I made a timeline:

Centuries ago: An Ancestor of Sir Aaron summons Rayquaza to end the feud between Primal Kyogre and Primal Groudon. The two Legendary Pokemon's power is absorbed into the blue and red orbs respectively. Both Pokemon are sealed beneath the sea.

A Little Over 3000 Years ago: A great war breaks out between Kalos and Galar. Sir Aaron sets out to stop it. AZ builds the Ultimate Weapon to revive his Floette. In his anger AZ uses the weapon to end the war, devestating both regions.

1985: Red and Blue are born.

1991: Artemis Seer is born.

1993: Ezra Yew, Mino Haruka, and Cross Laurel-Elm are born.

1994: Vanilla Latte, Marie "Mare" Birch, Teal B. Jet, Rick Milano, Maryl Ein, and Whimsy Larson are born.

1995: Samuel Santiago, Cassandra Beech, and Rowan Banner are born.

1996: Red defeats Giovanni and takes down Team Rocket before becoming champion and disappearing off the map.

1997: Gracia Monuta is born.

2011: Modern Day

Because those are the only two professions in the Pokémon universe. Duh!
