aisha dianne, known more commonly by the black witch and to juliana as lady dianne or big sister, is an archmage who holds a unique connection with the moon's spirits that allows her to wield lunar magic. she was an aide of the deceased princess alesta i and played a crucial role in the reclamation of dianthus in the wake of calamity's step, though her contribution has long since been obscured by the passage of time. she is currently a wanted fugitive for having "committed mass atrocities", though any attempts to capture her have been nagging more than any sort of frightening.

aisha meets juliana as she is passing through dianthus and is immediately taken with her, becoming her strongest backer in the recognition of her royal heritage. as princess, juliana clears aisha's name by helping her to find the true culprit. alesta ii and aisha have a terrible relationship, with aisha finding the other's cunning and repeated attempts to sabotage her new sister despicable. aisha thwarts several of alesta's attempts and was present at her death at the hands of cedric.
