It was best for them to not respond to such obvious signs if hostility. So, they did such. As Anna glanced at Joanna, her smile widened apprrciatively. " I agree heavily. Besides, it would be nice to have a bit if target practice " . She said, before looking down at Ivy's pokeball . While it would be an obvious spite to use Lopunny , it would be much more fair to use someone who was able to hold their own nicely.

He knows about this stuff more than me. And as it is... I am okay with him. He's not power hungry. He happens to see me like a daughter figure. I think that he sees me as pure and innocent. But i think that he's just being how he's meant to be. He just wants me safe and that's good enough for me. I care about him. And i care about you. He made that call because i told him to. Not because he sought to do so. So for that... you might want to apologize to him. I am to blame for it. and yes... I was threatened by her. She breached my personal space and was rather threatening. I... uh... don't like that. I've mentioned to you once that i dealt with that much back in the town i used to live in. I was always targeted. Macie didn't know what to really tell her other than that. She didn't want to come off offensive either. It wasn't like her to do. It was just not like her. However... She wanted to just let it be heard how she felt on the matters. Kinda scared about offending the wrong sort of people.

The group by that time had all been ready to head out and followed Jenny over to the Gym. There was Little to no time to even second guess it. As it was that from what Jenny said to Joey and Yugi... It didn't sit well... It was like the one girl was being condoned and it felt like they were being made to feel guilty for being how they were to her. But Joey and Yugi were not into the girl. They were looking for protecting the Rising Star. That was the only thing on their call. Yugi happened to like Gaby Mercer which seemed pretty cute. Joey liked the girl Blueberry. He was wanting Macie in some way. But saw her being taken by Ridge and knew that it only right to let that go. But he still wanted to be like a protective friend to her.

The others all were unable to say much about what to do over the little hostile moment that was going on. To them... it was sounding very unpleasant.

As for Macie, Gene and Alden...


Gene: *Sighs* I don't know what that lady's issue is. But speaking to me in that sort of way was uncalled for.


Alden: I know. But maybe she could have had a point. That young girl... was not a threat to Mrs. Lightfoot. She was just overbearing and we may see it as threatening... But we do so... as we don't understand.

Her smile never went away, as she grabbed her pokeball and chucked it in the air. " Ivy, come and show your truest strength ! " . Ivy did it's iconic roar as it landed in a confident manner. It then surrounded each of it's vine whips using the Protect & Leaf Storm moves consecutively , giving a double amp to it's power. She wasn't planning on holding out and planned on testing her playmates as much as possible. She was really well adapt at utilizing the Protect Move for more than just defending with it. " Whenever you are ready . Come at me anytime " .

Meanwhile Sara decided to stay on the sidelines, carrying Madison for a bit so Charizard didn't have to . She wanted to participate, but she didn't have any lower-leveled pokemon to do so with. Plus, she was relatively unused to sparring with anyone that wasn't her sister, so she would likely do horribly . She smiled a bit seeing Anna's ready face. she has always been so competitive . This definitely wasn't an exception of any kind.

Macie: *Walking in and seeing the battle* Nice defect. Gee... it's a shame that the Pharaoh isn't battling me. It'd been fun. *Chuckles* Oh well... There's always next time.

Jordan: *Walking over to Macie* Macie... I don't know what i can say about how i'm feeling about the other night or so when you snuck out on us. But i won't deny that what you're doing... is pretty huge. I feel hurt about my sister crying because you snuck out. But i guess it's all with the territory as i'm her Brother. However... Macie: *To Jenny* I guess that i will. It's Anna and me against you, Jordan and Ginger. So... Here goes. *Commanding her pokemon* Sea Dream, Go. Sea Dream, Use Crabhammer and then Crunch on Chesnaught. Followed by *Thinking* I wonder if Corphish can use Sludge Bomb...

Macie checks her Pokedex and gets the info on what Corphish might be liable to use...

Pokedex: *Giving info* Corphish is capable to use Poison Attacks as well as dark type move.

Macie: I guess he can... Okay... *Finishing her command* Crabhammer, then Crunch on Chesnaught followed by SLUDGE BOMB!

Jordan: *Commanding his pokemon* Froslass, Use Aurora Veil, then Protect.

Ginger: *Commanding her pokemon* Buzzing Stinger, Twineedle and then Fury attack on Corphish...

Macie: *Seeing a Beedrill* Wow! A Beedrill. That's cute. Nice pokemon, Ginger. Very nice.

Jenny chuckled "Tank counter Crab Hammer with Wood Hammer, then use Spikey Shield" Jenny commanded, tank nodded and charged at Corphish with speed that was surprising for a Pokemon his size, as soon as both the Crab Hammer and Wood Hammer made impact with each other, a small crater formed under the impact, and Corphish was launched dozens of feet away, then Tank hunkered down and covered himself in spikes

Anna definitely looked a bit surprised at the offer. However, does one honestly believe that she would be battle-hardened enough not to take said challenge ? Of course she would be. " Now... Ivy launch the Protect Spheres at both Beedrill & Frosslass " . Ivy launched two of the Spheres at both pokemon insanely fast using Vine Whip . It was simply to see how they'd react.

Macie: *Gasps* Sea Dream! Oh no! *Running off after it and Bringing it back to the battle* That was too tough for you, Sea Dream. Too much. We need to give you something to bring your experience up. Maybe something like an Exp. Share. *Pauses* But... wait. I don't have one. Do i? *Checking her items real fast* I have one... Thankfully. Put this on you and you can gain exp. Faster. *To Jenny* Would it be allowed to switch pokemon for this? I haven't trained my Sea dream for a battle like this.

The others were battling and Joanna barely won her battle and with the win... Her Geodude Evolved into Graveler... But that was when it was seen and realized. Joanna had an Alolan Geodude...

That made it seem very interesting. She saw that Macie was trouble in the battle and came to aid. Now making it a 3 Vs. 3....

Leslie battled Macie Terrace and won. Several of them battled and won over one another.


Macie: *Looking at Joanna* You want to be part of this battle?


Joanna: Of course. You're doing a 3 on 2. But some aide is needed, So i'm gonna jump in and Aide. *To Jordan, Jenny* Any objections to that?


Macie: *With gratitude* Maybe there's a chance now. Sea dream... you can do this. Don't give up. You can't let this beat you. You're tough. I believe in you. You know that. Feel my heart. Listen to its beat. Flow with the heart. *Commanding her Pokemon* Sea Dream... Fire with another CRABHAMMER! Then Use another SLUDGE BOMB!

Joanna: *Commanding her Pokemon* Graveler... Use Earthquake on Chesnaught Followed by THUNDER! Then for sport... Use something to Shut it Down... WITH THUNDERSHOCK!

Jenny smiled "sure, hit me with your best"

Jenny that commanded "Tank, use spiky shield"

Tank quickly covered himself in a spiked canvas to endure all the attacks, however, for those that hit him directly took damage as well

"Now Tank, use metal claw into the ground" Jenny ordered

Tank responded by doing so and all of Joanna's electric attacks passed over Tank harmlessly into the ground
