Anyway the group project I mentioned? My only other teammate just got admitted to a psych ward so she's out of the project, my UK teammates are out of school and neglected to give me their research, I'm going to have to redo all three hours of observation with a new table, and now I have to do the remainder of the project by myself

Theres a couple of like cannon evo dot forms rather than just a version of it. I was considering one for my line since having a smol little digimon would suit mei's fairytale vibes.

My brain is not fried however I have been obsessing over competitive Pokemon for like the past 3 days and it's all I want to think about other than drawing. (The only thing I managed to get drawn the whole this week and last week is this thing and I feel like I'm going to explode)

competitive pokemon is fun. The current rule set is one of the better ones it feels like or at least nice after the legendary spam.

I don't know much abt the rules in general but ough stall strategies beloved

Deep sea things are very fun to draw even if it took me a bit to figure out how to put eyes on the lure without making two sets of fully functional eyes. I can thank the barreleye for this idea

sadly stall isnt very good in the double meta since they made changes to favor hyper offense teams but its may favorite to see people find new ways to do it like stench gloom is making a comeback just tee hee flinching.

Yeah. Doubles is just more fast paced tbh.

Hilariously, my favorite pokemon, which I hadn't even glanced at for Competitive, can be used in both. Gliscor was banned in singles for a time, and for good reason because that poison-heal stall was impressive. For doubles it's a good sweeper. nothing more satisfying than watching it set up one or two swordsdances and then just obliterate the other side of the field... as long as there's no ice types

ignoring conversations about micro transactions and blah blah aside

pocket tcg is fun but the sort of get the good cards and win by your second turn type game for now. Once more cards come out the meta should be better but right now its ugh.

unite is fun but tbh unless you have a full party of 5 your going to be at the mercy of feast or famine matches since it uses engagement match making rather than skill so you either win by a lot or else just get stuck in base.
