Maya wasn't sure if she'd call it crafty, but good type match up. None the less she directed her pokemon to the center area and ready for the battle to begin.

As soon as they were to get into position and were ready...


Lois/Ginger: *Commanding their pokemon* Gothitelle, Use Psyshock on that Pikachu standing on the other side., Pikachu, Use Thundershock! on that charmander. let's see it try to avoid having to ride the lightning. Lol!

The first attacks had begun and it was with a sparking surge of energy. The battle was now on the start and went on with Gothitelle using Psyshock. A good start to a hefty battle. Ginger's pikachu used Thundershock. Right on Charmander. Letting the Sparks fly... Snapping with the sound of a whip as it made a connection...

The Psyshock, made a mark on the opponents pikachu. There was no way that an electric mouse could just up and evade it without still getting a taste of it.

Sparky used it's quick attack but still took a chuck of damage from the attack. Dragon wasn't as fast though and took the blunt force of the attack.

"Now, Thundershock on Gothita, Ember on Pikachu!" Maya said.

Both Pokémon did as instructed as Sparky let out it's own bolt of electiriy and sent it towards the psychic pokemon. Dragon did likewise but with a ball of flame.

Green got distracted as Macie went over things with her choreographer. Green was busy talking with the other professionals about organzing backstage and looking into the stage hands, delegating vital tasks for the performance. When Macie took asked Green to take note of the others, she did so.

"Certainly, it's all taken care of, Macie. You don't have anything to worry about."

"Counter with Ember!" Maya shouted, "Sparky use..."

But Maya didn't get to finish as after he recovered from the attack he immediately followed Maya's command and launched with an Ember attack... at the wrong Pikachu! The ember hit Sparky dead center and knocked it out.

"... dang..." Maya said as she recalled Sparky.

Green gave a smile, then didn't say anything before pulling out her phone.

"Hello, Gary? This is Green, one of Macie's people. We've had some email correspondence. Anyways, Miss Lightfoot requires two backstage passes for her parents. Full V.I.P.," Green said into the phone.

There was a pause, then Green continued.

"Alright, great. You have a good one," Green responded before turning off her phone.

"It's no problem, Macie."

It was close to the early early evening hours by time everything for that day of rehearsing and practicing. Getting to meet the people who'd Macie'd be working with on the journey of preparing for the Concert that was to come.

Ridge: Nothing much... Just prepping and going over things. We met the sound, Audio and tech crew that Macie'll be working with during the making of the concert. They went over some of the transitioning.


Cherry: *Smiles* It's amazing though... Macie... You're so full of fortune. Just think... in less than a week and half... you're gonna be going Live... in Concert. For all the country to see. You know that they're gonna be filming the concert and it's being broadcasted throughout the entire country.

Maya looked down at her clothes as Courtney was talking about them. She just had on a sleeveless black shirt, black jeans, and white shoes. She had no idea how that looked rich but simple. But then the group began to chat about various things and Maya was feeling more like she was stuck in the middle of a reunion she had no part in. So she remained quiet for most of it. Until she finally spoke up but it wasn't too loud.

"... Well, I have some fishing to do and more practice," Maya said turning around from the group and going back to her fishing rod by the lake. Not that it was very far from them but at least she could do something. So she casted it back into the water as she sat down and waited.

Dodie: Our Macie?! *Looking at the girl and recognizing her* Macie, Is that you?

Gene: *To Macie* Mrs. Lightfoot, Do you know her?

Macie: I do. That's Dodie. The one who gossips a lot. But also had the juicy pieces from the school inhabitants from time to time. There's also Mrs. Bishop. Ginger's Brother Carl... and Dodie's Brother Robert Joseph. Fondly known as Hoodsey. And Then Courtney Gripling...

Alden: *Nods* Hmm... Well... They look pretty original. Nice.


Lois: Hello there, Macie. Back from Rehearsals?

Macie: Yeah. More will be for tomorrow. Tomorrow's to be on the transitions from the huge set to the first 3... then the 2nd one... then the last. With the last song being a tribute to a fallen artist.

Joanna: Where's Maya?

Joey: out catchin' some More pokemon?


Ginger: Yeah. My mom and I had a battle with her a moment ago... Maya's got some skills in her. She's good.

While all that was going on, Maya was working on fishing. Suddenly, she got another bite as she reeled it in. She called out Dragon ready to help... and it was just another magikarp. Maya sighed but felt this could be a good way to train.

"Alright, Dragon," Maya said to her Charmander, "Let's try Metal Claw!"

Dragon nodded going for the move as it tried to coat it's claws in a steely like substance to land the strike. But somehow it messed up and ended up doing a normal scratch attack. Which KO'd the magikarp.

"Well, we still got time," maya said as she helped the Magikarp back into the water before she started to fish for another water pokemon.

Macie: I hope that you went easy on her. She's barely getting the swing of things. She's a nice person... but still pretty new to battling. And is trying to catch more pokemon to see on having a chance in trying to maybe challenge the Gym leader.

Blake: *Walking over to Macie* I'd say... for one who casually would normally be with the nasal issue... You're new look is indescribably cutting edge. And Courtney and i would have you know... that we got a copy of your CD. It's been pre-ordered the other day and gained by us. Ahead of production. Your voice is dashingly angelic.

Macie: *Giggling and blushing* Blake, Stop making me blush. Those words are so very kind... but really. It's not needed to make me feel that adored. I'm still just Macie. The Rising Star is only a title. Not a way of life. It's only Career sense... that's all.

Ridge: *Nods* That's true. And she's the best.

Joey: You got that right. Rising star here is a true talent.

Joann: *Looking at Macie* My god... Macie... What's up with your new look? You look so different.

Macie: I know...

Cherry: *Looking at the band of people that Macie knew from her old hometown* ...

Blake: *Looking at the Lake suddenly and grins* I think that i'll see on catching a Water pokemon. Water and Electric. That'd be a dashing pair.

Carl: I wouldn't argue with that, Blake. *Calling out his pokemon* Come on out, Snivy. Let's go and see on battling a Water pokemon.

Macie: Want to meet my pokemon?

Dodie: How... Many pokemon do you have?

Macie: 14. And they're all very treasured.

Hoodsey: Can we meet them?

Macie: *Nods*

Gene: Mrs. Lightfoot. We really do have to get back to the hotel. It's been a long day and there are some things that you have to get done.

Macie: Gene, It's okay. We'll get them done. We already have the press releases and the press packages sent out. The Video message will be done tonight. I'm gonna be taking a moment on the top floor of the hotel... the roof and be doing the video clip there.

Gene: *Grins* Hmm... okay.

Macie: *Calling out her pokemon* Water starchild, Nova, Mystic Eye, Muscle Star, Electronic sparky, Illuminator, Sea dream, Music blaster, Starry Steelwing, Starshaper, Starbud, Star Stinger, Sparking Flash, Master Starflower. Come on everyone and say Hi.

Maya continued her fishing, which gained her another fight with yet another magikarp. Maya had Dragon practice his Metal Claw but it still needed work. Once she had the line back in the water she happened to notice Blake and Carl, but didn't really say anything to them. Instead she went back to focusing on her fishing.
