "What's your name?"

Hannah completely tore off the lid and quickly checked to make sure there was nothing sharp to hurt the dog before setting it on the floor and letting the dog, now known as Molly, go at it. "Hannah." She said shaking Blake's hand. "Cute dog, pit bull if I'm not mistaken?"

"Yep, she's a pit bull" He looked at the machete in Hannah's other hand. "Do you know how to use that thing?"

He pulled the backpack off his shoulder, opened up the pack. " Want some chips?" He reached for a bag and opened it and grabbed some.

"Yeah, I've had 'practice', if you get my meaning. Plus since it's a smaller machete it's easier to use for me since I'm not exactly the most muscular person you've seen. I've also got another knife with a compass and sawback on it and a built in compartment in the hilt, but I just use that for utility and not really fighting in most cases." Hannah paused for a second deciding if she wanted to take any chips or not. "Meh, sure. A few won't hurt, I s'pose. Thank you." She said as she reached into the bag and took out three chips. "Are you all alone, if you don't mind me asking?"

"Yep, left my Parents for the dead" He grabbed a chip and ate it. "So you heading any were particular?" He ask Hannah as he reached into his right pocket. He grabbed the box of cancer sticks and his lighter. He grabbed one of the cigs, light it and placed it in his mouth, and proceeded to smoke.
(I'm watching YouTube that's whys I'm slow...)

"Ah... and yes. I'm heading towards Atlanta. Last time I heard people were being told to go there by the government and it would be a safe haven against those things. That was a while ago, though. I have no idea if they're still broadcasting that message or not. I left the radio with my old group and haven't found any since." Hannah replied while watching Blake smoke. That smell was actually good but she wasn't sure why. She normally didn't like the smell of smoke. "Well, I guess if you plan on sticking together we should probably set up a camp here if you don't mind the location, unless you want to go somewhere else?" She suggested.

((That's fine.))

He pulled the cig out if his mouth and exhale the smoke out of his lungs." I'm not heading any where really" he replied to the girl. " And you trust the government...you know there probably killing those people that went there....I don't trust those people." He cocked his head and put his cig in his mouth. The dog was sleeping now.

"It's not necessarily a trust, it's more just to see if I won't have to constantly stay alert, at least for a little. I planned on only staying long enough to take a few supplies and leave, but I'm not sure if they would even let me. And the more I think about it, how would they protect us? I mean the size of Atlanta is pretty big. There'd be no way to protect us from those creatures with all the ways into the city on top of trying to get people in calmly with zombies trailing them. Maybe it's not good to go no matter their intentions." She explained to him and then began to doubt whether or not she really wanted to go there now.

He laughed at her response."Yep the government won't help...". He stood up. "So did you look around the home?" He asked. He taped his hand on the ground wondering about this girls old group and why she left them but didn't fell right asking her.

"A little bit. The living room had nothing, the kitchen had a few cans of food and soda, and I didn't really get to look in the bedroom for any weapons since you came along almost right after I went in. No idea about the garage. Do you need any food?" She asked him since she had more than enough now.

"Nope, I got a week worth of canned beans....." He said in a hushed tone.

He began to walk past Hannah to enter the room. To look for things of use. " So all you only have knives to fight with?....If I was a real threat you would have died...." He began to look through the closet. Looking for certain items such as a larger bag or some shoes or a weapon.

"Oh really now?" Hannah said at his last few words. "Anyway, yeah. Honestly I never really learned to use a gun, though it wouldn't be that hard to use if I was close enough. I prefer silent weapons too. I noticed sound draws them to you and guns are pretty damned loud. On top of constantly having to worry about having ammo and what not. The only problem is the lack of range between me and them so it's easier to get bit but that's easy to go around if you know how." Her stomach rumbled a little and she decided to crack open another can of food. "Oh my god... more pears!" She exclaimed in delight. Having the past few cans of food be beans were beginning to annoy her. "I'll go check out the garage." She told Blake and she headed toward it. Luckily the door had a latch to stop it from closing and she propped it down. There were a few shovels and the sort which could be used as weapons if they needed them so she put them into a pile along with anything else of use so they could decide if they wanted to use them or not.

Blake found nothing in the closet except for some hiking shoes which he traded for his tennis shoes knowing these would be much better for mobility. He walked to the garage.

"Didn't find anything, did you?" He yelled for Molly and the dog came rushing to his side.

"Just these shovels, hammers, etc." Hannah pointed at the pile. "I don't know if you really want to use any of these as weapons but I put them there just in case." She thought about taking a shovel so she could have at least one weapon to hit from afar but decided not to just due to how use to being right up front she had gotten.

"So you want use tools as weapons" He laughed at the idea. "How about we use tools as tools" He reached for a hammer and slipped it into his pack. "So I have a question about your other group". He waited for her to respond while he noticed something through the window on the garage...there was a motercycle he stared at it with interest.

"Heh, a shovel is quite useful for smashing things and the tip is good at piercing, but whatever. What's your question?" Hannah responded and wondered what Blake was starting at.
