He was the first tested successfully, And he was the skill to lead the rest, Yet due to his age he isn't always right in some situations, He likes to do things 'his' way, And hates when he is second best, or being a 'follower' . he enjoy being in control at all times, Its not hard to make him angry, Unless you know how to push his buttons like his sister Skylar.


Jay and Skylar are siblings, taken at birth. Jay slightly remembers the testing, and the other test subjects. He often has dreams, Where they all meet, And there are gun shots, Fire, Ash, Blood. Its visually terrifying, but he doesn't tell anyone. Jay and Skylar's family was reluctant at first to accept them, Eventually they were accepted back into their home, A year later did the family see their 'true' form. Personality: Patient, shy and terrified of making mistakes. Terrified of physical contact. Tends to stay silent in the background, as if she's fearing to be noticed. Often zoning out and just disapearing into her own mind.


History: As the others, she was taken from her family and tested on, seeing what powers she would get. They wanted to do so, and so they did. Her eyes changed from a hazelnut brown, and to a ice cold blue, and her skin which would have turned tan sooner or later together with her family, stayed pale. Even her hair did not change like everyone thought it would do. Instead of growing to be black or brown like that of her family, it turned a cold blue, like the ice on the waters during the winters.


Her family was terrified when she came home, but dared nothing but to take her back in. the little girl they had given up on 5 years ago, had been returned to them, though she was not her daughter. she was a freak, a misfit, a monster. they dared not give her love, they dared not show her to anyone outside of the family.


She was an outsider in her own family.


No one in her family would show her any love, not her older siblings nor her younger ones. All she was showed was hate. Hate, hate, and more hate. If someone in the family was to blame for anything, it was her. Even though the war was raging on outside of the little house they lived in, there was a war going on in there too, and she was the losing side. When she got afraid, whatever liquid she touched would turn to ice. It would just freeze to ice, and she never understood why. her family wouldn't tell.


Her older siblings would often abuse her, mentally torment her as they made her run their errands. Did she do a mistake? It didn't really matter, they said she did anyway.


Everything was looking worse and worse, and then she got an idea. She could run away. She could hide away from them.


So one night, just before her 17th birthday, she packed her backpack, and snuck out the window, and fled. Never since then have her biological family seen her, and all she know is that she's safe for now. Renting a small apartment in an old building, no more than a bedroom, a kitchen, and a bathroom she's managing. She doesn't need more than that. It's more than she's ever had before. She works daytime shifts at a resturaunt just around the corner, saving up money. She wants to go further away. Far away from seattle even.

She doesn't remember much of the testing, the memories supressed, but what she does remember, is that being near others is dangerous.

157 cm tall, quite slim, rarely wears make up other than at work. All of the hair is a pale blue colour. Commonly seen with black, white or grey colours. Also commonly seen in her work uniform which is a blue skirt, with a white shirt and a tie.

Tho he does have a soft spot for younger children and others that were tested on like him.


Personality: He avoids people all together but his interest in the way people think makes him stay around them, he has a hatred for humans but never kills due to his good morels getting to him. Instead he usually molds his appearance to there fears to scare them to a inch of there life's. He can be killed why in a different form so this does not make him indestructible.

History: Kenneth was one of the older children. When the war happened, he watched with avid curiosity. He knew the moment he saw it that all he wanted was to be a soldier. He wanted nothing more than to fight for his country, to be a hero. He got his wish. About eight years ago, he joined the army, and quickly went up the ranks. He quickly was put in charge of seven other men, and was told to lead them, train them, and make them stronger. He was a good soldier, and a good leader, and his troop loved him. He excelled in physical combat, and had a steady hand with a gun. But then it happened. He discovered his powers. In an argument with one of his superiors, Kenneth placed a hand on the man and shredded the skin and flesh from his bones. Realizing what he was, the military kept what had happened a secret, and released Kenneth from service. That was three years ago. Now without a job, and without a home, he wandered the country, doing odd jobs. By now he has been a landscaper, a mechanic, a grocer, a cook, a plumber, a roofer, and even a sanitation worker (garbage man). His current job is at a gun range. He lives in a cheep one room apartment.


Personality: Kenneth is reserved, and seems even taciturn to most. He tends to be brusk and abrasive, but when it comes time for action, he will easily take the lead of a situation, making smart informed choices. When one gets to know him, they will know that he is a nice guy, but he will try to stay away from people due to his powers.


Physical (I am not going to use a pic): Black, neck length hair and brown eyes. He wears a large brown jacket all the time with his military badges sewn on the inside. He wears a mechanic's cap, and has a pendant with a shield and cross swords on it. Wears heavy hiking boots and loose pants. Tends to wear colors such as black, brown, and grey.

Abilities: When he comes in physical contact with an object or person, he can rip apart any metal that is in it/them. In some extreme cases (like the discovery of his power) he can also pull apart carbon.

History: When Max was tested on he had a very different reaction to their testing. He showed the normal signs of becoming a supernatural human, his eyes became a deep purple, but he became slightly animalistic, growing a tail and having his ears become pointed at the end. He constantly pushes himself away from people, because they would think he was a monster. His father cared for him very much to the point of teaching him how to fight, and is now an extremely skilled fighter. His mother, however, despised and detested him and eventually went crazy. She in a crazy fit of rage found Max's father and stabbed him to death, then proceeded to go after him. He regain the ability to control the wind in this moment by blasting his mother back into the wall and causing her to land on the knife she was using. Her last words to him before she died were, " Even when you were normal I hated you entirely!" Afterwards he ran away from his dead parents, this was 6 years ago; he now lives in various old abandoned houses were nobody can find him, and steals food and water to survive. The only contact he ever gets is when he makes his short trips out for food, or when he goes to the library to play online chess. He earned his nickname by being able to win a game as long as he had one bishop on the board. He is a regular at the Library and considers it his second home, and sees the nice librarian as the caring mother he never had. Its the only place where he can feel normal and show who he really is.(mainly cause you can't wear hoods in a library, who knew?). His favorite place besides the library is at the top of the tallest building despite him being afraid of High places and more importantly falling.


Personality: Max is a very kind and caring person to the people he trusts the most. He considers himself an outsider and tries to stay in the shadows most of the time. He is a naturally scared person who is afraid of anything he thinks of as dangerous, and will run if he thinks he's in any kind of danger. He is shy and tries to socialize with people, but fails miserably due to the fact that he doesn't know who to talk to others without starting to have a nervous breakdown.

Personality, History & Physical Appearance: In the labs, the caretakers were often nice to Lucien. Perhaps because bad emotions could in turn cause havoc. They would force him to feed off the emotions of the other kids, so that he could control them. His long emotion feeding has messed up his own natural emotions, when he's angry, he's very angry, when he's sad, he's very sad, all of his emotions were heightened by this. His family was rather wealthy, but when he returned, they shunned him. A freak, a monster, he was worthless to them. He was a runaway during the war, stealing clothes, food, money, even stuff he could sell. He's never been very athletic, but he's always been rather street smart, and knows how to play a con or two as well. Needless to say, after his past, getting his trust is rather difficult.


Appearance:

Details: Lucian has pale skin, and messy brown hair, hazel eyes sticking out. His clothes are often rather loose or ill-fitting, and whilst some could say he has an attractive face, isn't necessarily beautiful. He's also rather lanky and doesn't have much in the way of muscle tone.

Abilities: Lucian is an empath. He is capable of feeding off the emotions of others, which temporarily boosts his speed to just above peak human for an hour. When Lucian feeds on an emotion, he feels the emotion, rather strongly, infact. Feeding on anger will give him an unstoppable rage for a short time, or sadness will make him inconsolable. Also, after he feeds off an emotion, he is capable of 'pushing' the emotions of the person he fed off, controlling what they feel, if anything, and how strong.

Outside of that, he's a very relaxed person. He enjoys going out and doing adventurous activities, but he also likes the familiarity of home. It takes a lot to anger him, but, when it does, he literally explodes.


His history was rather average for someone his age. He went to school, hung out with friends, went on trips with his family, and met a few girls. He didn't discover his power until he was 16. His brother learned soon enough, and helped Donovan to try to control it before he left for college. Luckily, it was rather easy. Donovan was almost a master at his own powers when he turned 18 and left to find the others.


He has a few odd pets, mainly reptiles, that he brought with him.


Appearance: Short brown hair, thin build. 6'2". He wears a hoodie and jeans, his favorite clothes, mainly because it's always the right temperature for them. He keeps a thermometer in one pocket so he can monitor the temperature.

Consequently, she is timid and shy around strangers and when Ashlyn does get a friend, she treasures the friendship and is loyal and protective of her friends. She has quick reflexes and is a good fighter in some aspects, she doesn't know it yet though. When she needs to be, she can be fearless.
