"It is early in the morning. We have a few more hours before dawn," she replied.

Zephyr looked "I'll have to split soon since I'm never around during the day" he said

"Very well... Until next we meet, sir... Perhaps under better circumstances, yes?"

 

[Kera]

Zephyr nodded " I say they will be better circumstances" he said

She nodded and led him out. "Good night."

Zephyr looked her "Night" he said before disappearing into the darkness

She smiled and went inside, bolting the door before falling asleep.

 

[Kera]

Zephyr returned to where he resides

She woke and made a small breakfast for the children before heading to the manor. She went to the lord's study immediately, where he explained her punishment to her. "I want you to go to the shed and bring me my whip. As you failed to apprehend the thief, you shall be punished in his stead." He turned to his manservant. "Take her to the whipping post."


The woman shuddered and shook as she was grabbed by her arm and dragged harshly out to a post that was used for public whippings, in full view of the marketplace. She was pushed face-first against it and her arms were tied around it, leaving her back unprotected. She looked around and noticed the faces of many of her suitors, staring at her in horror as her master cut the back of her dress open to show her skin and looked around, explaining that she was to be punished for her failure to stop the thief, and therefore assistance in the loss of his items. She cried out in pain as the harsh sting of the whip tore across her back.

Zephyr was out of view and he had his bow trained on the person with the whip he used one of his sharpest "Fucking asshole hope you like your new injury he released the arrow and it shot straight into the man's right shoulder it'll hurt like hell but wouldn't kill him.

The man cried out and stopped whipping Angela, leaving her sniveling and shaking, wounds all across her soft skin, marring its delicate, Lily white appearance with Crimson blood.

Zephyr gazed for a minute before disappearing during the day he never entered the street and preferred to move around the alley ways he knew all the nooks and cranny's so he got around unseen he used his contacts to find the easiest way to get medicine however the city had none he would have to make a trek to village a bit far it would take 2 days 1 to get there and 1 to get back but he doesn't like seeing anyone suffer so he decided to travel there.

She was carried to an infirmary and laid face-down as a doctor tried to ease the pain she was feeling by getting ice from the ice cellar. Her siblings came to see her, as they were reluctant to send her home in such a sorry state. She just wished she could heal fast so she could work.

 

[Kera]

Zephyr began his journey and when he was half way home from getting the medicine it seemed like he had been gone for days he had recieved a stab in his shoulder from bandits who attacked him but he bandaged it and went on his way by the time he would reach home it would be night the perfect time to give the medicine to angela

By then, it was clear Angela's back was going to have scars. The skin was inflamed and she was in a lot of pain. It was obvious.

Zephyr finally made it back he remembered which house she lived at and knocked on her door.

Mary opened the door. "Hello?" Se asked.

 

[Kera]

Zephyr looked at her "Hi there is Angela home?" he asked.

 

[No More Pretending]

"Yeah... Why?" She asked curiously.

 

[Kera]

Zephyr kept on looking "I have something for her" he said.

She stepped aside and pointed to a cot where she was laying on her stomach, blood-stained bandages on her back.

 

[Kera]

Zephyr approached her and sat down "Looks painful likely gonna leave scars also i have something for you" he said.

She looked over. "Mm?" She hummed quietly, voice cracking.

 

[Kera]

Zephyr held his hand out with medicine held in it "For that young boy" he siad.

 

[No More Pretending]

"Thank you..." She whispered.
