The troublemaker

Matilda found a large dress for Celestia to wear, as Celestia had already stubbornly turned down most of all the dresses. She didn't exactly expect jeans to be an option, as the clothes seemed quite formal and expensive, but she was expecting something else than clothes covered in frills and glitter. How did people manage to walk around with this for an entire day? She let out a sigh as Matilda was slowly running out of patience, Celestia was quite stubborn and did definitely not help her pick out any of the clothes, as she was still tending to Celestia's clothing since some of it seemed to be a few sizes too big for her small underweight body.

"The Lord told me to make sure you eat your breakfast. I advise you do so," Matilda said suddenly in a polite tone as she was almost shouting a few seconds back.

"I'll eat," Celestia said as she began eating the breakfast she had been given, great to have some food served in front of her along with more of that delicious tea. Celestia was getting closer and closer to the point where she wished she was born into royalty, but was glad she didn't as she would never have picked up her thieving skills if she did.

Andrian slowly walked back to the guest room, taking his time to get there. He didn't know how he would explain to Celestia that he wasn't able to spend the evening with her. The meetings were going to take a huge portion of his early evening. He was finding that he wanted to spend more time with her and take her out shopping and to boutiques she hadn't had the chance to visit herself. To take her places she had never thought she would see and get her to see she didn't have to be a thief and live on the streets. It still gave him a great feeling of anger to imagine her small figure living where she wasn't protected and had to fight to be able to eat even a small morsel. He vowed to himself that he would ensure she would never have to fight or starve again. Reaching the guest room, he tapped on the door. " Celestia?"

"Come in," Celestia called as she realized her hair was still down, and the sound of Andrian's familiar voice made a small smile appear on her lips. She had just finished breakfast, much to Matilda's dismay as she hadn't used proper etiquette, and was still looking for her second rubber band. Her hair was still reaching her all the way to the back, a bit wavy as she liked it, but she preferred to keep it up. It was a habit she had developed from being on the street, her hair would get in the way, but she was too proud of it to cut it. Quickly she grabbed the blanket from the bed and threw it over herself like a hood, making herself look absolutely more ridiculous than she believed she looked already. Matilda only stood by, sighing as she had the impression of the girl being a royal, but she was obviously mistaken.

Andrian opened the bedroom door, and laughed out loud as he saw Celestia wrapped in a blanket looking like little red ridding hood. " So, the wolf has turned into the prey?" he asked her, wondering why she was wearing it. He glanced around and looked at Matilda who was wearing a from. "She's a trouble maker.." Matilda told him, giving her the glare he used to give him when he was a boy. " I tried getting her to dress properly for you and eat breakfast, but she is stubborn." He knew she was thinking she was like him. When he was a boy he would do everything to retaliate against his parents when they told him to dress. The clothing they had tried to dress him in was stiff and lifeless. They had given up and gave him the choice to choose his own clothing. Till the day, he was happy he had fought back.

" I know, Matilda." he laughed again, then turned to look at the maid. " Can you go help Melania set up? Thank you for helping me." he smiled the smile that always had gotten him out of trouble. The maid gave a small laugh then left the room without a word. Andrian walked over to Celestia running his hand along her hair, removing the blanket. "Ah, that's better. Your hair is to pretty to cover."

Celestia's face lit up once he heard his laughter, only realizing now that she must look at least ten times more dumb than she did with her hair down. She quickly hid her flustered face inside the blanket, no longer wearing it as a hood, but threw it over her face. She could hear the maid leave as a gentle hand stretched out for her, removing the blanket from which she had used to hide herself in. Shyly she looked away as he complimented on her hair, having a whole different opinion as she was not fond of her long her hair was.

"I- It's not that pretty..." she stubbornly insisted as she could feel his hand running through her hair gently.

It was weird, normally no man, especially not of royal blood, would get this close to her. She would have bitten his finger, hit his face, kicked his stomach, she would have ran away. However something in this man made her stay, not against her will, but her will wasn't completely here either. It was as if she was locked inside a cage, but she held the key in her hand.

"S- Sorry for the trouble," She said, still holding the blanket around her body as she wasn't more pleased with the dress she was wearing, as she was more used to something lose on her body, at least a couple of sizes too big and dirty. It just felt off, wearing something like this. Even worse in front of him.

Andrian's face lit up with a smile when she saw her reddened face. It gave him a feeling of wanting to pull her closer and hold her close. She just looked so adorable to him that he couldn't help but smile. "Oh, but it is. I haven't seen anything like it before. It's almost the color of snow and as soft as silk." he replied, still trailing his fingers through her hair. " Your not any trouble, Celestia. Your just not comfortable here. I want you to get used to having nice things, and asking for what you need. I want to help you." he pulled her into his arms, the blanket a barrier between them. He noticed she looked different, almost odd in the way the dress fit her and she almost seemed uncomfortable in it as well. " I have a few meetings I have to attend to this morning. My sister Melania can spend company with you. She's very kind and friendly. Are you okay to spend some time with her?" he asked, knowing he truly didn't want to leave her alone. If anything he wanted to cancel the meetings and take her out to the gardens. " After my meetings, I'll take you shopping and we can find something that you enjoy to wear. There's a nice shop, I know that sells nice silks and soft cottons. It's still formal but it'll be a lot looser and more comfortable"

Celestia's body froze as Andrian pulled her into a small hug, only the blanket keeping them from each other as she didn't utter one word, she almost found herself completely speechless. She wasn't used to someone caring this much about her, she was raised in the streets after all. It was save yourself or no one, after all the streets were quite rough. Celestia nodded to his question, as she didn't know that the princess was still around, she hadn't met her yesterday after all. She didn't fear the princess to be rutheless, but maybe she was more direct. Celestia was staying becuase she refused giving back the pendant she stole after all. "T- That sounds nice," Celestia managed to squeeze out as she almost snuggled a bit closer in, but didn't as she was still unsure what to do or even say in such a reaction.

Andrian noticed Celestia freeze when he pulled her into his arms, so he gently ran his fingers through her hair and down her back trying to get her to relax. He wanted her to trust him, and know he wasn't going to hurt her. It would give him happiness if she could rely on him for whatever she needed. No longer needing to live on the streets, and feeling like she had no one but herself to protect her. "Good. I want to buy you some gowns and accessories that will be yours. You'll be the only one who ever wore them and they will always be yours." he replied, knowing she would enjoy knowing no one else had worn them before her. "You'll need a new coat as well. Its getting colder outside and will snow in a fortnight."

"T- Thank you... Y- You're very kind..." Celestia muttered as Andrian's hand returned to brush through her hair, as she looked up to Andrian's eyes, exchanging a couple of seconds, before she looked back down to the floor, shyly as she was at the very least smiling. "Y- You don't need to be so kind to me though..." Celestia mutters out, as she was still very confused on why he was doing this much for her, buying her stuff and such as she was used to steal things, but shook the thought out of her head. Maybe she was just being too defensive, maybe if she let her guard down a few seconds she would be able to see what he was seeing, as Celestia clearly didn't. Her body became less tense, as her breathing more relaxed, as she slowly put her guard a bit down.

Adrian smiled enjoying how Celestia was so innocent. He was soon to be king, with money and gold yet she demanded nothing from him. He found himself starting to enjoy her company as she was very different from others he had met. " Your welcome. I want to help those who can't really help themselves. " he replied softly. He had images in his mind of her in the clothing he had bought for her and smiled again, he thought she would look very beautiful. His hand continued to travel down her back, he gently moved to kiss the top of her head.
