there is an entire island dedicated to commerce on the 5th island. the islands are shown on the first post.

ok. we wander towards the island, hop on a bridge past the fourth island, and hop on a bridge to the fifth island.

Kusho tries to look around for gem vendors, but they are rare, as gems don't usually show up in the void.

he sees 2, and needs help deciding. one looks kind of shady, but could get a lot of money, and the other is trustworthy, but at a lesser price.

Elina follows after them. Looking at Kusho she can see the delema in his glowing eyes. “I say we check both vendors and then vompare the price. Sound good?”

"for the first shop, we'd get 50 vp (void pieces) and at the second we'd get 35 vp. I just don't trust the first guy. he looks shady. I mean he's literally looking around whistling, and if you've ever seen a movie, that's an immediate no-no."

“I can kill em if he tries to pull something. He looks good for a filé.” Elina starts walking towards the guy. “Hello sir, are you buying?” She holds the gem in sight but out of reach.

he seems very interested, and says almost immediately, "60 vp, take it or leave it." roll perception

The man, with his absolutely massive chin, says, "Ma'am, the original price was 50. a normal rise would make it 55, but this caught my attention, so i made it 60. deal or no deal." roll wisdom and insight.

because you got a low insight, you can't tell if he's telling the truth or not, but because of the INSANELY great wisdom, (nice job!) you realize you thought he was shady because of his appearance, and not any concrete evidence. you were stereotyping and generalizing, but you are better than 90% of people because you realized your mistake. you also do nothing to intimidate him.

Elina trusts her gut. She was always taught to trust it, and this man rubs her the wrong way. Even if it might just be sterio types. “Well maby I should keep it after all then,” she holds it up to her face and smiles. “It’s very pretty. I’m not willing to give it up for a measely 60.”
